Make us move our clocks all forward
Always leaves me feeling strange
Maybe better if we ignored
Daylight Saving’s overblown
Not like it is farming season
Why can’t they leave time alone

Many people sweat the time change - I can't really say it bothers me much, but seems an anachronism of times past...
Today his birthday;
expected to
be too glad, they'd say
lived tough time through.
But, why he looks sad?
What's the reason?
Ah! boys made him mad
as they're teasing?
The thought he can't act
as others do
makes him sad, it's fact;
they also knew.
He feels helplessness
needs benevolence.

Skeeter Sonnet is a Gadget Sonnet form created by

It is a quatrazain.
It is metrical consisting two metric feet a dactyl
(a metrical foot consisting of one stressed syllable
followed by two unstressed syllables or one long syllable
followed by two short syllables) and followed by a trochee
(a foot consisting of one long or stressed syllable followed
by one short or unstressed syllable)
All even lines except the last, are catalectic
[lacking one syllable in the last foot].
It is rhymed like Shakespearean Sonnet

Never I can forget that day,
memories remain fresh, as if
it happened only yesterday.
I didn't expect you would open
up your mind with such lovely thought;
Flow of words was like a poem;
Tells me from life what else you sought.
Yet, that imprints feeling which stay
in memory for decades, touch
heart always in positive way.
Appreciate the words chosen
which expresses the wise views, taught
a great lesson for all, focus
to help each needy on the spot.

Stanza 1 a tercet, rhyme axa or aaa
Stanza 2 a quatrain, any quatrain form or rhyme

Stanza 3 a tercet, same tercet form as stanza 1
Stanza 4 a quatrain, any quatrain form and rhyme
Any metrical foot, Any metrical line
Some authorities insist on eight syllables but this is not cut and dried
Rhyme scheme: depends on the form chosen.

amphibrachic verse
It looks like a kiwi
No, kiwis are fuzzy.
Then maybe a lemon?
or lime? I'm obsessed.
Am I getting closer?
Misshapened? an orange?
A colorless photo,
confusing at best.
The white seems so hazy
while black’s overriding
and grays run together,
an image in stress.
The point of this quand’ry -
I’m missing my colors,
the clues that enlighten
my eyes to the quest.
