Premium MemberA Robin’s Song

The bright sunshine signalled a new
dawn,
Lazily, I stretched and yawned,
Not truly ready to face the day,
As I looked out of my window, my
neighbour shouted, it’s beautiful
today.

On a thin and fragile branch,
I noticed a Robin was resting his
feet,
A charmer he was , and to my eyes,
he was a treat,
His colourful coat was white, brown
and red,
Seeing him made me feel glad I had
gotten out of bed.

With his melodiously sweet trill,
the leaves on the trees seem to
flutter with his song,
Notes rise and fall and with the
gentle breeze, the branches swayed
in a rhythmic dance,
His tune filled the Spring air, and
not long, a female came along,
Witnessing their interactions was a
beautiful moment for me. Sometimes
in life, unexpectedly beautiful things
do happen by chance.

Winter Paradise

Winter could be so beautiful
The endless snowy valley
The fairy blue lake
Herdsmen winter pasture
Herds of cattle and sheep
Herding melodiously
Under a snowy mountain
A paradise into dreams.

Troglodytes troglodytes
A tiny European bird
Secretive and sensitive
But very often heard.

Its Latin name is very long
In contrast to its size.
Its British name
Is very short
We simply call it
‘Wren’.

However grand its Latin name
It’s glorious in one thing.
Oh, you should hear
So loud and clear
How it melodiously sings!

From out of such a tiny bird
Pours out a mighty sound
Far sweeter and far louder
Than so many birds around.

A tiny bird
Tells us that
Its great Creator
Can do more
Than we can ever ask or think.

“Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20

She said, “I don’t like poetry.”
“Forsooth!” said I, “Really?”

Yet you listen, hour upon breathless hour
To rhythmic verses of country whine,
Endless twanging, chaotic musical notes banging.
In the background, white noise and lustful melodies clanging.

“I don’t like poetry.” He said.
“Forsooth!” said I, “Really?”

Yet you gyrate to the raging beat of violent rapping.
Husky lyrics flow melodiously off your cursing tongue
And spray the peaceful, quiet night with viral, hateful musings.

“We don’t like poetry.” they said.
“Forsooth!” said I. “Like, really?”

Madonna, Taylor, Pink, Katy …
you can’ t wait to download their latest offerings.

Poetry rules your life.
You lust for it.
You need it to survive.
It sets the rhythm of the universe,
And your childish beating heart.

Just because it’s set to music? “Forsooth.” said I.

Trane Bird Hawk

I'm riding and flying into dimensions beyond the 3rd,
Sweet melodies and harmonies of rhythmic words.

They speak melodiously and deeply to my soul.
I'm riding and flying; I'm losing control.

No seatbelt to buckle into or even think of,
But I'm safe and feeling free, flying like a dove.

Above all pain 'cause Trane, Bird, and Hawk are soulfully saxing,
Sweet, harmonious melodies got me chillaxing.

Free! I'm so free,
And my mind's eye can see.

And my heart can feel,
I'm riding and flying into a peaceful surreal.

We dream ourselves free and in our pride, we concoct lofty words of praise,
"We are democrats, lovers of liberty, free from prejudice and hate,"
In our furnace, we build the great human experiment, a dream always worthy to follow;
We speak melodiously, with noble sentiment, growing gardens of ideals meant to be seen.
But in reality, we are a vulgar mob, shoving and sharing quarrels,
Where passions are easily stirred by demagogues, media, belief profiteers, agitators.
Blasphemies uttered, this is called "the society of free people"; it's a heavy word,
What can we offer the world but overly full plunder we've stolen from humanity's land?
Under the hallucination that this mad theft can be called progress and bright culture,
We substitute our being in a blind race, too often tempted by subliminal deceit.
Everything is built on the foundation of illusion, a selfish altar on which we sacrifice common sense,
And we lose our hopes and dreams in the abyss of momentary prosperity, the delusion of a lawful happiness.

The Deepest Song

I heard this song today
A wordless piece
That spoke to my soul
Whispers of calm
Melodiously poetic yet lyrically absent
A map to serenity
What have i missed

Captivated I was
The reverence in its simplicity
Burrowing deep into my ears
Explaining where I should be
I've forgotten where i am
And why I'm here
Nowhere but in this moment

I feel it's energy
Loud and piercing
An infinite mist of pleasure
Descends upon me
Created by the vocals of that saxophone
A record played from bumps on my skin

Each instrument
Told me a different story
Perfect in tone
Carried through every vein
Now in rythym
My heart is at peace

Each second so sublime
Transcendent in its structure
These notes speak
And I've never listened as intently
Now I feel fine
No more holes to fill

I will be fine

Premium MemberDeep Purple

Amethyst, the amalgamation of deep red and blue
Mingles with the motley kaleidoscopic rainbow hue
The sun, moon, and stars melodiously sing together.
Hills, mountains, valleys, and plateaus before bonfires gather

Wisdom, vision, royalty, power, and ambition glow.
Winds of magic, peace, independence, and affluence blow
Wavelengths of courage and bravery win many laurels.
Re-evaluating values, goodness weaves new morals.

Our souls have flown from this world. Yet, like cherubims, they meet
Birth-death existence cycle gloriously they complete
On a blissful earth, air, ether, water, and fire realm
As the controller and the controlled, we're on divine helm.

The Avian Beauties

Amidst the woods, there existed exquisite birds,
Warbling melodiously upon trees with rhythms that charm,
Their vibrant hues reminiscent of a festive evergreen,
Meticulously adorned within the forest's arboreal realm, akin to celebration adornments.

Premium MemberIn the Dusting of Springtime

In the dusting of the springtime,
sweet scented thoughts of yesterday
ring melodiously like chimes
and again, preluding my way…
As I reminisce all sweet scents,
gentle breeze caresses my hair
like when the star jasmines, hyacinths,
gardenia and phlox filled the air.
When butterflies hovered with bees,
praising bright roses and tulips,
my honeybabe gave my first kiss-
great memories, so nice to keep.
Blooming gifts, birds…all spring love songs
With wistful thoughts, my heart belongs.

A Symphony of Nature

Amidst the rustling leaves and gentle breeze,
The symphony of nature never seems to cease.
Birds chirping melodiously in the trees,
A musical ensemble that's sure to please.

The rustling of the leaves like a soft lullaby,
A soothing melody that can calm the mind's eye.
The chirping of the birds, a joyful tune,
As they dance and play beneath the moon.

The rush of the river, the crashing of the waves,
A harmony that nature constantly engraves.
The gentle patter of the falling rain,
A rhythmic beat that helps ease the pain.

Nature's orchestra, a masterpiece divine,
A symphony that plays with every breath and line.
Each note a wonder, each sound a work of art,
Nature's symphony, forever in our hearts.

A Bicycle Bell

A bicycle bell very clearly does say,
Melodiously, “Please get out of my way!”
It isn’t as jarring as honking we’d hear
From taxis or cars warning us to steer clear.

It doesn’t disturb like a grating alarm
And the decibel level won’t cause any harm.
Its sound isn’t shrill like a whistle that’s blown,
To summon a cab, which most doormen do own.

It’s so much preferred to a growl or a bark
Which a dog will employ as a threat or a hark!
But for humans, out walking, instead of a yell
When you’re blocked, just consider a bicycle bell.

Premium MemberWisdom From Trees

Finding myself lost in dream deep forest
I was overwhelmed by tall tender trees
Their lush canopies are comforts for rest
Nesting birds bask in shafts of sunshine-kiss

Seated on grass by deciduous leaves
I heard trees-- melodiously whispering
Sharing great wisdom for me to believe
Then, rendered song with wind’s joyful singing...

“We’re trees, the precious treasures of this earth
We provide shelters, foods and furniture
Protection for next generations’ birth
From storms and floods…hugging the whole nature"

"Trees are great hope to make your future bright
Save them... God gives you good life in His light"

Premium MemberShadow Dancer

I dance in the Shadows of a moon lit night.
As the song of Life deepens my insight.

I clasp my hands over my tender heart.
It deepens with pure Love as the Dance starts.

Rays of the Moon with the shadow of trees,
they melodiously start dancing with me.

Dancing to the shores of the Sea with shimmering light.
Brings in foam to my feet with wonderful delight.

The Celtic song rises in the depth of my soul.
Dancing in the sparkling sea makes me whole.

The song of this night’s life echoes in my ears.
It sings Mother Earths songs of glorious years.

I kneel down in honor as my spirit joyfully cries.
Gaia gently draws the mysterious mist from the sky.

She descends from the sky and enters into the misty moon light,
we dance in loving embrace, across the rippling seas of the night.

I am forever loved as I feel her arms around me.
For I am now the Shadow dancer of the wind-swept sea.

Soul Adrift

A jubilant tenacious boy harmonizes melodiously along.
He continues smiling often to everyone with an open heart.
Passing times dotage, him proudly akin to the sweetest song.
Growing into a tall strong man, the world is his bounty he can have it all.
Darkness overstretches a dirty hand to this once blissful boy.
Rather than to pursue a dream of anything possible, the man does fall.
The light of hope shines in the corner for him to pursue.
One can wish upon the stars for strong boy to become the strong man and find joy.
