The breach of the men and the boys.
The ladies despair of such joys.
What flies off their tongue.
The phlegm, it is flung.
Both spit with an “ach” sort of noise.

There once was a man from Tenerife,
Whose sunbathing was all rather brief.
But when he started to cough,
His flimsy fig leaf blew off.
While the ladies confirmed their belief.

he face that was familiar is no more
Yet he haunts me in my dreams and in my days
I miss him for his judgment and his heart
The face that was familiar is no more
Yet in my mind’s eye i can see him now
Humorous and kind , I alm distraught
He haunts me in my dreams and in my days
The face that was familiar is no more

Can you imagine if
Environmentalists lived
100 million years ago:
The air would still be
so thick you could
cut it with a knife
(which they wouldn’t have)--
and everywhere one stepped
one would be stepped on
As for love?
I think only in Disney dinosaurs
but I could be wrong…
(humorous comments
pro and con most welcome)

UNTITLED
You lived your life being there for others,
Putting your family first fulfilling their needs.
Your consideration of others continued
Even when you were ill.
The joy of being in your life showed
How much we loved you and always will.
The memory of you, of your humorous ways
And your quiet manner live on in us,
who love and cared for you.

Funny, it is how witnessing the root form of greed
Can cause an otherwise healthy vision to bleed
Humorous is a poorly conceived disguise
So much so that blood drips from my eyes
Hilarious is the blinding light
Hemorrhaging to the sight
Amusingly though, it's not so cryptic
As phlebotomy consumes the optic
If any of this has you seeing red
Maybe control your anger instead

Never mind your P's and Q's
You should be concentrating on your H's
And turning them into action plans.
You can start with Words like Humanity,
Or Humility,
Humbleness is another that cries out suitability,
And don't forget Hospitality,
Or that being Humorous is an essential ability.
I Hope my words you will heed,
If you find it hard,
Just look into your heart,
And you will find Love there waiting to give you some help

Cartoons keep me smiling, they keep my composure at ease,
Most cartoons are crazy, for the humorous there meant to please.
Cartoons are colorful, and wonderful when feeling down,
You can smile at a cartoon even if you turn off all the sound.
Spongebob is my favorite, there's also The Simpsons and Family Guy,
I watch them alone and laugh crazily till I cry.
Cartoons keep me calm, away from the negatives of the world----
Cartoons..

a humble, humorous hut
built amidst shrubs.
Lone as an island,

Dublin is Irelands capital city
On the river Liffey
It is at the seashore
With mountains galore
Viking settlement
With many more to come
Bringing changes
Throughout the ages
Diverse and welcoming
Humorous and serious
Dubh Linn meaning Black Pool to those in the know
Continues to grow
Home to many
Workplace for some
It is never hum drum
To those who have never been
There is so much unseen
Including our forty shades of green

Abraham Lincoln, the president,
Awe-inspiring American gent.
Lead the American Civil war
Abolishing slavery no more.
Abraham Lincoln, the president,
Scraggly and tall, cheeks each flaccid dent.
Laughing, jokes were told of people’s flaws.
Jokester, mocked how ugly he was.
Abraham Lincoln, the president
Shared his humorous stories frequent.
History's great leaders, once long ago;
Helped shape the America we know.

Repeating, an interesting word
Repeating, an interesting word. One used often, even shortened. Like the word states, Repeating, Re doing the past wrongs, voluntarily seeking the past power usage, Seemingly used as the banner for the next mans future. but what is ignored, is the use of, the poor, the new making of the poor, and the dominance of the wealthy. The black side of the humorous petition of insanity, is the willingness of the deprived to follow and suffer the repeated consequence.

If I was half as clever as I think I am
People would whisper about my whimsical wily ways.
Warlocks would warn witches about my wit.
We would be reading about me in a World Book.
If I was as humorous as I think I am
Beavers would hunch over my Hungarian hash
Begging me to bring my brilliancy into their burrows.
They would be genuflecting and paying me homage.
If I was as wise as I think I am
I would keep this to myself
So I could keep my friends who would make fun of me
If they read this poem.

Of january starting a new year
Of heart messages written on colored paper in february
and my birthday in april
of green cabbage and corned beef in march
Of hot dogs and hamburgers in may for memorial day
the beginning of summer in june
And fireworks in july
The summer coming to an end in august
Labor day gatherings before the kids start back to school in september
Spooks and goblins prancing through the street in october
A turkey feast in november
And everyone opening gifts in december.

all is quiet
no noise slithers through the air
no one but me is there.
later, I am surrounded by
a sea of people,
their voices swarm through
the humid rain-filled air
physically I'm crowded,
mentally I'm avoided and secluded,
the air is always quiet where i am and
where i choose to be,
i look around; no one is here but me.
until i find the one who plasters
a smile on my face
the one who makes me laugh
with his humorous grace,
he hums his written songs in my ear
i wont admit, but close to my
heart i hold him dear

You can’t understand how that sounds.
You laugh, but you look like clowns.
Don’t repeat the joke. Don’t assail
my ears with what you would call a humorous tale.
I don’t have the patience for this. My head pounds.
I’d rather eat coffee grounds
than listen to your waste of nouns.
But heaven forbid you notice this detail.
You can’t understand.
Your obliviousness astounds.
It begins to escape the bounds
of what reality should entail.
Yet you seem infinitely able to exhale
nonsense. There is so much about you which confounds.
You can’t understand.

Time is fast or slow
A fine ticking illusion
We know it ticks just the same
Colors in the sky
Born by sunrise or sunset
Stay in memory both ways
Mysterious love
Can leave so many questions
Or reassurance with none
Music moves the soul
In a dance of happiness
Or re-igniting sorrow
Laughter is healing
Sharing it is amplified
In a humorous duet

She angers me with no remorse
No more metophors or synonoms
I will crison her throat with my hands
Then bless the floor with her blood
But the penetration won't be deep enough to kill instantly
No...she wil suffer as i had
With wood pannelling her hands will disappear
With lead pipes an entry in her thighs
The scars if she were left breathing
Too great for anybody to carry
Her fall down the stairs due to severred achilies
Much too humorous and will bring me to tears
For all her assails upon my ego and reputation
And for all her lies and cheats as a whore
I will give nothing but impunity of a greater kind
If I had my way long ago
I would have crushed her face in the door

outside my window
palest of new leaf green
spreads across my boreal forest
covering the sky
so prominent in winter
I say my forest because
I know each tree intimately
it belongs to me
as if any human can own
something so immense
never physically touching
my mind has taken in
every inch of nuance
song of flush sap, its music
flowing higher and higher
branch, bud and leaf
I belong to it because
we have exchanged thoughts
I have rejoiced at its renewal
wept when I heard the long cry
of its death at the hand of man
clearing for no other reason
than his aesthetics.
They are brave and abiding
dignified and humorous
persistently repeating life
beyond my window.
