A Peasant's Abode
The cloud spreads over
a humble, humorous hut
built amidst shrubs.
Lone as an island,
guarded by tiny, tall trees
…a peasant’s abode.
Coming home to rest
after the day’s duty, tired
…a famished farmer
Cottage with peasant
coming home with a duty
…hung on his shoulder
