Perestroika, a love letter
Glasnost beaten by the devil
prison camps revitalized
repression modernized
for the new world
new wars the same young men die
Ukraine's children bleed red
Putin's delusions
unraveled Russian humanity
He could suffer no longer
he sang songs at the piano
in reminisce
languishing in time
that seemed to move backwards
solitude became intolerable
A marked man buried
never forgotten
in the wind a soft voice whispers
come my love
I await you
Love Raisa
Putin, Putin, yes I want you,
A marked man, with another few,
So busy creating your own demise,
Brazen, proud of your war, no disguise.
Putin, Putin you are going to hell,
And your marching clones, I foretell,
Will all, hear the sound of the calling bell,
For where you are bound, is no hotel.
Putin Putin, yes I want you,
A disgrace, is your heartless robot crew,
Inhumane cruelty is your only way,
The devil in blood he’ll want you to pay.
Putin, Putin you’re going to hell,
Hear me, your flesh will burn and smell,
You have won no war, you will succumb,
History will refer to you as infamous scum.
A bully is a criminal caught red-handed in Japan,*
Vietnam,† Afghanistan, Iraq; a culprit or a marked man
Who entitles only himself to missiles, putting a ban
On possessing them by others; and try as much as you can
To put into his empty skull with your best-laid scheme and plan
That he is wrong, he won’t perceive. You should only weigh and scan
All ways to find one to teach him a lesson for his life span.

I Turned My Back
A spirit casually approached, shat its parched load,
producing a small cloth it worked its hands furiously,
fashioning of clay and soot something to assuage a
deep yearning in its soul, something that looked,
as it looked to itself.
I turned my back to the left, my sight took in these images,
touched to my core this phenomenon pierced hot like a steel blade,
searing a scaring wound punctually within, permanently set.
I let out a scream, which carried back into the canyons and the recesses where smoke resides apart from fire, where water breaks into its separate molecules.
A world-like landscape emerges from a thinning air, dusty and rough in texture, sprouting forth smallish shrooms in iridescent hues, resembling footprints in snow they shimmer and vibrate.
The spirit and itself have moved in and around this landscape before,
leaving their footprints, their mark.
The immediacy of my experience continues to pierce impressionably,
I am now a marked man, my goal; adapt consciously.
How can this happen, this outrageous political screw up
Omar Khadr was born in Canada, apparently a normal buck
The family moved to Pakistan
Since, he's been a marked man
Involved in terrorism, now inheriting millions, what the duck?
There's a breath we call our last one
As death takes another stab at me
how bout life does it not fight back
I will not accept defeat the devil brings steel bars, coffins for a blessed heart
better take caution as i take that last breath we call deaths march
When ancient wisdom died where did the power pass on in death throes
where old things are left and thrown away we call it the graveyard blessed souls are calling out
winning the race made me a marked man
but at that time society thought survival was a lost art
And we could'nt prepare ourselves for death that comes from disasters or accidents
If you want a war of ideas you better have some type of skills bring your battleships
Doncha' see this here battle scar
That I bought at a hard-knock bazaar?
I admit I'm a fool
Yeah? What about you?
Ain't half the idiot YOU are

London’s Guildhall, John Lilburne is frogmarched in
A man Cromwell considered a friend,
To stand before him accused of high treason
His actions against parliament to defend
As radical leader of the ‘Levellers’
John opposed Parliament fervently,
With his clandestine printing network
Speaking out of its tyranny;
Power, John Lilburne argued
Belonged with the common man,
His pamphlet ‘Agreement of the People’
Defined how, in the ‘Levellers Plan’.
In ‘England’s New Chains Discovered’
He urged soldiers and citizens, ‘unite-
Reject the rule of the Grandees!’
He was arrested and charged with mutinous incite.
Cromwell brought him to the Guildhall
Amid the strictest security
Troubled his trial would cause civil unrest,
Such was John’s popularity
Although eventually acquitted and exiled
He lived the rest of his life a marked man,
And our constitution, today, owes its birth
To the ideals of his ‘Levellers Plan’.
