How many women here
have been impregnated
by Elon Musk? looking for hands

He plans to repopulate the planet
single handedly - well, not handed
exactly - you know what I mean.

In Australia, great swaths of Texas,
and of course Mar-a-Lago, he’s a serial offender,
because his sperm is legal tender.

Factoid: you might catch a disease,
he’s sleeping with everyone north of Belize
and several of them, frankly, look sleazy.

Of course, you’d have to listen to him talk. shivers
Unless you say, “Hey, can we do this without conversation?”
That’s when you’d slip on your sleep mask, and, well, you know.
But what would you be thinking about?
.

Fruits book

2024.5.14
Apple said to banana
"B loves avocados more than you".
Avocados signed: "Hmm, apparently not any more.
Now, he loves his lazy bone
And lets it be his boss.

Chilli whispered "I am hot
But not enough to attract him".

Orange said "I am full of Vitamin C.
And wondered where he got the calcium from
To feed his lazy bone,
Which made him grow so much and so tall.

Grapes said "Sour grapes"

Mandarin yelled in Chinese
"Mind your own business.
B has lots of videos to watch
And to work on them."

Plum signed "By the way,
He will never get plum from fasting,
So make way for the love,
Of his life for the present time"

"Guys, guys, please be quiet,
Don't you worry, I love you too.
You will get warmer with me,
So leave B alone with his work"

"Who said that?"

It is me. Mala.

St Kabeer Couplets 15: Prayer Is No Ritual

For ages man turns prayer beads,
Mind roams the ritual as proceeds,
From fingers turning prayer bead,
O let your mind lead, not recede.
________________________________

Mala pherata juga bhaya, phira na mana ka pher,
Kara ka manaka dara de, mana ka manaka pher.

There is no point in chanting mechanically with the help of rosary beads, when the mind is not in what you do. Mind is a monkey, this couplet means to say. Let your heart and soul be in whatever worship you do, or else it is useless. The poet has used a pun when he says: mana ka manaka…the beads of mind. Elsewhere also Kabeer has used some imaginative puns in his couplets.

Broken Tapestry

Oh how I wish…
If someone can knit back my tapestry in me
I will be in all my glee;
For it’s long overdue.
The fine lines are fading and the cords are fraying.
Heavier loads are weighing me down and I can’t seem to get back on track.
Yes, they are so heavy on my back,
I long for the day when I didn’t lack,
When all my tapestry was intact.

So time is fading,
The body is changing,
I am not the same I used to be.
Oh I could remember not so long ago,
When I was so fine-tuned;

I could play all day long.
Now the aches and pains flood my mind,
Keeping me back from the things I dream to do
I’m so tired now, can’t seem to hide it anymore.

Bended and broken,
Old and grey, worn and torn,
Is this body still on display;
Still moving on, still pressing on,
But holding on to the joy and peace
Of the hope that’s indwelling in me.

O Beautiful Saviour, what treasures in me,
Living in Jesus, your glory is seen,
You can use me, broken as can be,
Till I am finally set free!

Clean vessels made of snow and powder dust
softly lifting from the gaze of the wind
Gentle hands rising towards the heavenly realm
Soft as the rain on a spider web in the early morning dawn
silky as the waters of the Meridian sea
Song of the lark reaching across the meadows of your mind
even the angels are grazing the portals of human kind
Eyes wide open, heart agape, soul enamored
mala beads gently clacking awakening the presence
into the field of green we go to find the burnished ambers
of yesterday's lifetime glows
where we will end up , nobody knows
and so the feeling grows, and so the feeling goes
into those beautiful vessels of ours,
made of powder dust and snow.
Purity of mind, a precious find...

Premium MemberMy Zen Florida Vacation

Far away by the oceanside I sit and watch the seagulls fly
inside a pale orange sun that has yet to warm a reposing sand
Over by the boardwalk the air still hums of yesterday's feet
two youngsters feeding pelicans perched on feathered height

The smell of fried shrimp coming out of a windowless kitchen
tall glass pina colada bottles with little umbrellas inserted in
down by the ocean the burgundy traces of a latent sun arrives
as we sip slowly, and eat quietly, atop the hotel peer

Its as if it happened yesterday but I can still smell the French fries
wrapped in plaid red and white paper drenched in crisping oils
Pungent odors of chlorinated water from the pool now all gone
replaced by freshly shampooed hair, and lingering sun tan lotion

Wearing a linen white dress and my recently purchased mala beads
I feel more Zen in my pinky today then I felt in a lifetime my friend
far away by that ocean it was the perfect vacation without any fear
when I stop to think of it I hope to return there some time next year.

Falha

Falha

Desde sempre,
cada ser humano
carrega duas malas
cheias de pedidos
para fazer mais e mais,
uma na frente
e outra atrás.

A mala da frente contém
os pedidos endereçados
à outras pessoas
a que está atrás as suas
possibilidades de
fazer mais e mais.

Premium MemberGunas of Light and Love

Tamas
I began in my mother's womb where darkness clothed me
still carrying taste of death upon my tongue I suckled and kicked free
there were dancing lights and tears in the Universe gathering me to life
it didn't take long I did forget, I pierced the veil and wailed like a knife
Rajas:
I drank the nectar of the wild flower consumed the salinity of my goods
entered into karma like a Gita in a wave of passion, no longer was I wood
pulsing into life I sipped the juices of my passion and enjoyed the rays
with third eye open I was guided through my living numbered days
Sattva:
Like a pear tree laden with heavy fruit, life began to take its toll
like Saraswati I let go, then held on to a mala and a palm leaf scroll
swept away by a joy so pure, I found the core of love's own goal
there was nothing else I needed so I climbed the lotus of extol

All lies melted away in the face of truth and revelation ,
I lost myself in worship, became a sweet oblation.

All Hallows Eve

Halloween was once celebrated
on November 1st not faded
I adore both days for gala
intuition finds Mala

I celebrate it as All Saints Day
I'm vegan and would have nothing slain
even if it wasn't against the law
that would be that final straw

Fall equinox is here
that means the winter solstice is drawing near
on this day I put a sliced apple under a tree
for wildlife here in Tennessee

I'm not a witch if some do wonder
I just consider earth my true mother

I've climbed the monkey-sided mountains
overlooking Rishikesh;
a spill of Rishis in the granite bowl below,
each with callous, with incense, with their
various beggaries...each sweet-tongued with
prasad.

I've bent to kiss a broken man;
my lips on his toes, his laugh in my ear.
Antarayaami statuary all around.
Japa mala japa mala japa mala;
Namostute.

I've tucked my frame under
a stories-filled and stories high
Hanuman; folded myself into
a Room of Song. Chalisa after
Chalisa for hundreds of years.
The pilgrims and flowers, the
ghee candles and Sri Ram Sri Ram
Jai Jai
Rams.

I've sought myself. I've sought the selfless.
I've made friends with both.
I've come home dusty only to
be Lost.
I've come home refreshed only to
be Lost.

The Names, the mantras.
The Bhajan, the Ganges.
None had Answers for me.
Each had answers for me.
None had Questions for me.
Each had nothing for me.

And so I bow.
I thank.
Each.
Every.
One.

I thank One.

Zule

I, the end of man
The son of Mala
The offspring of Lamia
I care not for testaments
Ripping out the crimson hearts
They lie freshly dead
I kill all there angels
Crush their halo’s, falling fragments, down to the Earth
With Hellish hate, from my father’s seed, my mother womb
My perverse gallivant, spreads death
I feel ecstasy, I am voyeur with darkest dread
I, the pulse of existing burning fate
Crushing the skulls of sapphire lyre
I am the act of god
An act of a true god
Myriad morals shall fall in the unbridled dusk
As darkness grows, my craving for your demise becomes starved
The dead will surge
Nothing will ever collide with my throne
I am redefined nectar of massacre
The principles of odious made my flesh
Drowning life in my Imperium infliction
Butchering all that you can loose
I fabricate a graveyard of dead corpses
The cause of incubus and lioness genocide
Weaving the art of my craft
Tearing Heaven and Earth to asunder
