Love Lies Bleeding Poems - Poems about Love Lies Bleeding

Love Lies Bleeding, Dreams Breaking On the Sea

Constant sorrow, longing heart
A wounded soul that wishes to help
A sickened body that cannot die
Hating the physical condition
Yearning for the healing staff

Wishing I could help, knowing my body is sickly
Yearning and hoping my strength returns soon
Like a dream upon the sea of stars

Hurting the heart when my lover,
Doesn't believe my capacities

Love Lies Bleeding

By Parizo Van Thulare

No more feelings to spare
No more good times to share
Not even tears to shed
Nor Kisses to spread
One's heart is blur
One's mind turned to a fur
These pictures are the ones to stare
Rewinding memories when love was found

Amaranthus weeps in Summer's first burning.
Tears hang suspended from a fracturing heart.
Lost vermillion dreams leave memories churning,

My Love Lies Bleeding (Part Ii)

I turn and run down to the wet places where fawns remedy their
thirst from the waterbrooks. Panting, I fall to my knees and gather buttercups,
crowsfoots, hellebore and peonies and grind the crimson, white, yellow and
purple petals atop a stone. I brush the crushed blossoms into a straight trumpet
with

My Love Lies Bleeding (Part I)

My love lies bleeding among the meadowbeauties, purple,
entangled by hairy caltrop around her delicate feet and ankles. Climbing upward,
its thistled fruit prick my fingers and palms; as I unsnarl the dodder from her full
lips, its stems strengthen around her sultry paps and loins, and the binds tighten
around her slender arms and
