Premium MemberWhere is the Love

Take a look around the world
people hurting everywhere you look
I ask you where is the love
Today stop think before you speak
Then love can really leak
out to the person hurting on the street

Friends no longer friends
Why is this , because loves gone away
Once walked hand n hand
Now can't look each other in the eye
Children treated cruelly too
Everyone is seeking to be loved

Will you make a difference my friend
And let your love send
Out to others who seek it so much
We can make a difference today
Stopping hurt, chasing blues away
Reach out and touch somebody's heart today

Premium Member" You Got A Friend"

When storms get tumultuous and
Shadows press on your mind.

I stay on my toes, never slithering
From my stance.

I talk to you strong until your
Lights aligned

And walk you through whatever
Predicament.

I keep your self- beliefs loaded

And shield your inner vigor

Premium MemberTrick Questions

Trick Questions

Our heads are round
so our thoughts can
change direction- but
that sometimes means
going around and around
in never ending circles

we can start again any time
Distance and time permitting
unless we punch a hole in these
distant walls that are separating us

I truly want to see her again and again
I really do remember her and regret
ever saying that I don't

Trick questions sometimes get wrong answers
Especially on bright sunny days regardless
of location and time of year

Premium MemberI Cannot Turn Away

Arms entwined
Body pressed against body
Lips engaging lips
Thighs in a bind-
I cannot turn away- so -
Instead, I say, " Will you two, please get a room"

Premium MemberFelica

FELICA

Felica, Felica
I cannot help even dreaming
of you my friend

It has been many hard years
But I would be honored to full fill
your long awaited unfulfilled
birthday wish

Problem is we are far apart-
I am not sure where you are
but imagine it's still Redding
and I am beyond Oregon-so if
you could come to me.................
I might some day visit where you are
However, this is uncertain
Nevertheless, I am constantly looking for you
my brown eyed brunette doll!

Premium MemberUnconditional Love

Are you always there for your friends
Can they depend on you
Or don't you care about others
When trouble and strife happens
Do you walk away, or stay
Life can get tough, we need each other
We need that hug
Be that kind of friend, who really cares
Unconditional love is the answer
World is crazy, gripped by fear
Friends need friends to stay near
We all need love, so share a smile today

Premium MemberA Soul That's Hungry and Never Well-Fed

A soul that's hungry and never well-fed,
is always searching for something much greater,
a great love whose meaning is ne'er misread,
or destiny whose time arrives much later.

In God and thee I find a hopeful fate,
a future that restores a quiet grace,
and moments in time's endless, flowing state;
where I embrace your beauty's radiant face.

But if the heavens and the stars above,
and all the world were drowned in seas of gloom,
my lines still live forever in thee, my love,
beyond end of days, beyond even doom!

If love transcends all seasons and all times,
then your spring lives on in all of my rhymes.

Premium MemberWhen Luck and Fortune Flee From My Own Soul

When luck and fortune flee from my own soul,
and then disaster overwhelms my hope,
and hunger consumes the meal in my bowl,
and poverty and debt hinder my scope,

then I wish myself more rich in spirit,
in wisdom and character more complete,
with God's forgiveness now to inherit,
and grace in place of ruin and defeat.

But I reflect on our time spent together,
that spring we made love under a domed sky
(those happy days seemed to live on forever).
Despair now gone, I sing and let joy fly.

As you now live on in my sonnet's measure,
may all men find in you time's endless treasure.

Premium MemberYour Stunning Beauty, Which Intensely Burns

Your stunning beauty, which intensely burns,
     warms all of earth's creatures and provides hope;
your glow emits from you by natural turns,
and your rays of life have fresh, boundless scope.

Your young dazzling face, radiant in form,
     brilliantly shines like the raw, yellow sun;
and your halo, like an electric storm,
lights up all though your heart's meant just for one.

But Sappho, Tenth Muse, fades before your light.
     Her verses dim beside your living flame;
your beauty makes her ancient words burn bright,
and poets find in you their truest name.

Let doubt be silenced by this single line:
of all the Muses, Rose, you are divine.

Premium MemberFor Thee I Shall Be Strong

My dear, like the fragrant bloom, thou art health
and beauty to my soul, and blood to my
dry veins and starving marrow such free wealth
of life which for joy grateful eyes do cry.

Beloved, though far removed from me in years,
     and distant in miles, thou art near in heart;
so, love is here and sorrow disappears,
for in spirit we're never far apart.

But though I'm exalted by your rare mind,
and find comfort in your warm words of love,
for which I treasure and so must remind
myself, that we shall always rise above.

Though I am weak, for thee I shall be strong,
my love, for we will triumph before long.

Premium MemberBeing Grateful

I hope heaven has pizza parlors, and little establishments with local craft beers. And jukeboxes with hits from the 50's. And good Italian ices. And drive-ins, and moonlight canoeing. And And And.............. The best of earth would be heaven enough for me.

Sixteen years since she entered my life
Fourteen years ago she became my wife
At any age love it can bloom
Opened my heart for her, love I made room

Fourteen years ago she became my wife
As well as much love we are also great friends
Opened my heart for her i made room
Any challenges we sit and just talk

As well as much love we are also great friends
At any age love it can bloom

Premium MemberTo Help Out Friends

To help out friends, it never hurts; a salve that comforts and diverts their pain with hope it heals and mends. It never hurts to help out friends. Lifting their cheer by words or deeds that help those downed with woeful needs. A little kindness will endear by words or deeds, lifting their cheer. With heartfelt calm, we'll soothe their souls. Warm, loving acts can soon extol that thoughtful kindness is the balm. We'll soothe their souls with heartfelt calm. Kind acts are blessed, both large and small and, for some time, can please, enthrall. Lift heavy loads for those distressed. Both large and small, kind acts are blessed.
