The Day We Meet

Here I sit, my chair I sink,
My Switch on dock, awaiting charge,
Cool and quiet, and here I think,
How cool it'd be, dreaming large,

The day we meet, we kiss and hug,
We'll lay on the bed, and give our heart,
Our eyes we look, it pulls and tugs,
I just hope, I don't have to fart.

Permission to Stay

Tell you something
Something funny in it itself because
It doesn't sound to make sense.
I intentionally keep around you because
Deep down inside something tells me
"Someday it's going to have to be me to save you"
And I just want to be around you until that day
That's why I stay
Even when you turn a blind eye on me
Even when I pretend to be silent
I still want to be there
Be there around you
Be it in the least possible ways that I can.

Premium MemberMissing You

It's a funny
 strange thing
When you're not around

Like the lack
 of a smile
On a circus clown

Or a ferris wheel,
 With all empty seats
a candied apple, More tart than sweet

Like a merry-go-round
 That looks kind of scary
Or that huge prize teddy
 You're not here to carry

An amusement park, On a winters day

And as long as you're gone
That's the way it will staaaaaaay

LOVE AND LIFE

Love has no rhythm or rhyme.
It strikes anytime.
It is like lightning coming from the sky.
It hits a person straight out of line.
It can come from far away, or by just looking at a photograph.
It can come from someone close by.
It can be someone we would never pick.
It knows no age or time.
It only makes our heart beat quick.
It can make us have great excitement and give us a feeling of utopia.
Our love can give us many feelings that only true love can.
We can feel a lot from our love, and this is a perfect type of love.
If you find love like this, hold it near and dear for life.

I would give everything I own
Give up my hat, toupee, and comb
I would give everything I own
Just to scratch your back again.

Longing for cake

New love is like wanting to go home
And longing all day

Longing, for that last piece of cake
You left in the fridge to stay

Waiting for you and
Giving joy with every bite

And it tastes even better
Because you’ve thought about it all night

And just like new love, there’s also uncertainty
Will it still be there?

You say to yourself, “Please let it be,”
“Don’t be eaten or expired, don’t you dare.”

You must let go, keep a little faith
But hold space for the possibility
That there’s no cake, nor another date

Premium MemberI Love, I Love To Love

I love, I love
Yes, I love to love
Like a genius in love
Like a fool in deep love
I love like no one ever loves
Like I love watching the doves
Drifting up and down in the sky
Below and above the clouds
Whether the weather is wet or dry
Below and far away from the clouds.

It is not a mistake to love
It is serious experience
Even though there’s no difference
Like a genius in love
Like a fool in deep love
I love, I love
Yes, I love to love.

Premium MemberButterfly Kisses

You told me I belong to you
That you know I love you true
But darling I’m not a succulent plant
What’s a chocolate woman to do

Love is enough you said
That’s pretty in song and poem
But when you leave my bed
Why do I feel amber alone

Loving you is like static shock
As long as we have connection
I need more than my body to rock
Even deeper than spiritual oppression

Is this bond we have despite fact
I left you emotionally when indeed
You ignored little things that
Mean so much to me

Maybe our season is done
And the reason is life is short and crazy
Would love you in moon in sun
Butterfly kisses and hot love making

But again it’s not enough
And I have two new men admirers
Neither may have your touch
But I will find out what time desires

Premium MemberPrecious Memories

Do you smile when you read these?
Does your heart do funny things
Like mine does when you text me
Or when I hear you sing?

Do you like all the recordings
With the crazy things I say?
Do you sometimes think about me
Here and there each day?

Do you wish upon a shooting star?
Do you down a rainbow slide?
Do you land into a pot of gold?
I do, you're at my side

Do you think about a moment
When these dreams will be no more
Where we're making precious memories
Of the things we've held in store?

The first thing I'll experience?
I'll finally get to kiss
Your lips with all expedience
I've dreamt and dreamt of this

Premium MemberLonging

Love made me high
Then when it did die
Made me cry
Thought love was there to stay
But it is just a game people play
Promises made to be broken
Are words of love spoken
Till love is awoken
Hearts desire
Loves fire
A soft gentle touch
Not asking for much
A hand to hold and such
Lost but looking
No love for the booking
A star in the eye
A tear that you cry
Empty arms longing to hold
Words of love never gets told
Souls grow old
Longing for something new
Someone true
But you find there is no one for you
Words I long to hear
I fear
Are lost to the past
So the lonely does last
The older I grow
The age starts to show
I know
Love will never be mine
That light won't shine
I hold my heart tight
Love I fight
Love I will never gain
Love is a stain
Why is this something I want
Just another dream that will come back to haunt
So here I go
Alone is all I know
All I have to show
Is broken hearts never mend
Loves fires always end
The end of belief
The start of grief
Pain
Rain
Gives your heart a life long stain
Love makes you sad
And that's just to bad
I shed a tear
Cause no one is near
Love I fear
Will never be
That's what I see

Graveyard Cook

The short order cook is getting delirious at five in the morning
Beads of sweat showing under his funny hat
As he stares blankly at the eight new orders on the wheel,
And wonders when the drunks
Will all have enough and go home.
	I’m one of the drunks
		From a short order night
	The band was hot
		And the girls were swingin
But alas I finally walk out with no easy over lady.

	And the waitress,
		Scrambled yellow blond,
	Takes my order
And adds it to the wheel.
More beads of sweat from the short order cook.
And he yells
	“HERE’S YOUR ORDER STUPID”
	to the scrambled yellow waitress.
		“DON’T CALL ME STUPID!”
	But she knows
He’ll give her
biscuits and gravy after it’s all over.
	But in the meantime
	It’s the drunks
On the other side of the counter
	From this short order night

			Eggs over easy
			Pigs in a blanket
			Hash browns and toast
			Heartache and coffee

Yea, the short order cook plows on
	And knows
That the nine orders on the wheel
	Will not cook themselves.

He’s been on the other side too.

A Love Letter

Oh sweet nothing, I really miss you
Just putting one foot on the table, or two
If I could just sink in to this sofa and stew
Oh sweet nothing, I do so miss you

What if you could see me now?
Running in circles like a professional greyhound
You’d not know me, life’s so loud
Oh sweet nothing, if you could see me now.

Dolce Far Neinte, I appreciate you the most
Once taken for granted, now as abstract as a ghost.
Just one small taste, of not making haste
I just need some space to slow down with grace.

Oh sweet nothing, I will always remember
Time to myself, to douse the embers
My goal will be to have a peaceful September,
Wish me luck, sweet nothing, and we’ll be together

Jester

Love is like the sun,
Is this saying true?
Then crushes are like the moon,
This I believe do you?

I blushed at your every movement,
To be honest I stalked.
Reminiscing every little moment,
Shared in every little place.

Your long legs I do admire,
Eyes as fine as wine.
Lips as pink as roses,
Fingers long and slender.

Sometimes in my dreams you appear,
Other times in nightmares you come.
But thoughts of you light me up,
Full of bliss I become.

To you am shy to talk.
Over you do I swoon.
Sometimes forgetting how to walk,
Making myself a complete fool.

I daydream of you,
In our own love paradise,
Laying in your embrace,
Being showered with gentle caresses.

My girlfriends tell me its not love,
That it is childish infatuation.
But I call them liars,
And always walk away.

I sing songs with your name,
In my head obviously,
Even formed a ship name,
JESTER to represent our love.

But sometimes I get caught up,
That I often forget ,
That this is one sided,
That you don't even know I exist.

I hope you notice me one day,
I pray my first kiss is you.
And my heart will finally be calm
And my mind as clear as day.

Premium MemberNothing To Hide

It's been years since I've seen you
At least that's what it seems
And it doesn't count really
When I see you in dreams

Although dreams serve their purpose
They're the only place where
I can act on my longings
And tell you right there

How much that I love you
While you're there in my arms
And I can be who I am
And I can show you my charms

I can be really funny
I can make you laugh hard
I can show you the real me
Til you let down your guard

And allow me to see
Who you are inside
And be yourself too
With nothing to hide

Nervous

I get nervous when I'm around you
That's why my eyes scan the room
Even if its just you and me there
Cause I can't just bring myself to make a move

I get all chilled from my hands
And my legs sit glued to that chair
While all I do is avoid your stare
Cause I'm afraid to respond it

I get jitters and my heart melts
In anticipation of something I'm having doubts
It's like I didn't know what to expect
Like it's all happened too fast for me

My hands are sweaty I tell myself
So I keep them in my pants
That only makes it worse
Cause now eyes shift to the bulge
