Butterfly Kisses

You told me I belong to you
That you know I love you true
But darling I’m not a succulent plant
What’s a chocolate woman to do

Love is enough you said
That’s pretty in song and poem
But when you leave my bed
Why do I feel amber alone

Loving you is like static shock
As long as we have connection
I need more than my body to rock
Even deeper than spiritual oppression

Is this bond we have despite fact
I left you emotionally when indeed
You ignored little things that
Mean so much to me

Maybe our season is done
And the reason is life is short and crazy
Would love you in moon in sun
Butterfly kisses and hot love making

But again it’s not enough
And I have two new men admirers
Neither may have your touch
But I will find out what time desires

Karen, what a quandary! In particular, I enjoyed "What's a chocolate woman to do?" Time and perseverance will ultimately yield a result, as you correctly assert.

Try those other guys. They say you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince. This is an enjoyable read!

Oh no, not two more Karen. You are in a dilemma. I hope you make the right choice. Tom

Time will solve the dilemma Tom. The one I have been with 3 years before these two new ones thinks he will just be patient. Lol but that will get old! I’m starting to value my independence more lol.
