Speeches On Different Occasions

We always eulogize a child on his birth
We also eulogize a person on his death
On both occasions he is unable to appreciate the praise
At birth he is unable to understand the words
At death his ears are unresponsive to the sound
Why do we always say good things on these occasions?

Must we confine our eulogy only to these occasions?
A child doesn’t understand our words at the time of his birth
So it doesn’t matter whatever our words may sound
The logic isn’t the same for a person on his death
We have an innate fear that his spirit is hearing our words
We wish to impress the spirit by using words of praise

Why should we impress the spirit with words of praise?
There is a belief that the spirit will leave after such occasions
Some believe that the spirits are not influenced by words
Our fate after death depends on all our deeds after birth
All good deeds will be rewarded by the Creator after death
Fate is not decided on words irrespective of how it may sound

It is impossible to infer true feelings from how the words sound
We often pretend to please others by telling words of praise
These pretensions are useless when hearing ability ceases on death
But may be fruitful when spoken to others on different occasions
It is ineffective when the sense of hearing is undeveloped at birth
The generation of feelings depends upon how we express the words

Human relations depend on how we express our feelings in words.
Expressions, conveying different feelings, are said in a varying sound
The effectiveness is lost when conveyed to a child at birth
Damaged human relations can be repaired through words of praise
The appropriate expressions must be chosen to suit the occasion
Feelings and expressions must amalgamate in the occasion of death

One of the most solemn occasions in life is that of death
While expressing feelings we carefully select the words
The choice of words matches the vibes of the occasions
The speeches are characterized by a particular sound
On such occasions we forget our true feelings and praise
Ebullient feelings are aroused on the occasion of birth

The strength of a relationship is expressed by the identity of the sound
The effectiveness of the expressions rest on the choice of words
Alas! The only expressions a child has are cries at birth

Blinken's List

Today, we saw the handwriting of imperialism
On the walls of our democracy
Today, our sovereignty is on the scaffold,
Pilloried by a white supremacist,
Who threatened our country and her people.

Mr Secretary has written a long list
Threatening our leaders from venturing on their soil;
A proclaimed God's own country,
Where God really does not matter,
But desires that are too alien for a normal thinking mind.

On Blinken's List
Are names of men who bear our names and culture
And the Africanness that we portray.
We are no second-class people
Whose leaders can be threatened by the power of arms by America.

Blinken wrote to teach us right from wrong
But right in His backyard, more evil looms,
The US election is under scrutiny,
The Texas shooting is still fresh in our minds.

Blinking or Blinken
Mr. Secretary, stop blinking
For we are wise enough to know your inkling;
The lands you have ravaged,
And the people that have gone back to the dust,
Through the power of ammunitions you wield,
In Afghanistan and Iraq
And your love for the zionist oppressor.

A Visa Ban
One meant for your barn
And your land which will
Never be close to the beauty of paradise.
We no longer believe in you and your values
And we have no resources for you and your cronies to loot.

Tell us what good is in your country;
Hell packaged in a pleasure box
Sought by those ready to be doomed,
All your men are fast becoming women
In the name of being gay.
And your fallen dollar value
Should be a headache from the BRICS.

Tell us what is good about your land,
The drugs and the constant shootings that have become a norm,
The vices and the oppression of which your castles were built
Are issues enough for your table.

We are Africans
We are a people of worth
Who will never bow to any bully,
We are a loving people
And we can't be forced to roam our streets like your naked ones.
The days of colonisation have passed,
We can no longer accept your acts of re-colonization,
Through your list of deceit,
Where our professors are being pummelled
And our leaders are being accused
Of a crime which they never committed.

Like you have traitors
We have the treacherous
For we are a people of varying tribes
And of sages and scribes
And we also have a right
To stop you from stepping on our soil.

Water

Water moves continually Over land, evaporation and transpiration
common chemical substance
essential to all forms of life
the substance has a solid state, ice,
and a gaseous state, water vapor.
About 1,460 teratonnes (Tt) of water covers 71% of the Earth's surface,
in oceans and other large water bodies,
with 1.6% of water below ground in aquifers
and 0.001% in the air as vapor,
clouds (formed of solid and liquid water particles suspended in air),
and precipitation.
Can cause hurricanes when global warming extends
entire villages left submerged as in people's streets
submeerged.

Earth's water is contained
within man-made and natural objects
near the Earth's surface as water towers,
animal and plant bodies, manufactured products, and food stores.
Water moves continually
Saltwater oceans hold ing 97% of surface water,
glaciers and polar ice caps 2.4%,
and other land surface water such as rivers and lakes 0.6%.
Water moves continually
Water moves continually through a cycle of evaporation or transpiration,
precipitation, and runoff, reaching the sea.

Water moves continually over land
Winds carry water vapor over land
at the same rate as runoff into the sea,
about 36 Tt per year.
Over land, evaporation and transpiration
contribute another 71 Tt per year to the precipitation
of 107 Tt per year over land.
Some water is trapped
for varying periods in ice caps, glaciers, aquifers, or in lakes,
providing fresh water for life on land.

Clean, fresh water is essential to human and other life.
In many parts of the world, it is in short supply.
Many organic molecules as well as salts, sugars,
acids, alkalis, and some gases (especially oxygen), are soluble in water.
Water is essential for all life on Earth.

Humans can survive for several weeks without food,

June 6 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Psalms 78-82

Key Verse – Psalm 78:7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY HOPE UPHOLDER

Lord God, You are my hope Upholder,
valuing my words of supplication
Thank You for vitalizing me with Your might to vanquish sin and temptation
Very powerful are Your commands for my commission…
Voluntarily, I submit to You, the Author of my salvation.

Lord God, You are my hope Upholder,
vindicating my soul from hell’s devouring
Thank You for leading me with Your guidance along Your caring
Very loving is Your pardon that cleanses me with Your nurturing…
Vocally, I praise You, my Saviour of deliverance-bearing.

Lord God, You are my hope Upholder,
validating my satisfaction in Your fullness
Thank You for pouring unto me Your blessings of goodness
Very bountiful are Your provisions for my wellness…
Visibly, I come to You, enjoying Your compassion’s greatness.

Lord God, You are my hope Upholder,
verifying my motives against fleshly defilements
Thank You for forgiving me of my confessed sin-entanglements
Very strong is Your might that braces me against iniquity-engagements…
Victoriously, I cling to You as You enable my accomplishments.

Lord God, You are my hope Upholder,
varying my challenges for my stirred-up trials
Thank You for fortifying me to overcome hardships of personal denials
Very timely are Your answers I can’t measure in several vials…
Vigilantly, I beseech You to empower me for my faith-portrayals.

Lord God, You are my hope Upholder,
vouching my integrity by Your redemption-glow
Thank You for imparting to me Your wisdom along instructions I must follow
Very lawful is Your justice in defending me from deceits’ blow…
Valiantly, I serve You, my Almighty Sovereign from where my supplies flow.

Lord God, You are my hope Upholder,
visiting my heart for my pleasant testimony
Thank You for teaching me to walk along Your truth, whether sunny or rainy
Very assertive are Your counsels that brace me up despite troubles so many…
Vibrantly, I seek You, meditating Your Word, sweeter than honey.

As deepening silence and stillness become our fulcrum
We cognise an energy grid dividing form vertically
We flow with awareness at the pivot of the pendulum
Whilst witnessing the meridian coming to life magically!

Our attention now internalised unendingly meditating
We feel all chakras resonating with the life force
Frequency of each node varying and yet blending
With the reverberation Ohm emanating from the source

Slowly becoming empty within with the pulse of love we align
Boundaries between form and formlessness begin to blend
Our emptiness rich in fullness of elixirous magnetism divine
The residual ego we have now pliable begins to bend

The soma nectar flow increases in potency as of our worship
It is irrelevant to speculate or debate as to its origin
The upper ovoid of Ajna-Sahasrara-Bindu combine in partnership
To enrich our being with vitality and tranquility sanguine

In timeless time the Universe opts to reactivate & renew
The fused unity of kundalini seated at the crown humming
Thus Hiranyagarbha, the cosmic egg splits into two
Shiva & Shakti descend into their abode in heart entwining

Following the union there is then an explosion in slow motion
Teleporting us into climaxical ecstasy & rapture ineffable
The omnipotent burst of power manifesting as bliss celebration
Root to crown ignited & alive as the rod of initiation! A miracle!

The blissful energy benign and yet roaring with full power
It seems that fragile form cannot contain the energy
Yet the gentle curve of unfolding the divine grace shower
Aligns all lifetrons within in beauteous synergy

Energy heightened at chakra zones and alive throughout the grid
Unknown centres and nadis open up as we look on in wonder
In acceptant doerless childlike simplicity we just do as we are bid
Being to become one with bliss in permanence; the soundless thunder!

This phase of consolidation becomes an embodiment of our being
Bliss within always ceaselessly purring
From time to time as of choiceless choice it begins roaring
Be it day or night, such is is-ness of blossoming

Thus we see that at the heart we began
With a simple burning yearning
Give kundalini any name, it’s power Brahman spans
Finally within the cave of heart humming

Take Me Away But I Promise To Sing a Song

NOTE: I have placed this Poem as a Video Poem also on
http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=100001219732381

[ This Poem is dedicated to Freedom of Expression
and Tibetan Dharma Guru Shri Dalai Lama to support
his struggle for the cause of Freedom of Expression ]

IMP. NOTE: Now the Poem cum Song "Take Me Away but..."can be heard on my Radio Air Play Radio Station of Radio Jango.com in 'Ravindra K kapoor Radio'

Take me away but I promise to sing a Song

Take me away from such a place,
Where feelings and emotions,
cannot be freely expressed.

Where new thoughts and ideas are crushed,
By the rod of power and corrupts.

Where mind do not get the opportunity to reveal,
its vast sea of beauty and varying colors.

Where love never flies freely in the sky,
while touching the unexplored lofty heights, and
wings of Poetry are nipped in the buds,
before they bloom and spread their smiles.

Where wind do not flow,
while touching the flowers and buds,
Where the butterflies do not have the freedom,
to show their varying moods and colors.

Where faiths have lost their grandeurs and glow, and
shrines are converted into suffocating barracks.

Where love has lost its magic of moving a heart,
to sing a song and dance on the call of its soul,
Where a vast sea of humans live,
without the freedom of expression.

Take me away from such a land and place,
Where people live in chains under iron curtains.

I promise I will come back to this land one day,
when the breeze will flow freely touching every heart,

When its people will have the freedom to fly on their wings,
I promise I will come back, to such a place one day,

When animals too would move without fear in their hearts, and
birds would be free to fly anywhere in the sky.

When the morning dew would greet the new rising Sun,
By glittering without fear, its silver and golden beams,
When flowers and buds would freely spread,
their alluring wings and fragrance in the air.

When the human mind would be free to explore and express,
its ideas and colors on the canvas of paper.

I promise I will come to such a land one day,
to Sing the song of joy and mirth.

She Thinks She Is a Flamingo

Okies silly one now I want a verse about an old broad who thought she was a flamingo!
(BIG SMILES Thank you for the fun challenge!)

“She Thinks She is a Flamingo”

“Me hablo espanol.”
Yes, you heard it right.
I speak Spanish. My feathers?
Oh, beautiful, the gracious sight.
Long. Fluffy. Pink. Bright!
I am not just any flamingo.
Although I do speak…
Flamingo lingo.
I am Chilean born.
Never am I forlorn.
Seldom in control...
See! “Me hablo espanol.”
Are my bloodlines pure?
Why do you ask?
Am I totally sure?
Finding out is NOT my task!
Gallivanting in Galapagos.
Extinction was the rave.
Feathers? No!
Permanent wave!
Lying on the beach.
Tying my tie.
It was almost out of reach.
Use good manners and speech.
Fresh shrimp in a bowl!
“Si! Me hablo espanol.”
Does it really matter?
Bring me another platter!
Oo la, la! Or yeah, yeah! YEAH!
I just want to say.
I’m flying to a party.
Good Ole U.S.A…
I love to boogie-woogie.
But the Cha-cha is in my veins!
On one leg, I tried to prance.
Did you say, “Dance?”
The shrimp I love to eat
Make a very special treat.
They turn my fluffy feathers bright.
But never stink my feet.
What is the link?
Bring me the mirror.
I want to see myself clearer.
Wild hat! Sun glasses!
A little bit fat! What say you?
I am NOT a flamingo?
Then, what? No! Not the jacket, again!
Again? Ha, ha, ha, ha…
She thinks, therefore she is...
NOT a flamingo!!!

Fun, silly challenge accepted! How did I do?

NOTE: Thankfully, my pain medicines end. Post-op medications did not send me this far out
there. Sadly, however, there are people in the world who really do SUFFER from endless
mental delusions and other mental illnesses in varying degrees of severity. We must keep
them in our prayers. Mental illness can be very debilitating. Although this was written with
fun in mind, reality must NEVER be ignored. God help us remember, respect, and show forth
love to our fellowman in need. I LOVE YOU SOUPERS! My days are uplifted because of your
creative wisdoms and kindnesses. Poems are good for the world. SMILES belong to each
one of you. Lovingly,
Dane Ann

Bad Breeding

the list that was a fist
a) it is possible
b) it is inevitable
chained to a million pleasures
an astonishing compendium of compulsions
honed bright with a fool's ardor
the kind you'd wish for in a movie script
undulating at the tar pits of amor
the land rich with autographs
bruised and humiliated reciting the alphabet
backwards on the curb with Officer *****
a limited perspective but not without its ironies
blazing trails to metabolic equilibrium
using every crutch and cane there is
to seek out and embrace ignorance
in a fanciful play of medieval shadows
colliding with the grace of mosh pit elbows
and that pretty much nails it
the rest is a problem of amplification
if looking can blind you I'm blind
he seems to have a button gone missing
ripe to the skies with the stink of deduction
hell was upon us and none grieved
in statistically relevant numbers
apparently they had finally reached
the bottom of the barrel
we still wage war upon feudalism
good advice for any century or cemetery
touch something holy once in a while
and mighty Thor will wing above
ah sure right uh huh you bet
needing humor the wires tried to sing
the blades of the switch bit the anode
all is broadcast everywhere right now
on all the boogie woogie coordinates
how's that for karmic indifference
some curse some utter gratitude
may the good fairy console you
and turn the illusion of warmth
up a little higher
since it hasn't yet been made a crime
to destroy your own mind
until the foundations of the world
thunder and come apart like cooked meat
but working on the problem
is better than nothing
even if you really don't know
all that you think you know
even if hideously scarred in battle
a terra cotta bust hot from the oven
smelling of sulfur and bruises
tempted by radiance and music and poetry
which could get you jailed tonight
so pretend you have wide angle vision
under a curse with an escape clause
in varying pedantic proportions
for another illegal exit
from Average and its Law
played to hI fives all around
kindling fires of rebellion
the Metaphor League saw to it
