The Universe is Whole

The Universe corrects itself

Each and every time

What seems to get out of hand

          To be too much

                    Extremities

Always reach a breaking point

And what is dark and bleak

Will eventually see the light

Though it comes in varying forms

          It will arrive

No matter how far you have gone

No matter how high you have risen

No matter how deep of hole you dug

No matter how bruised you have gotten

          The sun will rise

          The moon will set

          The storm will cease

          The fog will lift

To fix what is broken

And reset what is fixed

          All the while

The Universe keeps breathing

Great work! I have to read it over and over. Unfortunately, our generation and the people before us and certainly those coming after we are gone have refused to accept this universal truth and thus continued to fix this very world that is already complete in itself.
