Premium Member Ode To Mischief Lotus

My cat is a rescue me,
The abandonment of loneliness
He had his Forever Home promise
My love and affection were his.

See, he turns out to be,
Complete contentment we shared
Mutual grounds in battles, here
We did not care and laughed.

My cat was very special to me:
He was all that I had in this world.

He did love me a bunch, you see;
I loved him back even more
With this punch, I had shown.

He gave me a reason to live;
He started to grow and give
He greeted me every morning
He gave me his meow-to gear.

Until he was watered and fed;
He weighed twenty-five lbs
He was this big boy, instead!

As he was growing up:
I taught him to Box, indeed
Yes, you read that right, I say
I taught Mischief how to Box.

He would get up on his hind legs,
He gave a pawing jab
With his pawing punch
It is true he could Box.

Mischief grew over the years,
And we always had fun in tears
He had come to a spot in his life
It was our saddest one, we feared.

June 30th was the day;
Independence was here
He was playing around in the house
He lay under the air, basking him.

Then he came to the room,
He wanted to take a nap
Up in the window, he went
Not knowing it would be his last stint.

Then the next thing I knew,
He was dragging his legs
He cried with a bellowing pain in his voice
Mischief had a stroke that day.

In such a heartbreaking way,
For this cat to bear
I needed to relieve his pain.

I left him there for the night,
He was under sedation
I collapsed, walking away
He gave me such a fright.

July 1st came in,
He looked at me with a thirst
Then he kissed my hand, that he knew
And laid in my lap
We Loved Blue.

He wanted up to my shoulders,
Then give me this
One Lasting Hug
The vet had his cocktail treat waiting,

My Mischief Lotus,
Departs
Now He sleeps!

Oh, my heart aches for you;
Of the agonized pain he suffered
That bellowing, hurtful cry,

He is Free,
Now He Flys!

I know this grieving here will pass,
In its time indeed.

Rest In Peace,
My Lil Buddy
I Love You
One More Last Time!

"A tribute to the sorrow that brings us
the strength of undying love,
prevailing its light."

The Generation Gap 2

The Generation Gap

The fragile, flawless ice encased
the crumbling soil below
And with it brought bitter winter’s taste –
the seed that wouldn’t grow.

Many a foggy year ago,
the father had bought the plant
Had carried it, through the ice and snow,
to his little son’s wish, grant.

Once again, the son was staring, eyes hollow,
at the seed that could not be a winner,
Wondering if fruitless years would follow –
when his dad called him to dinner.

The father nodded at his presence,
hen lowered his head at the thing
Staring at the lifeless, immobile pleasance
ike a puppet on ends of a string.

Email after email - would the work never end?
His fingers flew across the screen.
At least the son’s phone would make up –
material had to be the dream of every teen.

The son accidentally brushed the screen
 and rock music exploded resounding
The dad jumped and yelled at the opposite teen
of the terribly insistent pounding.

The teen shouted horribly red-faced
that it was most heartbreakingly sad
That the rule he’d once taught - don’t work while you eat –
was forgotten by his dad.

The silence that hung impenetrable in the air
was broken by the sharp creak of chairs
As they were pushed back by the pair –
then the loud pound of feet on the stairs.

The dad shut himself into his room,
sucked in a lungful of air
Then lay down in the musty gloom
to, at his long-gone father’s photo, stare.

His young father winked at him through the glass,
a poster of James Dean on the wall
With a jolt he recalled that in the past
his father had loved James Dean’s bawl.

But then came the time when he grew mad
and screamed and yelled at stars
His father had then, disgusted, said,
that they should be put behind bars.

He stared off into the distant past,
staring at but not seeing the ceiling
Then drifted into determined dreams at last,
strong stirring emotions, feeling.

While the son gazed at a long-taken photo,
at the grinning father and son
Hand in hand and holding their motto –
“Our undying love makes us one”.

And he stared off into the inky black
at the far wall of his room
His heart seemed to jolt, and then to crack
as drops on his cheeks began to bloom.

He was once again gazing at the stubborn seed
when he was called for dinner, to eat

Mothers Day

This is being Written,Created,Composed and Conjured up from with the deepest
recesses of My Heart,My Mind,My Body and Soul. For A very Special Person In My life, My Mom.
My mother is no different than any other moms through out our entire universe But,to me She is
above all The most Beautifulest, loving, understanding, patient, caring, sym pathetic, sharing and
kind hearted women that I have ever Known. She's never a judge mental type of person. She's
always reasoning with me and showing me moral support, especially if I'm wrong and she's
always been there for me Standing Strong! Throughout my Trials and Tribulations of my life,
she'd give me her best advice and never steered me wrong. She'd always lift me up especially
when I was feeling down and Inspired me to never dwell on the past. But to pick myself up off the
ground and to keep my head up and keep moving on.She always assured me,that with the
Comming of dawn It'll be a Brand New day and Id have another Chance to Correct all of my
Wrongs!
Faith is the key she always taught me and she always tried to instill within me
Love,Trust,Honesty,Kindness,Courage,Strength and Integrity.I'd like to Hope and Pray that I was
the Ample of My Mothers eyes. But In Actuality and Reality I Always the Bad Apple Who fell Short
From Perfection In the Eyes of Society. But as loving as my is,she never faltered from Loving Me
Unconditionally.
as a Child I Remember Waking up in the middle of the night ,in a Cold Sweat and in an awful
Fright, moms would be right there Beside me Holding me Tight and Whispering Comforting
words to make everything alright.
My Mother is my Superwoman and I know deep down In my soul ,That I can always count on her
for she would Never leave me nor forsake me especially when It seemed like the whole world
ws about to come crashing in on me.
So on this Mother's Day, I'd like to fully Express my Undying Love and Sincerity's to a Number
One Mom Who Has done everything In her Power that one Person could ever do,To make not
only Me but Everyone else that she Has ever Encountered Or Touched through out Her Life's
History,As Happy and as Content as they Could Ever Be......So Thank You Very Much and I love
You My Mommy........

A Mother's Day Poem

                                    To my Aunt Betty
                                  A Repost From 2022

                              You loved me and accepted
                                    me, for who I am
                                  Loving unconditional
                                  I was your little lamb
                               And Auntie, though your
                                    womb was closed
                                No baby born as you'd
                                      once supposed
                               With the baby boomers

                                     Yet truest love,
                                     my Aunt to me
                                    The sweetest gift
                                      would ever be
                                  Your gift of love for
                                      each you knew
                                         Oh Auntie,
                                         your love
                                        was so true
                                      Though you're
                                 lifted from this sphere
                                        May angels
                                         bout' you
                                    Close and near
                             Whisper in your precious ear
                               BJ adores you Auntie dear
                                A whispered "Thank you!"
                                       From this heart
                              Undying love cannot depart
                                   May these words lift
                                           up to say
                                          Aunt Betty;
                                    Happy Mother's Day

Warriors in us,
When time comes, we fight our fiercest battle.

A dainty lass, cocooned by mother’s care,
and father’s protective arms,
grew up gleeful and merry, humming melodies and frolicking carefree
in the lap of bountiful nature,
Nobody told her she was the most captivating beauty ever existed!

But when a Prince trotted by, and caught glimpse of an exquisite vision,
he couldn’t but fall in love, with the breathtaking beauty, body and soul.
The Prince recognized his destiny, he was certain that this symbol of elegance, he was waiting for,
And didn’t waste a moment begging for her hand,
It all sounds surreal, sometimes life is stranger than fairytale.

The exquisitely alluring queen lived a blissful life with her King,
Until one day life brought something utterly tragic and unforeseen -
The young King left her alone in this world with an infant child.
The Princess became a real Queen,

not only occupying a jewel-encrusted throne, and wearing a tiara with Rubies and Diamonds,
safeguarding the country with a powerful hand, defending the needy and the weak.
In her twenties, she transformed herself into the protector of the land.

The demure, bashful Princess mustered her entire strength, her indomitable spirit,
She decided to turn herself  into the Warrior Queen, on a horseback,
wore a warrior suit, carried her husband’s sword.
It really happened, soon her land, her Jhansi, was attacked by foreign powers.

The Fighter Queen was undaunted and fearless,
her sole goal was to protect the people from the enemy relentless.
With blessings from her beloved parents, and undying love from her deceased husband,
The Warrior Queen went to the battlefield with her greatest power, with supreme might.

With a child on her back, she jumped on the loyal horse,
She fought until her last drop of blood was shed on the soil of her dearest Jhansi.
Alive is the Warrior Queen, in the ever-chanted melodious strains sung by her people.

They sing the song of a Warrior Queen
who was as ornately beautiful as a dainty Rose,
and as valiantly courageous as the Mother Earth.

The gentle buzzing sound echoed memories of a fading childhood

When she and her cousin had whispered secrets at the mosque

About undying love and first kisses before being stung by a bee

‘Honey, don’t worry they make nectar and ambrosia is sweet’

She had just begun to wear a veil to protect her from luring eyes

But passion and adventure were stronger than foreclosing fabric

Fatima widened her crimson lips to a smile larger than persimmon

Teased dimples on olive skin into a conspicuous feast of desire

Almond eyes shone like candle light signals in flickering delight

Mustafa was mesmerized and knelt down to show his respect

Then held out his hands and touched the hem of her garment

‘Nothing will keep us apart as long as hummingbirds chirp and

The eagle in my heart pumps around life meaning and peace’

The two children took a piece of metal and made a blood pact

‘Now we are bound in promise for eternity and infinite joy

Maybe our parents will arrange our marriage sealed by a dove’

Now the fizzing in the sky turned into a shadow of fore-bearing

Grew loud and too uncomfortable for their young souls to neglect

‘Let it be a falcon with his talons bringing pride stealth and vigour

His beak will seal our connection with a pick of mellow salvation’

Impermanence beckoned however when the minaret collapsed

Their young lives dissembled into a surreal mirage of illusion

The hawk was a steel groomed assassin and bore a serial number

Doomed she lay in the rubble catching the dome of the masjid

And she was not prostrated in prayer but slain by the drone

Mustafa gathered her dissected remains and vowed retribution

Mopped up her blood with the veil of lost innocence and revenge

Today he drives a Toyota Land Cruiser through the streets of Aleppo

Gun barrel on top next to a black flag with white prophecy inscribed

The seal of misguided religion will not bring Fatima back into live

But he is a victim and dreams that one of the virgins in waiting is her

Lord

Lord,
Today forgive me for I have not done all I could to stand.
I have been slack in my walk for you and have not been diligent in pressing
my way through.
Father God, have mercy on my soul today; and permit me to come before you
begging for your forgiveness.
Let your spirit speak to me through all my days, endlessly invoking the will
of the Lord upon me.
Allow me the strength I need to bring my mind and body under submission to
Your holy spirit.
Hold fast to me Lord, for sometimes I feel as if I am slipping away from
Your wonderful promise.
Lead me all the days of my life oh Father God, so that I am forever and
always in Your will.
Help me to walk in the word, stand on your promise, and speak life to
everyone I come in contact with.
Oh Father God, when times of peril and disruption come show me the
brightness of another day.
Please speak to my mind even as I sleep, feeding me promises only You can
fulfill.
Continue to mend and heal my heart that one day I will be the perfect image
of your grace and mercy.
If it was not for Your love and devotion that makes me whole I would have
been dead long ago. For Your undying love and endless mercy, I am thankful.
For the peace that You have given me in spirit and in truth, I am grateful.
For the times You have shielded me from the worlds’ persecution, I am
grateful.
For all the times You are everything I need in spite of my wrongs, I am
eternally thankful.
Father God, I know, I don’t always give You the praise and glory You
deserve, and for that I am apologizing because You are my back bone and
without you I can not stand.
Please find it in Your big heart to accept my apology, for if You are not
pleased when you look at me my whole world would crumble.
I will forever be in Your debt, and I will serve you into infinity and
beyond.
Lord You are the head of my life and I surrender all I have to give to You
and Your will.
Where I am week, make me strong.
When I fall, pick me up.
When I often fall short or fail, continue to speak words of encouragement to
my spirit and the very fiber of my being.
Lord I love you and I always will.

Lessons of Love

When you are in love
stars can fall at your bidding
the moon can swallow the sun
and love` s moment itself
is a perpetual miracle
a trip to outer space.
Those unable to find another love
agree that loneliness
is the perpetual fire
after the first love,
there is no other.

I have fallen in love
ten times out of ten
with light, dark, tall and short
girls, all claimed they loved me
but who has nurtured the undying love?
They passed through my heart
like comets which faded across the sky.
What is the meaning of love?
I remember names--only names
as they erode into my nostalgic past.
I remember the trysting tree
how I waited in the dark like a hunter
night` s next of kin lying in wait
an angel emerged from the dark.
I remember nights I ran back home
feeling like a king, a conqueror
after some triumph over sweet romance
a lover` s hope, wish and bliss
are nothing but wandering wings.

Eight years after exchanging
love for love like clothes
I got married to the one girl on hand
happy but gripped by the fever
of wedlock -- and was I fortunate?
Marriage is more than a lotus meal
dreams fully wake, no longer a joke
from doing the dishes to settling the bills
from throwing tantrums to hugging and kissing
it` s hard to abscond from the vow.
True love cannot be borrowed or sold.
Now I know what others have known for ages
that we can learn to look on love
as a gift taken from nature` s palm
but teenage love is timorous
and the thoughtless youth
is in the hour of ignorance
severed from lessons of endurance.
Is love a game of chess?
Sometimes I wondered what`s next
we have been to the top, bottom and between
at other times we marvelled
for seeing the airbus land
where we took off --it s always been the same
the same face and the same laugh
I have always known and courted
for years without wavering or faltering.

How else can love be explored?
I have never come closer to the riddle
than when I lie in the sun
counting my blessings like beads,
or when I stare in her eyes
to find that the sweetness I have known
in her is not overshadowed
by fear, solitude, pain or grief.

Never Give Up

through the glass on the other side,
lays a girl on a grassy foundation,
            flowers blooming, leafs opening,
                 her hair was flowing,
                      the wind was blowing,
                             the desire was growing,
                                  she lays waiting for knowledge,
                                        she was forbidden to leave,
                                            for she kept waiting,
kept wanting,
kept loving,
kept caring,
her heart kept beating,
with the sound of he's voice.
with the image of he's face,
with the memory of he's touch,
he's hands knowledge hers,
has he came close,
he touched her chest,
and filled her heart with undying love,
a love so pure it can mend a heart

,
baby you took my heart,
     my breath,
          my thoughts,
you just wanted to share your love,
your heart is an open source software,
                         that I vow to protect,
                              even if it means,
                                 I give up my heart,
                                     so you never lose yours,
I believe that love is a healer,
                                           because you heard my tears,
has they fell filled with pain,
you heard the break of my heart,

has he tore it apart,
you lied next to me,
you vowed to me,
your love was only for me,
the Angel of Destiny.
you called me by,
for Destiny drove us together,
now she destroying your life,
she dramatically drained your life source,
she fills you with stress,
she haunts you by her pass,
she is talented,
but lowers herself because everyone tells her to give up and forget,
your talent is suddenly boring,
they all called,
slowly they destroy her talent,
without it she is no one,
just another liming,
she wants to be unique,
but to you she's limited edition.

Love Letter No. 2...Janet Camden.

My most precious darlin' love I come to you across the many miles as my heart it bleeds an undying love for you.How I miss you so sweetheart. Last night I gazed upon the vastness of the velvet heavens and the tears began to fill my brown eyes and fall down upon my ivory face as I whispered your name on the warm southerly breeze. How my heart aches each day that you are away from me my love. Each day I feel a little more of me is wasting away the longer you are away from me.How I long to be held in your loving arms again.I so need to feel the comfort of your gentle reassuring touch .The softness of your words telling me that you love me and will never leave my side and that you will always be with me. Oh, to look into your eyes once more I would gladly lay down my life to know you are safe and with my last breath I would whisper...

                                            ~ I Love you~

Love Letter No. 2...John Camden.

My beloved, i find myself more and more lost in memories of you. I never thought i could feel so alone, haunted always by your smiling face. Still, there is an aching in my heart for you and home. Every night i look into the night sky and there you are my Love, my own guardian Angel, watching out for me. I whisper my Love to you and you smile, yet tears fall from soft brown eyes. I shall be coming home to you my Love, one day i shall be there in your arms, tasting your lips and lying by you once again. Tonight i sit alone just watching the sky, seeing you in every star. I think of home , we would be sitting on the porch at this time. My heart aches so to be with you. I long to hold you in my arms again and whisper my Love to you as we lie by the bend in the river. Keep that thought in your mind always. It shall give you some solace through the lonely nights my Love. You are in my thoughts always my Love. Let us make our memories in our dreams.

My Love comes to you on a whispered breath.....I Love You.
