Need For Theater

 the necessity
and in it's
urgency of it's need
to coney these
 thoughts

 words to form

 in the sweet
rhythm of speaking.
Verb and vowel,
adverb and adjective
that each conjunction
 support, those words
that need support.
the urgency and concern
and the lack of causing each.
these words

the orchestra :band and

Prating Matador: Tale of Two Tails

In ye old days of yore on Malaga's dreary shore
An untidy castle rimmed by salty moor
Housed a lonely, oft-drunk matador
In briny marsh grazed no sheep, but wild pigs three score
Staggering oft around soggy, muddy estate in boozed, dazed state; prating conquistador
With fitted bed sheet he dodged each, wild, voracious boar
On one fateful eve a rabid boar did his flabby posterior gore
Now ambitions stored, bedded his dreams, salved his sore
'Til one morn, a damsel in distress swooned at his door
Bereft of virility, but saddled with tales of chivalric lore
A hearty tonic the prone maiden he did pore, and spouted tawdry tales galore
Unentranced by availing circumstance, his rambling advances she did ignore
Intoxicated by her lovely essence, her father's residence did implore
Confounded by his incessant inebriating pleas, she fell to the floor
Mistaking her bended knee as fealty to be, he let out a drunken roar
Enraged by his licentious intentions, she yelled, I will not take any more
Mind numbed from numerous droughts, he heard, I am your whore
Giddy, his infertile, limp shaft tried into her sweet mound to bore
But his drooping shaft could not breach her silty core
Frustrated the horny goad reversed positions. riding her till both were saddlesore
Finally breaching the chasm, his spent rod found reeling a chore
But her tapped well gushed and she yelled encore
Now understanding his riding days were over, he cried and swore
His ripening virgin unsatiated bade his pallid pilot her canyon explore
Now contrite, he explained fertile streams no longer from stagnant fount could pore
Giving due penance, purged the dross, and from her steamy vat tore
Forevermore an unfit paramour, jilted matador; who no longer his tainted cape wore

A Multitude of Notions

A Multitude of Notions

Subsonic phonic interference with my ailing mind
Bubonic pneumonic incoherence at the passing of these times
Hedonic tonic maladherence to the rules of constructed rhyme
Neurotic moronic disappearance of the complex and defined

Palentology and mysogony make for an unpleasant combination
Archeology and phenomenology predate the current conversation
Numerology and autonomy form a starstruck invocation
Epistemology and ideology culminate in complex connotations

Radiant cosmological constellations inspire wonder and awe
Gradient chronological extrapolations graphing out what all of this is for
Salient anatomical combinations leave the post surgical patient raw
Valiant ethological consternations distinguish the greedy from the poor

Astounded by the notion of another concept to illustrate
Confounded by the commotion of the latest political debate
Impounded by devotion to the church, leaders and state
Resounded by emotion as it begins to culminate

Anthropomorphic projections by an unusual mind
Isomorphic reflections on the state of all mankind
Nonmetaphoric infections that keep you humble and refined
Heteromorphic injections that leave you perpetually unkind

Illuminated thought forms streaming down from a twighlight sky
Communicated societal norms leaves the question firmly stated as why?
Automated technological reforms leaves the humans passing by
Captivated innocence is reborn as each man prepares to die

Is Ashwin the Indian Don of Spin

Where do you begin with Ravichandran Ashwin...intellectual impresario

Red ball romeo... conceptual maestro..the Kingpin of spin..leather lothario

Perpetual taunting...teasing..bubbling cerebral cauldron formenting..haunting

Troubling.. flaunting...tormenting..vaunting..fermenting..pleasing

Luminosity...but another one of the band of badger brothers

Reeks of unique chic tweak at its peak

Bare faced cheek of genius geek cavorting

Discerning pastor preaching while yearning for learning

More about turning…..curiosity pique...sleek sporting freak

Mythical master of disaster..have many if any been reaching 500 wickets faster

Viral spirals about this sage despite his age still taking centre stage

Batters like budgies trapped in a gilded cage

As though he had planned to grandstand the Ravinchand bandstand brand...stealing the back page

Revolution masquerading as evolution...cogitating...searching for a solution

Ruminating..problems to fix with his swag bag of tricks..spinning absolution

Precision physician with constant revision...each edition

A new rendition.. high jinks with winks.. and nods to tradition

Wondering...that furrowed brow..pondering how

Career of seams caressed with finger finesse ... architect..engineer without peer…

Can't debunk the magic funk…just respect from a Test tragic monk

Scientist enthrall..sorcerer gall...still one of us...the best of us all.

So hold your head high Ravichandran..still don't know why you were so often the fall guy

Fans vicarious view..our meme..you part of our team...daring to dream..your art of derring do

Iconic booty of noble probes…lush lullabies...strobes lapping global lobes

Sagacious..loquacious oratory...the tonic...fruity frolic

Fresh from laboratory duty..bodacious bucolic beauty

Even naysayers can't deny they relish that conjuring charm from your cherished right arm.

Let's zoom to the elephant in the room...is Ashwin the don of Indian spin

With the skill and will to top the bill and still pip Anil?

Kumble also a defiant giant on whom they were so reliant

Hot to trot just not as savvy as Ravi

The Don's got the lot..takes number one spot

Wealth of stealth...doyen among men..but never ever about himself

He loves cricket just for the cricket itself..zen then..

Shinning Like a Million Star

Born into the family of seven
Handed over the last born baton
By the other descendants of the
Pa Noah “Mekolani Olajide’s” fame.
Her sojourn in life starts from
The far down “Sora”,
Sora to “Odo Alafia”
“Odo Alafia” to the West of “Oraborode”
“Oraborode” of “Odojomu”
“Odojomu” of “Ondo town.”
She shone like a million star in all.

“Ariyayosi” grew up eating the fear
Of the Lord as Breakfast.
Brave and Intelligent “Yemi Mekolani” alias
“Mama Ondo” leaves no stone unturned as
She prepares her self-discipline, hardwork
And cleaningness as Launch.
As charismatic and erudite “Pa Noah Olajide”
“Baistically” prepares “Aribabagbojule” Dinner
Meant to cushion the effect of
Ups and downs of life
All these in the Biblical Ark of Noah
Of the Pa Noah Olajide;s house.

No wonder the other kinsmen
I mean the six others of the Olajide
Strong Spiritual Siji
Innocent Innovative Iyabo
Fearless Fascinating Fisayo
Lanky Lively Lanre
Lenient Lawful Luwale
And of course
Faithful Famous Funmi ,
Gave her all the needed love to
Make her shone like a million star.

Aunty Rose went through the rigous of
Secretariat knowledge as part of the needed
Catalyst to catapult her to Queen Elizabeth palace
Right into the waiting hands of amiable Martins Babatunde
Martino, a loving and understanding husband
Has all it takes to thank God for giving him
A good wife, indeed a vessel unto honour.

The emergence of Sade Innocent,
Later Sade Ronik, now Manchester University
Was the needed tonic for quest for greener pasture.
The lovely wen-wen sound of a new born baby
That signaled Sade’s entrance was
Not enough to distract her focus.
Similola shone like a million star

Then comes the arrival of Saintly Sagacious Sayo
And ever Stylishly Shy Seye on stage.
For the lead cast role has Scientific Splendid
Sade at the back of the stage.

As a Sister, she is a rare gem
As a Wife, she is rare breed
As a Friend, she is a rare specie
As a Confidant, she is a rare seed
As a Teacher ,she is a rare scroll
As a Mother, she is a rare plant.

Packaged for my Aunty’s Birthday in London
Its was one of my earliest poem, hence, the
Colloquial usage in the poem.

Be My Tonic

I love the way you twirl girl,
Love your moves, want your groove,
Just prove to me you can,
Give me your time and dues.

My beautiful angel,
Give me song, make me grin,
Be my tonic when I’ve none,
Tune me and make me win.

We agree about films,
You mean much more to me,
Than sugar drinks or chocolate,
Than just blind industry.

My beautiful angel,
Give men song, make me grin,
Be my tonic when I’ve none,
Tune me and make me win.

Take me to the club girl,
Dance and rhythm like rap,
Come to me with your slash,
Rip me open, turn my tap.

My beautiful angel,
Give me song, make me grin,
Be my tonic when I’ve none,
Tune me and make me win.

Your mess is my honour,
I pride myself in you,
Whenever you want me,
I’m there, I need you too.

My beautiful angel,
Give me song, make me grin,
Be my tonic when I’ve none,
Tune me and make me win.

Be my tonic when I’ve none,
Tune me and make me win.

Premium Member Symptoms of Paralysis Tick bite !!!

Four years ago, awakened from deep sleep
in the middle of the night
Room was spinning wildly
body wracked with fright

Then later on that same night
a little further down the track
A second episode !! What the hell is going on ??
Why is this body out of whack ??

Next morning vertigo !!
struggling just to walk and feeling rather sick
Three days later, large lump above the ear
and there embedded a much engorged nasty paralysis tick

Took four months, vertigo gradually abated ,full health finally resumed
That's how long it took after tick it was exhumed

Six months ago, a tick embedded in the shoulder blade
that's where it nestled so some blood it could ingest
One month later and after tick removal, tightening of the muscles
all way down the back , plus muscles and soreness of bones, that surround the chest

Following paralysis tick bites there does exist
a dis-eased state in the body , has title of Lyme
Not recognised in Australia, have experienced Lyme symptoms
after paralysis tick bites, each and every time

Checked the on line library once again, re this subject Lyme
re cause of symptoms that have been endured
And how to overcome Lyme affliction
have found an antidote, feeling much assured

Codolepsis root includes substance quinine,
available in tincture form
Tonic water also flavoured with quinine,
takes a week or so for body to regain a state of norm

Now also use preventative, citronella oil to distract paralysis tick
extracted from a native Aussie gum
Every day applied prior to venturing out
upon the head, the upper body, don't forget to do the bum!!

And just two days ago another bloody tick below citronella oil
and embedded in the pubic hair
Applied clove oil, my wife with the tweezers,
performed extraction OUCH !!!! whilst I was seated on a chair

Premium Member Insidious

Open then your eyes
And you will thus see:
Loss in those hoarse highs
Thrill insidious spree.

Do not seek escape
For fate torments strain:
In a wild charade
That clusters more pain.

Do not run away
Into distraction:
For this is the day
To find extraction.

Evil wears a smile
Sly as motive hell:
Breakaway with style
To shores love can dwell.

Crafty cunning schemes
Upon idle minds:
Vile intent frames theme,
Primes insidious finds.

Do not be afraid
Of pain that now spills:
Purge all sense of dread,
Let peace of mind fill.

If your soul must win
Discern the wise way;
Gulp that tonic gin,
Blossom fitful play.

It's In the Jeans

The young man stood at the bus stop waiting for the bus
Along came the sexiest looking young lady he ever saw
She had on tight, stretched blue denims that marked her curves
Her shape was as the Coca Cola bottle as the saying goes

“Hi princess, can I be of any assistance to get your jeans off
I can imagine it will be a challenge for you without some help”
Smiling and blushing the young lady pass her hands over her hips
Letting the young man imaginations run wild like wild stallions

The bus came and he let her go up ahead of him, like a gentleman
She went into the nearest seat, he sat beside her claiming his territory
“So, may I come home with you so we can discard this intrusion to your beauty?”
“Well, since you ask so nicely and you are such a gentleman, of course you may”

They got off at her stop and she led the way to her apartment’s door
His eyes never leaving her blue denim clad sexy voluptuous curves
What a treat I have tonight he thought, I will make her want me over and over
I will slowly peel off that tight blue jeans while kissing every inch of her

“Can I get you something to drink,” she ask. “Yes, may I have a cold beer please?”
He sips his beer, she her tonic wine, while they try to get more acquainted
With every word he says he draws closer, destroying the space between them
Finally he touches her, peeling the jeans away, the prize within his grasp

He is kissing her all over her face, lips and neck. Not looking from the face down
Suddenly he looked to where his hands were busy. Hello! He is thinking. Where
are all the curves?
What is this I am seeing? All the loose skin kept in by the tight blue sexy denim was
hanging
Things did fall apart, all pun intended, because the young man ran like the devil was
after him

Premium Member You Had Her At Achoo

Did they say it round the tree?
Was it the initial-peek-a-boo?
Was it said with diamond-degree
or with rhinovirus achoo?

Was this thing called love catching?
His youthful looks and ruthless-hanky
and her wavy brunette sway fetching
before love sickness got too -panky.

A linen cloth could have harbored
the germs from which no antitoxin.
She’s amused by whistling on starboard
and forthright first-sight-neurotoxin.

Later, they stare into empty space.
She used her ring for scribbling.
Gin was her tonic, a cold head case.
His knuckles, not her ears, nibbling.

An unlikely spark brought them back.
They wrapped arms around the oak.
Surprised by touching fingertips, smack
of lips that mollified disparaging gin-soak.

His debonair looks and ruthless-hanky.
Her wavy snow-white sway, fetching.
Battling love sickness with its -panky
Forever-after-lips relentlessly catching.
