I don't even know what I want to write
So I just write whatever comes to mind
Surely by now you already heard the news
that I don't know
Yeah you don't know it too
That's why it's called news haha
Anyway you can
What do you mean by that?
Anyway, you can
Lol
Time is a money
Time is everything
Haven't you noticed?
If you don't have time, you don't have anything
Choot, you go
Running tight?
Ahh you don't want to do that
How can you ever get by?
Life is a beach
I say life is a summer
Why do I say that?
Haven't you noticed?
There are more life in the summer
People everywhere
The sun is shining
And I am shining
You are too
from perspiration
Do do do
This song is in my head
with no lyrics
Ahh I have to fill it in
Let me see
Do I what?
It seems everything has its tomorrow
Does it have its yesterday?
Lol so don't look back, okay?
Start today
fresh and anew
I mean start with a shower
Lol okay
You are going to k me
I know I know
Time is running
Where is it going?
Black hole - yeah that's where it goes
Bottomless pit
haha
Does it seem like you've been here before?
Why?
Were you born yesterday?
It sounds like you heard that before
Lol when my friend when?
Ahh I am gonna be in so much trouble....
Funny do is a funny don't
Have you heard that before?
What that means is you shouldn't do anything
Yeah
Don't
Till I say so
Haha I'll let you go
Till I feel like it again
Haha
Dust
by Michael R. Burch
Flame within flame,
we burned and burned relentlessly
till there was nothing left to be consumed.
Only ash remained, the smoke plumed
like a spirit leaving its corpse, and we
were left with only a name
ever common between us.
We had thought to love "eternally, "
but the wick sputtered, the candle swooned,
the flame subsided, the smoke ballooned,
and our commonest thought was: flee, flee, flee
the choking dust.

Fredo got me and the gang
A primeval chord inside me rang
We went together on patrol
On the territory rebels had stole.
We saw him then, once one of ours
He tried to hide; you could see him cower
We kicked him, pounded till he was dead
It was a hoot, the blood we shed.
Then I noticed a creature further back
She was a human who I don't attack.
She shed tears and wrote in a pad
She had just learned that we could be bad.
She had bottle-fed me when I was a child
But a chimp is always part of the wild.
Can't blame us for ganging up on a foe
Its in the DNA, its how the winds blow.
My remote relative looked at his socials online
He noticed a trend to call Mary a swine.
He unfriended her, Mary gave a sob
Something primeval in the call of the mob.
Between Chimp and Man about 8 million years
We're still too close, it appears.
Some say evolution is not correct.
But why such an irrational intellect?
As the dense haze of the drowsy dusk
disappeared behind the drape of the tinsel-twined dusk,
the mystique night spread its turquoise tapestry
on the dream-drenched diaphanous sky,
where from the edge of the creative cosmos
her star landed with the light of billion candles,
on the loving lap of the mesmerized mother.
Its tantalizing twinkle rippled with
the rhythm of rapture in the dance of angels,
in sync with the symphony of her heart,
celebrating the descent of a spark of her divine light,
she protected in the worldly wind.
The shining stellar sequin
elegantly enjeweled the ethereal robe,
called the motherly love, she wore
in place of the feathered wings of the heavenly angels,
sheltering the sparkle of the shooting star,
she fostered till the end of her time,
when in the obscurity of eternal darkness
she disappeared, nobody remembered.
But I saw her return home,
where she shines as my singular star
in the realm of celestial splendor,
attaining the aura of the seraphic congregation.
In the crown of God glitters a gorgeous gem,
my featherless angel.
Hold Him Down!
His mother was vicious to her child.
A sensitive boy who spoke his
mind, so she deemed her son, wild.
Hmmm!
How shall I punish him she thought
long and hard!
So, she sipped Long Island Tea
in her sumptuous backyard.
Physical punishment,no not that.
And suddenly, it hit her like a bat!
Into a dark closet, I will lock him
and ignore him, till he feels totally
rotten and forgotten.
The little boy was given minimal
sustenance.
And both his once happy face and
free spirit left his countenance.
His desire to eat, to communicate
all were distressed.
His arrogant mother, the Queen
of Ego, just happily grimaced.
She pranced about that house
without a soul.
Not caring about a life she most
joyfully stole!

Tripping on Insanity, lucid dreaming nightmare/
People hating on me but I'm chilling like I don't care/
Making deals with the Devil, paying all my dues/
Spawning many demons and he only dropping clues/
Not holding up his end of the deal trying to play me/
So, now I'm fighting demons that I spawned losing daily/
But they'll never break me, and one day he'll take me/
Dealing with a serpent I should've known he would snake me/
Now I'm trapped in chains, that burn like live wire/
So I'm going to war, fighting fire with fire/
They want me to expire but I'm a Vampire/
I'm not going down till the lady sing the choir/
Until then I'm keeping all my black attire/
And welcome any demon who baptized in fire/
So if you're a qualifier come join me now/
We will keep fighting until I make the serpent bow down/
Tripping on Insanity, trip, trip, trip/
They say I'm losing my mind, but I never done the crime/
It's like walking around with a chainsaw looking exhausted/
This my third day without eating a meal/
The only thing I ate was my medication/
Tripping on Insanity because I never done the crime/
That leprechaun follows me around/
And walk around for hours without making a sound/
I just call him lucky and lucky my friend/
He never say anything but always offer a cigarette/
We walk around everyday looking for golf/
And everyday, he telling me to rob another store/
The stores are real generous they give me all they got/
They fill my backpack until it overflow the top/
They're the only people that's nice to me/
I'm tripping on Insanity but I feel good/
They're calling me insane but I'm just misunderstood/
In Each Passing Cloud
In each passing cloud I glimpse my late sister
I blow kisses to show her how I miss her
She used to say she’d love to journey through space
On a fluffy cloud to some faraway place.
When we were young we loved watching clouds pass by
And guessing what pictures they placed up on high
I still do it though I am well past my prime
It's a lovely way to spend passage of time.
No doubt my sister plays the guessing game too
Obviously she’d have a much clearer view
Looking at picturesque clouds from high above
With me down below and her sunny side up.
Hopefully sis sees me in each passing cloud
And remembers when we were once girls aloud
How we’d heartily sing at top of our voice
At church on Sunday singing songs of rejoice.
I grieve o’er my sister and life seems empty
How I’d love to hold her in hugs aplenty
Till we meet someday I’ll play our favoured game
With each passing cloud I will honour her name.

Delegate Math
Mitt won the homeland and the state nearby
Cashed in Ohio knowing twas do or die
But he could not manage a knock out punch
So Tuesday did not ruin any body’s lunch.
Newt worked main street and picked a Georgia peach
It tasted good but to Tampa will not reach
Hopes Alabama tide will roll his way
Promises he is in the race to stay.
In Virginia Paul had Mitt to himself
Can’t put this contrarian on the shelf
He will march on in libertarian style
Take his stance in the convention aisle.
Rick now loves the Tennessee volunteers
Surprise win in North Dakota brought cheers
Oklahoma was a star in the southwest
Cowboy boots look nice with his sweater vest.
So the party will not be over soon
It will continue till Utah in June
In meantime we will do delegate math
And seek not to spew each other with wrath.
Though I try to deny it, I’m a hopeless romantic at heart
Studying happiness and love as if it’s some work of art
Writing it down, trying to capture the beauty
Like a fresh water oasis in this life of cruelty
I read books where the characters yearn and pine
While I imagine a love I know I’ll never find.
If to be loved you must love yourself, then I’ve got a long way to go.
How could I give my heart away before it’s even become whole?
Nobody wants fractured pieces of a girl who’s used to being unwanted and ignored
The traumatized parts of a girl left behind, who plays the victim with every typed word.
She’s full of the traits that they’re destined to hate
So she’ll lose herself to change for them till no color remains.
But one can dream, one can imagine a life.
One can even imagine finding somebody right.
But just like the poet falls back on her rhyme
The girl always retreats back to her own mind
To the books, the kind of love that can’t be real
Well, except for the couples that are all over reels
Or her grandparents, proving young love doesn’t always end
And that maybe the teasing wasn’t just as a friend
But 60s love doesn’t happen, at least not to me
Everyone around is just destined to leave.
So I’ll convince myself there was no pull at first sight
Push away that hope, sit down, and write.
Put on a love song, no, turn it off.
Don’t make me miss what I never even got.
Don’t let me yearn, ignore your racing pulse
“I don’t even like him,” but my heart knows that’s false
I’m a coward, I know. I won’t let anything out
Even though all I want is to open the door and shout
Maybe gain the kind of closure that he never gave me
And I’d stop wasting my time just sitting here and waiting.
But what I wouldn’t give, just for one chance,
To feel what love’s like, even though nothing lasts.
A Brief Guide to the Tories
As practised in the UK
Grab what you can
Shall be the way
Life at the top
Seems to be a farce
When progress is made
By kissing ****
Brown paper envelopes
From he who affords
Can secure a seat
In the House of Lords.
Cutting benefits
While all the while
Heaping honours
On the Tax Exile
Look after their own
Seems the creed
Charity is there
For those in need.
The country run by
Ex red top hack
In what’s known as
Getting a country back
Turkeys voted for Christmas
Don't assume they always wll
So while we're in power
Get your fingers in the till
Grab what you can
Shall be the way
We’ll take our chances
Come Judgement Day.
