Premium Member HEART THAT ENQUIRES OF GOD

March 29 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on 1Samuel 9-12

Key Verse – 1Samuel 9:9 Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.

HEART THAT ENQUIRES OF GOD

Our heart enquires of God in our prayer-time
And He blesses us richly more than any riches’ dime
While showing His great mercy of gracious goodness-chime
Thus, we are privileged to enjoy His presence in fellowship’s prime.

Our heart enquires of God in our faith-practice
And He strengthens us along our entreaties
While teaching with His commandments’ notice
Thus, we are blessed to have His help in our infirmities.

Our heart enquires of God in our wisdom-plight
And He illumines us with His directing light
While giving His great principles against confusion-blight
Thus, we are fortunate to receive His truths wherein we should delight.

Our heart enquires of God in our service-stewardship
And He aids us in our discipleship
While manifesting His compassionate leadership
Thus, we are secured to trust Him in His offered work-partnership.

Our heart enquires of God in our discipleship-challenges
And He instructs us along His statutes’ charges
While assuring His miraculous life-changes
Thus, we are amazed to observe His ways within His freedom-cages.

Our heart enquires of God in our struggle-victories
And He upholds us by His empowering stories
While radiating in His holiness’ territories
Thus, we are encouraged to continue through His inspiring glories.

Our heart enquires of God in our spiritual growth-need
And He assures us His eternal salvation of awesome security indeed
While protecting our testimony along Scripture’s creed
Thus, we are thankful to Him toward praises’ breed.

Putin of Russia

Putin The Great, like a tiger, he inspires both awe and fear to the enemy within and without. His enemies see him as a dictator but a hero to the voiceless and unjustly attacked from the global south.

Accused as a war criminal for defending his territory and the dignity of his country, under his leadership, poverty in Russia is reduced by more than half, and real GDP has grown rapidly, under his leadership Russia as found its place on the world stage.

Even at the time his enemies are plotting to divide and destroy Russia, he defends his country through the army and defends Russian civilisation by educating his people.

His popularity among the poor nations of the world speaks volumes.

His country Russia stood against colonialism, imperialism, neocolonialism, and all kinds of wickedness perpetuated by the West.

He has won the hearts of the poor nations of the world by helping them to fight imperialism.
Even wild animals defend their territories, why, should Putin not defend his own territory?

He was born at a time when Russia needed him most. Without him at this dark moment,Russia would have been divided and destroyed like Africa.

When he wanted to join the European Union, he was rejected and treated like a second-hand citizen of Europe. Before him, Russia was looked down upon by the imperialists.

NATO wants to weaken him and destroy Russia through the Ukraine war, but he is clever like a fox, vicious like a tiger, and Wise like a serpent.

The gods sent him to bring checks and balance in the world full of a big ego of imperialism.

Putin, viewed like Robin Hood of the global south. He is loved and admired by his followers today and forever. The global south always say,"long live, Mr. Putin..!!!"

I stepped on someone's gum
Now I'm part of a nation
I slipped on a paving slab
Now I'm part of another nation
Not that it’s up to my liking
To change nations every day
But I can't argue if there are
So many nations that I don't have time to learn
Which one I'm a part of
At every moment of the day
Whose territories I appear on
And disappear without a care
I don't mean to disturb all that
Importance of power, those dour faces
That we are doomed to notice everyday
I don't mind if anyone is converted
To their familiar religions with those
Cruel gods created by state-minded prophets
In my view all this tormenting world
Was invented on purpose to spoil life
To intimidate us for no other reason
Than power of the immortal troublemakers
Evolution is impossible
Consolations are rubbish
This species is hopeless
Not the first, not the last to become extinct
I’m already gone fishing forever
Once I saw my eternal love’s face in the sky
I wish to become a weed
Growing on by a waterlogged stream.

Premium Member Peace Is a Dream

I pray for peace, asking for God's blessing;
for our need has never been so pressing.
Wars and skirmishes are on the increase;
asking for God's blessing, I pray for peace.

Devastated by war, cities crumble,
treading on bodies; the injured stumble.
And Hope dwindles, until there is no more;
cities crumble, devastated by war.

Brutalized and starved, the women are raped,
for their men died fighting; no one escaped.
As newly gained territories get carved,
the women are raped, brutalized, and starved.

Children die mutilated and abused;
when military tensions aren't diffused.
There are no morals when the bullets fly,
mutilated and abused; children die.

Peace is a dream; war is reality;
politicians deal in hyperbole.
Inflated egos stifle a child's scream;
war is reality; peace is a dream.

The Four Horsemen

The Four Horsemen

War - So much of it that goes on in the world, effecting numerous economies just to gain power and luxury trying to take over other territories even their own colonies.

Death - In the past or present times millions of people continue to die, whether in Foreign or American soil why does so much blood tend to boil, it even occurs amongst each other due to crimes of hate or heated turmoil.

Strife - Angered individuals from adolescent to adult figures trying to make the life of others miserable infecting them with the disease that also makes them bitter, Never had a chance to rise so you want to see others fail and fall even for no reasons all you'll yell out loud kill them all.

Famine - Hundreds to Thousands of people tend to go hungry even in third world countries exist malnourished societies, hundreds of food corporations with many different chains will try to do good deeds but plenty of food still manages to go to waste.

If things continue to go wrong nothing in this planet will last for long, Why not work together to end War Death Strife and Famine before these entities bring upon an apocalypse worst than you could ever imagine. ©

Premium Member The Old Rusty Gate

How I used to care for this finely beautiful gate, once!
Couldn't ever see it rusty, dingy, dusty, dirty;
Creaking of this gate left me psychically in a dunce,
I sandpapered; cleansed; oiled; kept it gold-shiny and flirty...!

This old rusty gate now retells within many stories:
Stories of our union; innocent children-communion;
Stories of progress in all glorious territories;
Stories of rise and fall and separation and union...!

How death of dear ones leaves one's existence absurd and void!
The old rusty gate now revealed to my neighbors, common;
My sadness, emptiness, dankness, loneliness and schizoid,
And announced: though I was alive: R.I.P. with Brahman...!

I should, though late, renovate this old precious rusty gate,
Relish my memories till I live and rewrite my fate...!!!

"Life is an expedition to unknown territories. Adverse winds may veer round and the calm may be disrupted any time, but don't lose hope and pull on" ~ By Poet

Leaving the sheltered confines of the past
We embarked on an expedition, fresh and new,
With the present volume and its contents closed down
To open another and pore over its pages anew.
Everything was calm and still as we set out,
Except the pain of being cast loose from our anchorage
Over the swelling magnitude, we sailed past,
To alight into the novelties of another world.

On the bosom of a tranquil sea, with fleecy clouds above
We moved on to realms, fanciful and new,
And continued to sail over the lolling waters,
Gazing at the finny herds in undulating waves.
But sudden was the turn of wind and weather.
The waves rose to mountain heights.
Thunders bellowed over the wild waters.
And the sea into an aggressive fiend turned.

The billows lashed and crashed over the rocks.
All around was the booming sound of rushing waves.
Flashes of lightning left rents in engulfing gloom,
And the ship, adrift in the roaring currents.
At a point when it was about to drown
The tempest subsided; the sky turned clear.
What Providence has saved us from our peril?
We keep wondering now and ever!

Knowing that tempests will again strike,
And our vessel will be rocked hither and thither,
Now, with greater caution in every move,
With the riggings once more fastened tight,
And with the blue line of a cherished past,
Receding quickly away like a cloud in the horizon,
We continue our expedition, braving the waves,
And sail past to regions far and unknown!

Premium Member A Morning In Miniature

Carpet patterns
and the swirlings of grain
in wooden floors were maps
to me of exotic worlds,
portal holes for a child
to enter and explore
places edged on the
furthest reaches
of the fabulous.

Even today, as an old man,
I saw a landscape
in miniature when morning sunlight
came through the window
and crept across
the room, illuminating a map
in the knots and welts of grain
rolled out on the pinewood floor.

I found myself off on tour
swept into the detail
along its ravines
and imagined trails,
into its wild inland,
the unfenced territories whose
vast subterranean caves
well far below what
can be seen, the dank
dormitories of dream.

And then,
above the underworld,
dry plains paused
by rocky outcrops
of doubt, the long silences
that stretch for miles
and curl up in corners
when evening falls.
The star pitted dark hung
with mystery, morse
for the mystic,

until a sober perspective
shrank the sublime
back into a smaller space
to fit ordinary sight
and became
the comforting familiarity
of a well trodden
wooden floor, aged, uneven,
basking in the morning's
honeyed light.

Premium Member conditionally unconditional

Conditionally,
“unconditional”
comes with its
vast conditions,
don’t you agree?
we invest our love,
and all of ourselves
into the adoration
and dissection
of all forms
of muses,
who will,
or will not
be found
swimming amused
in each others'
minds,
in each others'
poetry;
we are a muse
ourselves, egregious
to the rules of iambic
and other rigid romping
rhythms and rites
to be righted,
that we daily play
dodgeball with ardently,
it's like ducking from
incoming magpies
guarding their nests,
circling their
small-worldly boundaries,
establishing their tiny
very tight territories,
they fly in at us hard
with their sharp beaks
and their spit, they assert
they are allied with the best,
those well informed
highly schooled scribes,
who largely mistaken in mind,
dunk others less than less, and wait
for the curs'ed to float,
but in the sinking
those curs'ed
drowned muses,
in that terrible
horrendous misfortune,
tied to their dunking chairs,
eyes now wide open,
find diamonds
at the bottom of
their damned pond,
as they swiftly pass
schools of wayward fish
with no clear direction in mind,
and other monsters
pulling out hearts
with their pre-prehistoric
saber-toothed grins;
hellelujah for those
who bespoke for you
freeverse from the ego
within the heart -
it’s the mind that cuts
without hesitation,
draws lines in the sand,
limiting us to couplets
in greeting cards
sans ampersand,
conditionally
"unconditional";
the curs'ed
eventually wake
and they rise,
spilling tea
stirring
sugar 'n spice
into the bland,
who eventually
open their eyes
and their minds,
unconditionally
“conditional”
sans ampersand
heart
mind
