Premium Member The Value of Friends

There is much to be said about the value of friends
Those who lift us up when we try to make amends
A crutch to help us stand when we stumble and fall
Hit us with the power of truth, thrown like a fast ball

They offer welcoming shoulders to receive our tears,
Teach us the importance of choosing to change gears
To stand with us against the barbs of disgruntled foes
Refrain from judging when we've caused other's woes

Those who are patient listeners, offering us their ears
They dry our weepy eyes, smile at us and say, "Cheers."
We love their tender mercies in forgiving us our faults
Honoring them humbles us, and their character it exalts.

Premium Member The Dance of the Soul

Soul Search Soul as my story is told the bone of my bone, my singing lullaby song in the dress of my flesh made this possible A story, the beginning the end, this caused the soul that once lived in adventure stayed in my mind my head, through pain, through love, through faith and also rejections, even through my fears praying that my soul will not live in tears. Give ear to my words o, Lord, consider my mediation, my king, my God unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul, O my Lord, I trust in thee
Let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me-yes! Let none that wait on thee be ashamed. Let them be ashamed that transgress without a cause. Shew me thy ways, O, Lord Teach me thy path Lead me in thy truth and teach me. For thy are the God of my salvation on thee do I wait all the day. Remember O Lord thy tender mercies and thy loving kindnesses for they have been ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth nor my transgressions according to thy mercy remember thou me for goodness sake O Lord. My Soul depends on this. My soul prays for this. My soul always needs a friend. My soul watches my flesh grow old and wonders how long will we know the end when the bodies last breathe begins or the last dance be done in the mysteries of sacred time and sacred space where nothing is lost in the dance of the sacred waltz of eternal light joy peace life everlasting, preparations in the end be complete. No more the heart be troubled, neither will it be afraid!

I’m thankful for His tender mercies and grace
The breath of faith that I always seem to embrace

I’m thankful for His compassionate whisper of love
The feelings that keep me filled with joy from above

I’m thankful for His wisdom, strength and kind word
His sympathetic nature assures me that I am heard

I’m thankful for His comfort when I’m living in fear
The miracle of His encouragement helps me all year

I’m thankful for His answers to all of my prayers
The inspirational truths that relieve all my cares

I’m thankful for His kindness which sings to my soul
Creating a purity within me that makes me feel whole

I’m thankful for His knowledge that sends me hope
Warming my plans with words to help me to cope

I’m thankful for His loving spirit which welcomes me
Promising me that I am loved beyond what I can see

I’m thankful for His glorious rays of the sun and Son
Who guides me toward home when my race is won

I’m thankful for the chance to give back a small part
Of all the love I’ve been given by One inside my heart

I have heard the evening sounds
That make the night a symphony;
Frogs and crickets, whistled trains,
And whispers of infinity.
A teardrop glistens on my cheek,
Mere hormones some may figure.
Knowing not from where my histories peek,
Or loves I’ve known and lost that it may trigger.
We hook our hearts on borrowed time
Toward winter’s frosty grip
Sing songs of summer youth before
Our child-time might slip - so sure away
Each framed or famous day
I will not say goodbye when you're away,
For in my life, the beating of my heart
Is proof you stay.
I have run with you on golden beaches,
Walked to nighttime’s furtherest reaches,
Gave my soul and left my soul alone.
All this for lifetimes lived and tender mercies shown.
For in the end, love is all there is;
It's the only gift we give away;
And yet, forever own.
This human heart so small
It cannot near contain
Such Love as words cannot describe
Nor eyes explain.

Premium Member HEART THAT CLEAVES TO THE LORD WHO RULES OVER US

May 3 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on 1Chronicles 8-9

Key Verse – 1Chronicles 9:20 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.

HEART THAT CLEAVES TO THE LORD WHO RULES OVER US

Our heart cleaves to the Lord Who rules over us in His perfect will
While teaching us to trust Him, keeping still
So that His plan we can fulfill
By His tender mercies that make us reach victory hill.

Our heart cleaves to the Lord Who rules over us in His precious worthiness
While reminding us to depend on Him for His graciousness
So that His design we can acknowledge with gratefulness
By His loving kindnesses that fill our vanity-caused emptiness.

Our heart cleaves to the Lord Who rules over us in His constant watchfulness-care
While guiding us to rely on His divine welfare
So that His direction we can follow midst rebellion’s dare
By His leadership that propels us to advance along His presence-stare.

Our heart cleaves to the Lord Who rules over us in His pure wisdom
While instructing us to enjoy His granted salvation-freedom
So that His advice we can apply always, not seldom
By His counsel that drives us to advance His kingdom.

Our heart cleaves to the Lord Who rules over us in His holy Word
While bracing us up against secular ford
So that His truth we can declare as the Spirit’s sword
By His precepts that uphold us along His heavenly cord.

Our heart cleaves to the Lord Who rules over us in His Scriptural leadership
While calling us to His friendship-fellowship
So that His love we can manifest through our dedicated stewardship
By His inspiration that brings us to His warm partnership.

Our heart cleaves to the Lord Who rules over us in His steadfast victory
While ushering us toward triumphant march to His glory
So that His peace and hope we can testify as we declare the Gospel story
By His revival that radiates to us His eternal wonders throughout His territory.

My Lord is he who sits on the throne
I await his return to enter his home
I am unworthy my Lord to recieve your grace
a slave in the world has been my place

Why would the lowly you engage
the house of sin has been my cage
you purchased me and gave me leave
into your freedom I was recieved

You washed me clean and gave me robes
the colors of the fields are now my clothes
the strength of your soul must I seek
for I am abject and very weak

Tears of joy do stream my face
within your mansion I have found a place
a humble servant you have lifted high
Your tender mercies shape my cry

Master you are and will remain
favor of countenance do I gain
Instruct me my Lord in your ways
In your house I will find length of days

I am far from home it is my fear
that I will fail before redemptions here
await I for the chariots carriage
to be recieved and prepared for marriage

My Lord and King tarry not long
for my desire is to sing your song
with exultation and joy within your grace
awaiting am I to look upon your face

Premium Member Ruin

Economic ruin does loom
as hog industry shows no bloom
since swine fever brings pig pen gloom…
Oh, ham and bacon losses boom.

With avian flu’s sudden attack
chicken-kill was toward bad track
dieters’ problem, poultry lack…
what sad impact on menu’s pack.

Midst kittens and pups' lamenting
dog slay for rabies’ infesting
health issues against pets hitting…
I pray for beast* rescue’s granting.

*Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
