My dearest love, I write this plea in rhyme,
To call you back through shadows of lost time.
We fit like puzzle pieces carved to be,
A great couple, rare as rarity.
Remember all we shared, our golden days,
Laughter loud, and dreams in future haze.
Nights we whispered plans till dawn’s first gleam,
Your head on chest, the world a quiet dream.
Road trips and songs, your off key serenade,
Inside jokes that only we two made.
That was ninety percent, pure shining gold,
Don’t let ten percent leave our story cold.
Pride is the greatest sin, it has no place
In real love’s boundless, forgiving space.
Our bond is rare, a thread the cosmos spun,
I feel you still, your typing just begun.
The ping, the pulse, the universe’s call,
It pulls us back, together we won’t fall.
This was our test, the hurt that made us wise,
Let’s pass the retest, see through clearer eyes.
We fight like kin, but always make amends,
Love conquers pain, on that our fate depends.
Time heals the wounds if we refuse to flee,
Break through with me, we hold the victory.
I’m Virgo born, my brutal edge you’ve known,
I warned you once, my flaws are overblown.
You’ve seen the worst, yet next time you’ll not ache,
Unconditional, like love for child’s sake.
I’ve learned my lesson, seen the tears I sowed,
I swear I’ll never walk that hurtful road.
You’re at advantage now, just wait and see,
How gentle, kind, how nice I’ll be to thee.
It’s quite the deal, a playful wink I send,
With everything to gain, no bitter end.
So let’s have coffee, sit and talk once more,
Recall the gold, let’s settle every score.
I love you still, my feelings fierce and true,
I miss your face, I long to be with you.
Meet me, my love, let’s rise to what’s in store,
Together we’ll ascend forevermore.

The World wants to tax the church
you look at the church
and you see a business
that appears corrupt
Granted a lot of ministers
let people down
follow their own paths of greed
satisfy their own desires
But the money the Church takes
does not belong to the Church
It belongs to God
God said as I understand the bible
He created the world
so, therefore, he expected people
to pay a tithe or ten percent
to him as revenue
I know the bible say's
Give unto Ceasor what is Ceasors
Give unto God what is Gods
But having collected the Tithe
Why should God then have to turn around
and pay Ceasor more money
before given money to the church
every member of the Church has paid tax
Ceasor has already had his share
For using his creation
so the tithe does not belong
to the church
It belongs to God
Should God have to pay tax to man
is God a servant of Man
or Man a servant of God
If the money belongs to God
Why should God pay Tax to you
Granted I think the Church failed
to follow the path that God created
They killed people
When the bible says
Thou shalt not kill
they spent God money
On themselves
when in the parable
of the talents
they were told to invest
look at my poems
as constructive criticism
My idea is to get people investing
ten dollars per week
but then I realized
Gods Idea was to get people
investing the tithe
Granted the Church
Was allowed to collect it
the church was allowed to use
it on themselves
leaders of the synagog
were allowed to eat
the animals brought in
to synagog
but respect the money you take
it is holy money
It is not your money
It is Gods money
and does not belong to you
or the church
Thoughts For Today

By: Miracle Man
I gaze out the window at morn’s candlelight,
Observing nothing that might bring me dismay.
Soon the sun will be rising and birds taking flight,
As I search for words that my thoughts convey.
Life has been richer since I sought God’s favor,
He’s removed obstacles from the path I’ve traveled.
More than once He has been my earthly life saver,
While keeping my life from becoming unravell’d.
Once I ditched my thinking seeking sagacity from God,
HE began supplying all my needs leaving some unspent.
He brought me into HIS light from behind my facade,
Since then to his storehouse I’ve brought ten percent.*
*Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
*Malachi 3:8
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Ten percent
Go my love, become the Earth
Do not fear this second birth
Rest not alone, my word is true
The best of me shall lie with you
I lived a life, so long alone
Until I put you in my phone
Only then, I became whole
Found the value of my soul
For you, I’ll ever grateful be
Not just the better half of me
Took no time for me to see
You were at least nine tenths of me
I the agent, you the star
One tiny part of who you are
For you to me were heaven sent
I thank you for my ten per cent
So, go now, Love, become the Earth
Do not fear this second birth
Rest not alone, my word is true
The best of me resides in you

I've grown tired of feeling dead and of making the wrong choices
so I've decided to choose life and to take heed of the heavenly voices
I've made so many decisions that were spiritually wrong
for I did not take them before the altar of God where they first belonged
God wants us to choose life and to live our lives in the blessing
and desires that we have an existence that is free of anxious stressing
to think right, to eat right and to do what's godly in mind
to love one another, to respect each other and be a reflection of God's kind
to make the right choices in order to determine one's life course
to do what is necessary to continue one's life force
to making the right decisions that will leave a lasting legacy
to making the right choices that will insure man's continuity
to look beyond one's self and towards the future generation
to choose life and not death for all of creation
Jesus said "step forth" to that man with the withered hand
and then He asked the crowd of on-lookers of His actions "did they understand?
He wanted to know if they were accepting of what He was about to do
If it was more godly to choose life and not man's laws in full view
a critical moment awaited, a decision needed to be defined
to choose life over death He wanted to know what was on their mind
God wants us to step forward and choose life in our finances, fitness and faith
God wants us to be healed in every aspect of living that we undertake
to stretch out our hands to Him in faith whenever He does call
to trust that He will lift us up by His grace if we should fall
to step forward with a desire to be more healthy and physically fit
to choose life and have discipline with our bodies and our spirits
to step forward and believe that He will preside over our financial predicaments
and trusting in Him to provide by tithing to Him our ten percent
to step forward and make the right choice by choosing life
to step forward and stretch out our hands to be healed by Jesus the Christ

Are you lying in the bed you made
Or lying through your teeth
Are you praying for a better day
Or preying on the weak
Are you giving the world everything you have
Or taking from it what you can
Are you working on building relationships
Or always fighting against the man
Do you look for the good in everyone
Or look to everyone for the goods
Do you give one hundred and ten percent
Or not even do the things you should
Do you think about the things you say
Or always say the things you think
When you lead a horse up to the water
Do you force that horse to drink
We make choices every day
With ramifications far and wide
Please take precautions not to hurt
Those along with you on the ride
Opinion one I do not believe her. I think she is lying.
Forty-five percent of the teachers.
Opinion two. He is guilty as hell.
The other Forty-five percent of the teachers.
Ten percent of us, are non-opinionated, wondering how ninety percent can know?
Worse than know, fervently believe, and do not hear the other side at all?
I have met neither one of these people in real life. I have only seen them on TV.
Question of the day: What do you think?
My thought: I cannot form an opinion. I have not met these people.
Sadder thought: This little controversy is one more thing to divide our already-divided country.
Mabel Jones and her four kids, Tyrese, Sheldon, Christopher, and Myriah (each with different fathers) went to church every Sunday, and the kids attended bible school five days a week in the summertime.
As a family, they sat all week long under huge white canvas tents on smouldering hot summer nights for Revivals.
Mable Jones testified the same sorrowful condensed story of her life every Sunday during the time that they set aside for testimony. She danced with the holy ghost, shouted, and spoke in tongues.
She gave up ten percent of her earnings to tithes and few dollars more to the youth group every Sunday.
She beat her children every Monday for the old and the new, just like her mama use to do when she was small.
Ten years ago she traded her crack pipe for a bible, and now she felt self-righteous. Every chance she got she would curse out the degenerates that atrociously hung around the front of her apartment building.
She would intimidate some of them, and they would scatter about only to return after she left. For the most part, the majority of them would stay and match her curse words and threats.
Even when they threatened her, she was not deterred. She was determined to have the mischief stopped. She would call the police and gave them vital information that led to the arrest of some of the riffraff.
De'Aundre self-appointed businessman, that controlled that section of East End. When he got word of Mable Jones interfering with his business, he got two of his soldiers to rough her up.
It was a brutal beating, and she spent weeks in the hospital recuperating.
It was a lesson well learned, and she counted herself lucky that she was still alive.
Now Mable Jones no longer approaches the degenerates in front of her apartment building but hurries past them to get to her apartment.
However every Sunday during the time that was set aside for testimony, she added to her regular testimony her accounts with the devil.

As one gets older
One often looks back
At all the things you did
In your life.
The good, the bad, and the ugly
And we all have those moments
Because we are human.
And some things you desired
But never pursued.
For me, it was a dream
Of becoming a famous writer
While I can write poems
And short stories,
My greatest desire
Was to write
The Great American Novel.
And sadly it will remain
An unfulfilled desire
As I don’t have the patience or energy .
To edit my six rough draft novels
Turning them into something publishable
And they may die when I die.
And I am in good company.
The rule of ten rule applies
Of one hundred people
Who want to write a novel
Less than ten percent finish it
Of those less than ten percent publish it
Of those less than ten percent make any money
Of those less than ten percent make a living
At writing their novels.
