The Tithe

The World wants to tax the church
you look at the church 
and you see a business 
that appears corrupt 

Granted a lot of ministers 
let people down
follow their own paths of greed
satisfy their own desires

But the money the Church takes
does not belong to the Church
It belongs to God
God said as I understand the bible

He created the world
so, therefore, he expected people 
to pay a tithe or ten percent 
to him as revenue

I know the bible say's
Give unto Ceasor what is Ceasors
Give unto God what is Gods
But having collected the Tithe

Why should God then have to turn around
and pay Ceasor more money
before given money to the church
every member of the Church has paid tax

Ceasor has already had his share

For using his creation
so the tithe does not belong
to the church
It belongs to God

Should God have to pay tax to man
is God a servant of Man 
or Man a servant of God
If the money belongs to God

Why should God pay Tax to you
Granted I think the Church failed
to follow the path that God created
They killed people 

When the bible says
Thou shalt not kill
they spent God money
On themselves

when in the parable
of the talents 
they were told to invest
look at my poems 

as constructive criticism
My idea is to get people investing
ten dollars per week
but then I realized

Gods Idea was to get people 
investing the tithe
Granted the Church 
Was allowed to collect it

the church was allowed to use 
it on themselves
leaders of the synagog
were allowed to eat

the animals brought in
to synagog
but respect the money you take
it is holy money

It is not your money
It is Gods money
and does not belong to you 
or the church
