Serving the Lord demands complete trust in the Saviour,
… testing total obedience
What matters most is our faith, coupled with patience and resilience.
We must seek His presence, not just stirred in our own confidence
Let’s abound in God’s work* with earnest dependence!
Ministering is both for God's glory and honour,
…while it is people-oriented
What matters most is our response as spiritually prompted.
We must be divinely-led, not foolishly blinded
Let’s abound in God’s work as to Him we’re fully yielded!
Stewardship pursuits call for fervent involvement,
…being blessing-laden
What matters most is our willingness to carry the burden.
We must be a help to the needy, not a hindrance as a leaven
Let’s abound in God’s work, leading others to go to heaven!
Being a servant of the Lord is challenging indeed,
…at the same time rewarding
What matters most is our attitude in toiling and giving.
We must thank Christ for our calling, not complaining and regretting
Let’s abound in God’s work, counting the cost while faithfully laboring!
Following the Master asks for consecration,
…along promises' fullness
What matters most is our genuine humility and meekness.
We must be submissive to His will, not upheld by self-righteousness
Let’s abound in God’s work, surrendered to His life-building business!
Staying in the work of the Lord is filled with commitments,
…and it also brings satisfaction
What matters most is our pure heart and honest intention
We must be motivated by God’s love, not by personal ambition
Let’s abound in God’s work, pleasing Him with our faith’s dedication!
Laboring in the kingdom of the Lord offers privileges bountirfully,
…yet requiring sacrifices
What matters most is how we go through the right process.
We must grow in grace, not waste chances in our servant’s experiences
Let’s abound in God’s work, eternally enriched midst temporal losses!
*1Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

"All the Dark Stallions"
Calliope burns
ecstatic bright star
fire brands, all her marks
both hands
holding the ropes
firmly fast today
slow burn
tomorrow
warm whispers
gently towards
the unlit shadows
love wanting always stays
driving all
the dark stallions
towards heaven
where the
Whicker Man
claps for more Light
and
Judgement
patiently waits

"Ooh, you know it's true
That I was born to run,
I don't belong to anyone, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you
(Loved by you)"
"O Stars and Dreams and Gentle Night;
O Night and Stars return!
And hide me from the hostile light
That does not warm, but burn—"

Exposed to life’s enigma
midst fulfillment-search ennui
propelling courageous vigilant choice
between the ephemeral vis-à-vis the eternal
along reality continuum, challenging perceptions
upheld by differing perspectives as well as varied philosophies…
I’m grateful to the Sovereign Creator for settling me in His will divine.
Now, my spirit asserts that I do possess living faith in the Almighty God
Who quickened me, bestowing His compassionate redemptive grace
reaching down to offer me everlasting opulence through His truth
enabling vibrant relationship of partnership with Him
toward the experience of His miraculous wonders
mysterious deliverance, merciful providence
mighty dealings, magnificent fellowship.
Likewise, my soul does rejoice that I have a name written down in heaven
not thru my good works, but thru Jesus Christ’s imparted righteousness
nor because of worthy stature, but because of the Saviour’s pardon
never by religious inclination, but by the Lord’s clemency
freeing me from sin-wages’ wrathful condemnation
when I trusted HIM, and eventually sealed
assured with the Holy Ghost.
Re-created, my heart beats for my Master
converted, my mind seeks Scriptures’ direction
called to serve in His ministry, advancing His kingdom
exalting His name along faithful stewardship of blissful worship
via prayerful fortitude, battling temptations provoking selfishness
while teaching, discipling, sharing the Gospel, involving in life-building
thanking the Lord for all opportunities to abound in His work*, indeed blessed.

September 17 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Daniel 6-8
Key Verse – Daniel 6:26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
FAITH IN GOD WHO IS THE LIVING LORD
God is the living Lord and our Father Almighty
Who upholds our faith by His dominion’s majesty
For us to behold His greatness-stability
As we stay in His will of perfect certainty.
God is the living Lord and our revival-flame
Who settles our faith by His truth’s claim
For us to serve Him without deceit’s blame
As we prevail in His stewardship, despite physically lame.
God is the living Lord and our Saviour
Who establishes our faith by His redemption’s fervour
For us to testify about His lovingkindness-savour
As we thank His grace of mercy’s favour.
God is the living Lord and our blessing source
Who sustains our faith by His provision’s resource
For us to share His goodness in reaching-out course
As we praise His name along His compassion-force.
God is the living Lord and our divine light
Who illumines our faith by His counselling delight
For us to continue doing what is always right
As we strive in His holiness with prayerful might.
God is the living Lord and our guiding hand
Who directs our faith by His Scriptural command
For us to triumph over worldly challenging demand
As we focus on His plan upon our commitment-stand.
God is the living Lord and our protective fortress
Who guards our faith by His power from falsity’s distress
For us to overcome attacking weariness-stress
As we cling to His mercy to win against tempter or temptress.

There alone it sits as rippling waves sway
As each one hits there sitting in the bay
It has dreams this little old rickety vessel
For oh! what all seems, within its own will
But it's anchored the ocean being so vast
Not being secured that boat wouldn't last
Storms so rough full of powerful waves
All that stuff comes of what one craves
The others around are often on their way
Saying all that they found as here I stay
Looking at the horizon jolted by the wake
Missing out on the fun oh for Pete's sake
With a sudden gust that anchor untied
For all he lust this little boat now tried
Down the channel and soon far out to sea
What he couldn't see is now he wasn't free
Soon it was the night with nothing around
Picturing a sight when he was safely bound
As the waves grew and that boat was tossed
As like you never knew this boat felt so lost
When a Light came as I was about to sink
He called me by name saving me in a blink
Bringing me back Home, He anchored me tight
So I wouldn't roam always being in His Sight
Hebrews 6:19
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul,
both sure and stedfast,
and which entereth into that within the veil;
God loves you and me.
This is our assurance for eternity;
And even in this world of cares and woe,
He will daily let us know
That when we trust HIM and obey
He will give us comfort and strength to stay-
Stedfast, immovable in all His ways
Always abounding in His Love.
There is no reason, then, for doubt and fear
For His Love will persevere-
In our hearts, uplifting, changing, setting us free
To be the best that we can be
Always abounding in His love.
The Power of His love transforms the mind, enlightens each of us- all mankind
To be "more than conquerors" overcoming every foe-
To be victorious over problems in this life
Always abounding in His Love.
The Power of His Love bonds us as One Race, One People, One Brotherhood
with the desire to treat one another as we should-
No ill-will to be wrought
Always abounding in His Love.
The Power of His Love sets us free;
Brings us freedom, liberty;
Give us joy and peace of mind,
Makes us loving, caring, kind,
With life serene; life sublime-
Abounding in His Love all the time.
Keep me seeking I pray,
keep me looking for your return.
Keep me serving I pray,
keep joy within my heart.
Keep mefaithful I pray,
keep me trusting in thee.
Keep me sharing wholeheartedly I pray,
keep thy love within me shining forth.
Keep me searching thy word I pray,
keep truth alway in my sight.
Keep me open to thy truths I pray,
keep me closed to this world of woe.
Keep me believing ' what thus saith The Lord' I pray,
keep faith in my heart always.
Keep me true to thins bride I pray,
keep me doing thy will.
Keep me founded in thee I pray,
keep me standing strong in Your Grace.
Keep friends always near me I pray,
keep them nearer to thee.
Keep Thy Grace upon me I pray,
keep Thy beloved close to thee.
keep us always stedfast I pray,
keep us consistant in Your given faith.

Abiding in God’s will, let’s serve the Lord with joy
Beautified through His grace to minister along gladness-glow
Cheered up midst Scriptures’ truth, smiting hypocrisy and deceit
Delighted by the Almighty’s blessings toward stewardship-triumph
Empowered for fruitful compassionate reaching-out
Fortified to encourage upon strengthened faith
Girded, guided, geared up against human frailty’s endurance
Hoisted as held with Christ’s omnipotent and gentle grip
Invigorated, ceaselessly fervent around Holy Spirit’s revival
Jubilant, gratefully testifying: “Our labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
*1Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Love is a beautiful virtue; it transcends all facets of life-
And when in active motion, love is the greatest motivator, prompting us to do the
Right.
Love works no ill towards others; love is pure; love endures; love is kind; it's
strong-the great purifier of every wrong.
Love is endless, faithful and true; never severs but with diligence, bonds all
people, kindred, nations and tongues.
Love is stedfast, constant, unselfish, glorious; changing lives to a state of living
victorious with peaks of joy and peace for abundant living.
Love bonds, mends, never pretends; but makes each heart positive, happy,
content and eager to be the best in character he can be.
Love rules the World, the Universe and within its power exists the Source of
everlasting Eternal Light.
