Oh there’s nothing so grand as planned spontaneity
Even in the most dour it’ll bring about some gaiety
The preparation for an impulsive act
Is the thing what will attract
Yes there’s nothing so grand as planned spontaneity.
There’s even a government department you see
For planned spontaneity
They’ll work for months in advance
Preparing acts of chance
Yes there’s nothing so grand as planned spontaneity.
So you see it’s not Murphy’s Law
It’s been all worked out before
When things turn to sh**
The scenario was already well writ
Oh there’s nothing so grand as planned spontaneity.

ah, my dog how serendipitously
I did germanely, modestly,
quintessentially shepherd convenient
rhyme with reason (hubble spontaneity)

this line thirteen...

with eyes shut tight e'en
absentmindedly maneuvering "fake"
steering wheel, while zee queen

police seeing eye dog approaching
and barking unforeseen
drove sitting on his haunches
on driver seat cop cruiser
smack dab nabbit
on our figurative docked toured tail
emulating crash test dummy
nearly didst almost careen
into our two thousand

gave spouse faux paw high five
while flock of seagulls,
eagles, black crows...,
attired with red and green
holiday outfits suddenly appeared clean
(white hove out blizzard)
out of thin air nearly collided
with our self driving
automobile I amazingly
gratefully dodged tween

back to Schwenksville,

now exuberant poet hoping
to garner (no bull lariat) keen
punny hush meant toward anybody
including trumpeting mujahedeen

Spontaneity drips
involuntary &yet deliberate
Joyous expression
of inhibitions,inner experience
made free to be.
Painter & creative force
united as one living moment
its residue,to remain
in epigraph.
This inner Harmony
an abstract message
its meaning lost ‘til
unconsciously heard unfettered
beyond its boundaries
Inward vitality
the stress of inner need
to outer impulse
scattered
upon canvas shrinks
transitory & isolated
in the unconscious
its meaning springs
from the soul
by an inner need
outwards & upwards
a composition
complex in flavour
impressions improvised
&uttered
Happy New Year
Be not pugnacious accomplices unwilling
To ring in the New Year with festive greetings?
Open hearts freely, and air out old grievances.
Welcome spontaneity with forgiveness.
And seek solace with jovial acquaintances,
Reaffirming reliance in alliances.
Time is a human condition of realism,
Involving biological magnetism.
Were this enlivened fest to last forever,
How bright the outlook for future endeavours?
How flat the path to higher expectations
With friendship extended in merry convention?
There, in the midst, with an imparting party cheer,
A kiss on my love’s lips, and “Happy New Year!”
"Spontaneity is childlike wonder, it is simplicity, abandon and
curiosity; but, it takes 'courage' to embrace the unexpected."
Quote by _Constance
I like to write free,
to just drift in whimsey and rhyme:
just brave me,
fancy free;
writing on a whim where I shine !
My words twirl and dance,
muse, and me in a childlike play:
happenstance,
we enhance;
and like magic words float and sway !
Winging it in peace,
I entwine in a trance serene:
to release,
what's beneath,
often muse takes me to fields green !
Disregarding rule,
in reckless abandon I write:
call me fool,
or jewel;
free my words soar into the light !
"Discarding narrow thought flow crutch
we learn directly by soft touch
and what we garner we relay
to the vast void in childlike play
entwined thus with the universe
we dance without need to rehearse"
Everything has a pause

And I realize now
Even in my spontaneity there’s clarity
I see before I think
I think before I act
However it doesn’t show it
A long one, a short one
I value it
It keeps the mind is suspense
After all no man likes to wait
It’s an itch in the brain
Some do not believe it in as I’ve said
They believe in the rush and fail to think further
The dread of not being ahead
The constant comparisons with strangers
Second guessing nature
I was once like that
Only now I’m learning
That it doesn’t stop growth
Only pushes it
Pause to me is Patience
To me its hope
I’m learning it
In love's spontaneous symphony,
Notes of passion set hearts free.
No script to follow, just melodies weave,
A dance of emotions, in love, we believe.
Music flows like a spontaneous stream,
Each note, a sigh in a heartfelt dream.
Feelings cascade in an unrestrained rhyme,
In spontaneity, love transcends space and time.
Nature's canvas, painted without a plan,
Colors of spontaneity, across the span.
Breezes whisper secrets, trees sway and play,
In nature's spontaneity, serenity holds sway.
Feelings bloom like wildflowers unseen,
Spontaneity's touch, a vibrant sheen.
Love, music, nature in harmony entwine,
A celebration of life, where spontaneity shines.
Scriptures speak to us in riddles
Relying upon esoteric symbols
They may be well intentioned
But it’s time this truth is mentioned
That addressing mind, invoking fear
Guilt of imagined sin begins to sear
Plunging our mind in deep confusion
Spontaneity lost, fearing retribution
Something’s rotten in the religious setup
For unless soma nectar flows into our cup
We feel incomplete and shortchanged
Separated from source, from love estranged
Ceasing thinking, abandoning all knowing
In stillness feeling, gentle breeze flowing
We embrace and release each life impulse
Consciousness expands, everywhere at once
Divine entwined, one with the universe
Having vaporised, there’s nothing to rehearse
Bliss throbs within, ignites our central vein
In fullness of rapture, we are free from stain
Undoubtedly senses five and mind have their use
Yet is not overindulgence in illusion akin to abuse
The inner polarities of our sentience are dormant
Yet it’s from within that sparks, the bliss current
It matters not ancient words etched on stones
If it’s real, we must feel it deep within our bones

Ahhh, Spontaneity! How wonderful it is.
It separates adults from children more often than not.
It’s that magical quality which often seems to me
that some people in their older age simply have forgot!
Spontaneity . . . Maybe it’s the essence of authenticity
when you can be yourself and say exactly what you think.
Maturity can keep us from being much too blunt,
yet spontaneity can be subtle like a winsome wink.
Spontaneity . . .Imagine yourself when young.
How easily you laughed; how happily you simply played.
Sadly, it’s not that way for kids from homes of terror,
yet I hope that most of us recall impulsiveness we once displayed.
Did you hop onto your bike, riding anywhere without a care?
Did you ever jump into a pond where tadpoles swam -
trying to catch them while cupping them in your small hands?
Did you grab an apple off a neighbor’s tree, then have to scram?
Did you play with tiny cars or trucks, causing them to crash?
Did you pretend your doll was you and then converse
with your best friend’s dolly as if that doll were her?
Did you make up little plays you never did rehearse?
I did all those things and more. It was a different time.
I could run, play ball, and all through town I’d roam
with friends or siblings. How we laughed and had such fun.
It was not till darkness fell we even would go home.
Today kids have to be more careful, yet I see them play
showing imagination like when as a child I did.
Were you like me, and do you ever dream about today
those fascinating things that you dreamed of as a kid?
Unfortunately as adults, we have a lot of rules.
Rule are necessary, but we must not let
the rigidity of them replace the joy of having fun.
The inner child in all of us we must not forget.
Spontaneity . . . Reclaim what you may have lost.
Calm your mind; lighten up; laugh and smile more.
Embrace creative thinking; be as honest as you can.
The child inside of you is one you never should ignore!
How life has changed
Simplicity no longer reigns
Now a society of ‘look at me’
Lost is self respect and modesty
Breasts and bums on display
Faces plastered in clay
Bodies injected with toxins
Natural beauty no longer an option
Plastic people with plastic minds
Self absorption and vanity combined
Every movement captured on phone
Posed and poised down to the bone
Never present in the here and now
Natural spontaneity they know not how
Life lived only for the screen
Admiration, praise, likes ,comments seen
Humility, modesty, respect
Replaced by egotism, vanity and body perfect
Priorities and thoughts all about self
Consideration , concern for others shelved
There is nothing they will not do
To get that almighty view
Void of decency and dignity
Now a society of ‘look at me’
