Warmly describes a human emotion,
understandably applied for humans to
pleasure, as it's biblically written
where the prophets of old and new
entertained the clueless population
yet obstacles hinder The Word's view.
Then and now, wrapped up in doubt
full of opinions, mostly their devices
deceptive or modify wherefrom the clout
synagogues or churches, advice is
from the pulpits that sermons rout
the ignorants who'll lose their soul's price.
One crucified along the side of Christ
asked for forgiveness before his death
was promised Heaven as his sacrifice
yet the Gospel of John kept his breath
but Matthew, Mark, and Luke spliced
the mocker didn't drink hell's lethe.
Yet Catholicism, Western, and Eastern
Orthodox, The Gospel of Nicodemus empowers
and Arabics who follow the Abraham version
except for most Protestants distant from cowers
to the acts of The Roman Martyrology diversion
was renamed Saint Dimas for those bowers.
The Word of God anointed Christ, The Prince of Peace
and the first resurrection was Lazarus' versed in The New
and Elijah's wheel was versed in The Old piece
God spake His voice, and Christ virtually knew
and rose from the dead, the advent increased
while death and birth are The Word's points of view.
Birth created life and waits for death to do its part
death identifies those precursors of sin
and death succeeds forgiveness for those who impart
as the dead will rise and breathe within
while their blessed souls rejuvenate and claim Heaven's depart,
angelic host resurrected flights for Heaven.

I walk past the sorrows
breaking through my silent plans –
plans my heart borrows
from the song flowing through my hands…
song of light, a seeker, believer
resting on the words of His mouth
words that I, as a seeker, with a fever
rest in as it journeys from north to south
I walk past the pain
remembering He is with me
it’s all so very plain
so I fall to my knee…
sanctified, holy, blessed
by the wonder of His light
falling over me when I’m stressed
soothing me so I feel all right
I walk past the darkest of nights
and feel Him with me, so alive
comforting, bringing me to new heights
with Him, I’ll continue to thrive
it’s Him, His light, His love
that shines through the skies
answering me from up above
so that I can surely surmise…
this Jesus who silences my doubts
He frees me from all of my fears
my heart, it screams and shouts
when His love wipes away my tears
I walk past all the past’s shadows
and look beyond the grief I’ve known
to the wonderous light who’ll compose
a song for the One who sits on the throne.
listen to the music as it tells of His gift
I’ve been washed by blood that saved me
blood that gave my heart and soul a lift
thanks to Him, I’m saved and forever free!
"Lord, grant Your divine healing..."
This is my spirit's plea
Now that I'm confronted with my Dad's groaning angst
While he writhes in pain, struggling to express himself
Here in the Intensive Care Unit which is his haven this Christmas season.
"Lord, your miraculous healing is needed..."
This is my soul's whining
Whenever I see my Dad's agonizing response
Toward seemingly endless needle pricks, catheter changes, suction insertions
As he strives, yet suffering, to seek relief.
"Lord, pour out your healing that's merciful..."
This is my constant prayer
Since my Dad's afflicting blood sugar count
Along unstable blood pressure rise
Oppresses him grievously midst laboured breathing.
"Lord, Your gracious healing* is besought..."
This is my humble cry
With faith in His power for my Dad's health-restoration
So as to recuperate from his stroke
Toward praise-filled thanksgiving and joyous homecoming.
*Luke 9:11 ... He (Jesus Christ) received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

FAITH IN GOD WHO EMPOWERS US TO SPEAK HIS WORD WITH BOLDNESS
God empowers us to speak His Word with boldness against fear
Actually driving our faith along His truthfulness-gear
So that we can stand for what is right by His courageous steer
And come to His altar as He draws us to Him near.
God empowers us to speak His Word with boldness against pride
Actually upholding our faith along His winning side
So that we can serve Him sincerely upon meekness’ stride
And abide in His will as He does provide.
God empowers us to speak His Word with boldness against deceit
Actually strengthening our faith along His truthfulness-gear
So that we can stand for what is right overcoming pretenses’ beat
And seek His favour as our needs He can surely meet.
God empowers us to speak His Word with boldness against persecution
Actually exhorting our faith along His Scriptural direction
So that we can follow Him while obeying His instruction
And exalt His name as He reminds us of His granted salvation.
God empowers us to speak His Word with boldness against iniquity
Actually refining our faith along His forgiveness’ certainty
So that we can strive for holiness by His purity
And testify about His grace as He teaches us genuine humility.
God empowers us to speak His Word with boldness against worldliness
Actually sanctifying our faith along His righteousness
So that we can choose to stay in His peaceful blessedness
And cleave to His mercy as He lifts us from weariness.
God empowers us to speak His Word with boldness against discouragement
Actually enabling our faith along great commission-fulfillment
So that we can labour for His kingdom advancement
And wait for His arrival as He cheers us in our prayer-engagement.

Ordained to declare words divine
reverberating with “Thus saith the Lord”
they documented awesome miracles
exposing wondrous historical occurrences
proclaimed among precepts and statutes.
Inditing* blessed Scriptures
they were scribes of spiritual calling
endowed with understanding and wisdom
not according to their own mind
but upon illumination of the omniscient Holy Ghost.**
Honoured with their diligence
along heavenly vision’s guidance
they published the Creator’s supreme chronicles
commencing with Genesis patriarchs in their faith fulfilling
to culminate toward Revelation for Christ’s eternal kingdom reign.
Thus, their devotion is commended
by what they have done, many souls have been freed
reached with the Almighty’s mercy and grace
blessed while reading His living Book with trust…
today, I am what I am by the Saviour’s love, expressed by the Bible.

Light* that lights all lights continues to glow
triumphant midst woe toward jubilant today 'til tomorrow.
Blest light wakes soul up
perking with God's prop.
Divine light wafts hope
propels faith midst cope.
Sun light for work height
prods glad labour might.
Light to brighten time
sounds achievement chime.
Gentle light ends grief
ushers joy's relief.
Smiling light from face
defies angst; shows grace.
Pardon light we see
makes our spirits free.
Light against stress-hush
quiets heart's strong rush.
Light amidst love bliss
never should we miss.
Lord of light brings joys
cheers restive night’s poise.
Light that lights all lights smites evil darkness' blights
illumining humankind toward goodness' delights.

Invited by the vibrant firmament
for a celestial spectacle
here am I yielding with exuberance
ready to behold sunrise miracles
yet was likewise divinely enthralled
by its offered symphony …
angelic orchestra
renders heavenly melodies
midst kaleidoscopic blends of dawn radiance
as harps of praises prevail
over crescendo of worship-exaltation
while sun continually conquers the sky
with triumphant golden blaze
that heralds cheering allegro of jubilant hymns
accompanying trumpets' staccato for championship march
proving its assigned function by the sovereign Creator
as the “greater light to rule the day”---
serenely reigning with the adagio of seraphim's harmony
and cherubim's rhythmic hums soothingly sweet.
Oh, here am I, captivated spiritually
anticipating the coming of the “Light”* with all His glory…
and yes, thankful for this poetic prompt
yielding this muse.

Here am I needing Your compassion in my struggles along life’s race
Indeed continuing in Your will where Your name I can freely praise.

Who hears me crying for forgiveness
Thank You for showing me Your Word’s faithfulness
Here am I praying that You keep me in Your holy blissfulness

Praise be to God for cleansing us

Power so we can prevail over temptations
Peace against transgression-turbulence
Prosperity so we can progress against trials
Leviticus 14:11 Praise be to the Lord Who
encourages us to present ourselves before Him:
Carried by His salvation-security
Cleansed from sinfulness
Clothed in His sanctification
Commanded by His Scriptures
