This is a song to be sung by a lady so if there's one out there who thinks this worthy, sings and writes music take this and run with it. The only thing I want is the knowledge that someone used it...thanks if anyone can do this:
THE GIRL NEXT DOOR GETS NEXT TO THE BOY NEXT DOOR
I remember when the boy next door first knocked upon my door
I’d seen him washing his ninety-six Chevy two days before
He was shirtless and sweating while wetting down his wheels
And that is when a lady’s desire and lack of better judgment congeals
I think it was blue with writing that read “Body By Design”
I’m talking about the shirt of a man I’d like to make mine
With ripples and his rough spots in all the perfect places
Yet soft enough to hold me and enfold me in his embraces
The boy next door had a two-door Chevy he named “Beth”
He saw me as I walked by in short-shorts and very short of breath
The boy next door was breathtaking with eyes of beautiful blue
Someone who could make this girl next door’s dreams come true
But who, I wondered, was this lady by the name of Beth
Could he have confused the “B” as in boy with an “S” as in Seth?
Yes, that’s the circumstance now I’m sure with certainty
His name is Seth, there is no Beth, and I know that certainly
I remember when the boy next door first knocked upon my door
I’d seen him washing his ninety-six Chevy two days before
He was shirtless and sweating while wetting down his wheels
And that is when a lady’s desire and lack of better judgment congeals
That boy next door went from door to door looking for a kiss
While I waited at my door for the boy next door to come and kiss this miss
Finally we kept kissing and his beauty made my feverish flesh cold
And still gives me chills and thrills while he carries me over the threshold
The boy next door had a two-door Chevy that he named “Beth”
He saw me as I walked by in short-shorts and very short of breath
The boy next door was breathtaking with eyes of beautiful blue
The boy next door who made this girl next door’s dreams come true
And now the boy next door is the boy next door no more
Since that boy next door and I now share the very same front door
The very same…………… front door!

I’d just like to love you but, you love to just like me.
I really want to have you but, you’d have to really want me.
We are at different places in our relationship,
So all I can do is sing about you, but at least this song’s a hit.
Seems people everywhere can really relate to this song,
About love going nowhere in a relationship all wrong.
Everywhere I sing this song the fan base really grows,
Because it’s full of music and words that they already seem to know.
Sometimes it’s a guy who loves a girl, a girl who loves him not.
Sometimes it’s a girl who in her heart cupid’s arrow has been shot.
Sometimes they’re young and sometimes old, sometimes straight and even gay,
It doesn’t matter who they are they all hurt in the same way.
I’d just like to love you but, you love to just like me.
I really want to have you but, you’d have to really want me.
We are at different places in our relationship,
So all I can do is sing about you, but at least this song’s a hit.
People tell me everywhere that I am singing their life’s story
And wonder how I knew their feelings in all its heartache glory
Seems their misery loves my company when I sing their song
And after the first verse is nearly sung they can already sing along.
The sad thing for me really is that you haven’t even got a clue
That when I wrote the words to this song I wrote about me and you.
You think we have a beautiful thing being friends through and through
And it never clicked inside your head why I’m so good at singing the blues.
I’d just like to love you but, you love to just like me.
I really want to have you but, you’d have to really want me.
We are at different places in our relationship,
So all I can do is sing about you, but at least this song’s a hit.
So all I can do is sing about you, but at least this song’s a hit.
So all I can do is sing about you ...
But at least this song’s a hit.
How much sorrow can you take,
when all you think of is true joy?
Very lonely but not hopeless
until another sunrise comes...
you will be wishing, wide-awake,
for the sweet lips of that young boy!
O lonely girl listening to music and imagining love,
you shouldn't get wings and turn into a dove,
because boys don't believe in keeping promises...
they find another foolish girl somewhere else!
O lonely girl barely fourteen refrain from desire,
that desire that can only end up in dire!
It's okay to dream as teens do to vent their rage,
it's fine to have a fantasy and wait for the phone to ring;
and it's quite normal to think of boys at this age,
but be warned of the first heartbreak from a tender wink,
it may lead to something you are not ready for,
so keep on dreaming and shut that darn door!
Towards midnight you hear his voice again and feel fine,
it must be one of those dreams when he says, " Little doll,
you are the prettiest one among others so slim and tall!"
And he goes on, " I made you a promise you'll be all mine!"
Oh, dreamer so innocent: a pillow case is all you hold,
he's not yours by any means...he's a teaser and way too old!
Your silly head is listening to the song he wrote,
a lovely love song he sent to your cellphone,
falling in love is not learned from a romance book:
words mislead and confuse the ones who are alone;
you may love him dearly, but all he does is using you for his own delight...
he may love you, but he'll sing his song to someone who's not too bright.

Saw a girl walkin’ down the road
Stopped to talk, then that pretty face glowed
"Hey there girl, where ya headin’?"
"California, babe. You’re a swinger I’m bettin’."
California Girl was her name
Thought life was just a game
Lived too fast, lived too hard
Now she’s been dealt her last card
We were drivin’ down the highway
Told her she was goin’ my way
To California, the place of dreams
The place of lies, the place of schemes
California Girl was her name
Put her momma to shame
Endulged too much, had a little more
Now she’s left this world, what for?
Made it to California, what a sight to see
We were gonna rule it all, just her and me
Stopped into this little hotel she knew
Not a lotta people were there, only a few
California Girl was her name
Never wanted to be the same
She had everything, she had it all
But then her life took a horrible fall
This hotel was heaven, you know
They offered grass, they offered snow
She vanished for hours then came back
I knew our lives had left the track
California Girl was her name
Knew she was destined for money and fame
Played the good boys, loved the bad
She never even knew of the life she had
A month into our hotel stay
My baby California Girl had begun to stray
Woke up late one night to find her dead
Layin’ on the floor right next to my bed
California Girl was her name
Thought life was just a game
Lived too fast, lived too hard
Now she’s been dealt her last card
Yeah you’re broken hearted
So, what else is new?
And no you can’t deny,
The fool he made out of you
After all the guys and all the lies
I guess you never learned
If you ask for fire and desire
You can count on getting burned
You’ll be better off without him
And girl you know its true
I’m singing you this song
Cause I was once a girl like you
And just when you think life couldn’t be better
And nothing could go wrong
You find yourself listening
To another pathetic love song
“How do I live without you” and
“We belong together”
“It’s just a little to late” and
“Always and forever”
You can drown yourself in sad songs
And cry yourself to sleep
Or you can get yourself back out there
And forget about that creep
You’ll be better off without him
And girl you know its true
I’m singing you this song
Cause I was once a girl like you
I’m talking from experience
I’ve played that stupid game
I finally let go and realized
That they’re all the same
Stop trying to figure it out
Because there’s nothing you can do
Stop trying to win him back
Because it’s him who lost not you
You can dream and you can pray
But what you want is miles away
Don’t be fooled by love again
It’s a game you just can’t win
You’ll be better off without him
And girl you know its true
I’m singing you this song
Cause I was once a girl like you
Yeah I’m singing you this song
Cause I was once a girl like you
Form:
my girl
has a strange effect on me
shes more sweet than honey
but be warned this queen bee can sting
she can be bitter at times
but i dont mind cause
shes all mine
shes my only dream
and she can be like a angel to me
there are always times when diamonds
loose their shine but since the day i made her mine
that shine has never left
her beautiful eyes
shes my girl
the girl with the diamond eyes
this girl is more beautiful than anything
she is my perfect vision of life
she means everything to me
shes my angel and my dream
but at times she can be
the devil to me
we are crazy in desire
we fit together well
shes crazy
and im crazy for her
shes bad
and ill be bad for her
my girl
has a strange effect on me
shes more sweet than honey
but be warned this queen bee can sting
she can be bitter at times
but i dont mind cause
shes all mine
shes my only dream
and she can be like a angel to me
there are always times when diamonds
loose their shine but since the day i made her mine
that shine has never left
her beautiful eyes
shes my girl
the girl with the diamond eyes
yea my girl
with the diamond eyes
she makes me feel crazy
sometimes
but i dont mine as long as i can call
that girl with the diamond eyes mine
i pray they always shine
Verse 1:
I ask you what’s wrong but you won’t say a word
So I had to hear it from a little bird
She told me you were having second thoughts
And the remainder of her words left my stomach in knots
She claimed you had found someone new
Verse 2:
When we first met our love was such bliss
I can still remember the taste of your kiss
But sometime since then we’ve grown apart
I guess I’m no longer the need of your heart
Especially after all we’ve been through
Bridge:
Sometimes I wonder if it’s true
Now it’s time that I ask you
Chorus:
Does this song remind you of me
Or is it another girl you see
Do you picture the nights we’ve had
Way before everything went bad
Or do you see another’s face
And is it Her memory you can’t erase
If it is just let me know
It’ll make it that much easier to go
Verse 3:
When we’re together something feels wrong
I keep thinking of how we’ve been together so long
Maybe you’re bored, or was it just me
Was I not everything you hoped I would be
Tell me you haven’t found someone new
Repeat Bridge
Repeat Chorus
Does this song remind you of me
Or is it another girl you see
v1) Oooh I can't breathe

You can tell the song of the girl too afraid to sing
To the beat of her own drum from miles away
Her song has no life
You can hear the song of the suppressor
Who makes that girl afraid to sing
To her own heartbeat
The suppressor’s song is sung loud
And with authority
To cover his own insecurities
You can differentiate between followers and leaders too
The followers sing an old familiar tune
Together so their voices blend
No one can hear individual voices
There is safety in numbers
The leader’s song breaks free
A melody that soars so high
That others look up to it
Some don’t fall into any set category
Their songs weave into everyone else’s
Trying different tunes and octaves
They belong nowhere and everywhere
And don’t stay anywhere for long
Others sing their song on a different frequency
That few can hear and enjoy
But who’s to say the song is good or bad
When we don’t take the time
To tune in and truly hear
The songs of man and girl alike
Flow and peak and weave
Through melodies and harmony
That never the earth will leave
{verse-1}
I got home last night at four
Found the door open wide
and when I shut and locked the door
I stumbled over something inside
As I searched for the light
I heard my baby girl say
Daddy I'm alone here tonight
Mommy lays there and won't wake up
{verse-2}
Then I felt her little arms
Squeeze tight around my leg
She said Mommy wasn't feeling good
And went to sleep there on the floor
And as the tears fell from eyes
My baby girl said, It's alright Daddy
Mommy will be up soon, I'm sure
That's when I fell to pieces
{Chorus}
Through The eyes of a child
To young to understand
Through the eyes of a child
How can I tell her Mommy's gone
{verse-3}
Then I told her Mommy went to heaven
And that God didn't need her body
She looked at me confused
And said Then Mommy's not up there
Then a hand touched my hand
And a voice said let me try
Then my baby girl turned to me
And said Daddy, I still have you
{chorus}
Through The eyes of a child
To young to understand
Through the eyes of a child
Grew up 'fast when Mommy died
