My current avatar has a story:
I once posted this avatar and someone sweet (Craig Cornish) on the SOUP
blogged about it and named me Betty Boop. Since then...the name has stuck.
I don't know if I look like Betty Boop, but here's the scoop...that woman is
HOT and SIZZLING...
So, My name is BETTY BOOP FROM BEIRUT. In honor of Jack Ellison, who has
a poem up by that title, I put the avatar back up. I call him Kenny! Short for
Kenny Rogers! Yea...I love that guy...His snow white hair is just....so
amazing...and JACK is SO similar, so...I named him Kenny. There...the secret
is out.
Please check out Jack Ellison's Poem of the same title! :) You'll know what I
mean.....http://www.poetrysoup.com/poems_poets/poem_detail.aspx?

Bless me with enough smooches,
That I may confess the blunt honesty of thy will.
Bless my heart with painting in thy words,
To such extent you know my testimony is your grace.
Enough is the triggering pooches,
It keeps me standing still.
Enough are the beautiful looking bird,
That keeps my eyes wandering in space.
Let the armor you are reflect in me;
No doubt, it will supply me enough glamour.
Without thy breathes inking words, will my heart ever be?
Healing power is thy beauty; my prowess rammer.
The way you seek,
Is in me bleeding...
It's your choice to make it strong or weak.
Passing through it at will, shall keeps it breeding...
I have a secret:
A very unbelievable one.
It is a world of beauty in discreet,
I do perceive is filled with fun.
Why do I fear getting old?
Whence Saturdays are always for youth.
Whose body won't take hold,
When flexing the best roads with Ruth.
What else could save enough smooches on my skin;
Which caress my hearts illness,
Where as, am free coz she isn't a kin.
What more to reference the would-be of future stillness!
When the memories of the youth blossoms at heart,
And the deeds an adoring art.
Life is unbelievable in its awesomeness,
You awe to the ought to be of its vividness.
Why can't I live like youth forever?
But everyone's wish is not that clever...

Visiting friends with some visiting dogs
As well as the two of their own,
Was to be the receiver of licks gone amok,
The slobbiest ones I have known.
For canines get cozy the minute they sense
That you'll be both receptive and kind
And then they unleash their affection as if
You're the best friend that they'll ever find.
So it was an evening of nuzzles and drool
And tail thumps and smooches galore,
More doggie love given in one single night
Than I've ever been given before.
When we said our goodnights, with the dogs at the door,
We were not the attraction we'd been;
For to them, we had passed like a ship in the night,
Though their slobber was still on my skin.
Out of the mouths of babes echoes “Car! Car!”
and points he the bended finger waving.
In my close held orbit his rising star
shines in playful hugs and smooches craving!
Wise an old head on little shoulders sit,
oh, that likeness of face, that heart of song,
the torch of wonder in a child’s mind lit -
I see it all and know that you belong.
That first smile, first kiss, first coos outgrowing
did all my past attentions rearrange -
we are now that bond which comes from knowing
how you were begotten and I was changed.
My darling boy two years a gentle soul
know that I your praises sing to the world.

Thirsty rain smooches ground keenly,
sprinkles love to turn it fertile land.
Flowers blush gazing at their deep foreplay
and pretend to fall asleep
providing privacy.
Wind flatters as a bracing feather blanket,
waltzing diligently to their melodic rhythm;
Whole night relishes playing hide and seek,
willingly colliding with trees to create fun;
Wishing them good luck for intimate night,
with wavering smile carried aroma around..
birds and animals
are in slumber unaware ...
dawn enters early

Only ever with you, I love to have and hold
into the circle of your arms, I'll unfold;
into your blue eyes' greeting shine, my gold;
only ever with you, I yearn to grow old...
Only ever with you I can write rhymes as such
for you bring my muse from dust to dash, to hush
Only ever with you my being wants to attach
as first step already taken to our primrose path
Only ever with you, tips dance linger to cherry lips
Slow summer hands will roam vast to wonderland
Whence pearl white peel smooches chocolate skin
only ever with you, heartbeats climbs a boiling point
Stars and moon may leave the dark skies
yet, one look at the gleam of your blue eyes
day and night, I see the rising sunrise.
Only ever with you, I will dive to lows or heights
for only ever with you, I'll plunge to infinity.
Prayers plea asking blessings from Divinity
to tie two hearts and two souls in sole unity.
Mindless to whatever is there in humanity
Only ever with you...

Quote "Winter's white tapestry invites us to pause, inhale the serenity, and take shelter in snowflakes". By Poet
*******************
The shiny trail sprawls forth at my feet,
in silk spike where snow and shade meet.
The world, a quilt of gems, shone bright.
as silence snow slides spumy, a fading flight.
Each flake, a spell, captivating to the eye.
A lover's caress, gentle yet daringly nigh.
I bide in tranquility, engulfed in his shine.
Gradually, nighttime is marred in a shrine
He strokes my hair and lingers upon my cheek.
His smooches are halcyon and meek
Peace hangs in the air, a whisper of light glow
His arms wrap me in the chill of winter's snow.
His rhythm melds with mine, serene and deep.
I had a sense of sweep that I had to reap
Snow is transformed into a beautiful tune.
A bond of love that fails to endure and swoon.
She whispers back, "I love you, stay with me,"
Yet I know her gift is a pure banshee.
For soon he fades, his memory will decay,
a spirit of winter melting fast away.
Had a crazy dream last night
Dreamt I was living in a world
Where kisses were units of currency
First thing I thought of
Was that cute li'l cashier at Walmart
To pay for a $50 item
Would require 50 kisses plus the federal tax
Bringing the total to 60 smooches
I would start shopping for all kinds of stuff
That I didn't actually need
I'd even buy ladies lingerie like bras and knickers
And give them away to friends and neighbours!
In all likelihood I'd go broke
But man, would I be a happy camper
Going to bed now to hopefully pick up
Where I left off...

What a lovely Sunday morning in the park
Sky and lake alive and baby dressed in blue
In the stroller by the bench with mom and pop
They kiss between each lick from Popsicles on a stick
Delicious as the smooches they deliver cherry sweet
Little baby is occupied with his lollipop of yellow
An unsavory fellow old and gray crawling in the grass
Twisting winding exactly like a snake to steal his snack
The child will not be compromised by Mr. ugly creeping up
Greasy filthy hands reach out to take his stuff
The little one pulls out two pistols from his covers
Because two guns are better than one
He fires away like a happy holiday
It is not nice to take a lollipop
It might seem easy as stealing candy from a baby
But not from one with two hand guns gone crazy
