When will we awake to the damage
surely we can see the errors
the harm we are doing or will
we stick our heads in the sand
like blind folks and wait for doom.
.
People are like sheep following sheep
not stopping to think just acting
not seeming to realise we kill
this beautiful earth that we
are supposed to look after.
All of us need what nature
does for all of us
The sky that gives us
both rain and sunshine
the moon that lightens dark.
But be aware of the damage
that we inflict daily
with our plunder of resources
not stopping to care
that they are not limitless
That we are polluting the air
slowly suffocating everything
plunging every living thing
into peril for without plants
we cannot keep balance
I cry out to all to change
so that we can leave
An inheritance to our kin
instead of leaving them
a dying earth
Would you sleep when the mountain gets steep?
Would you sleep when the valley gets deep?
I have the strength to climb to the highest peak
And the courage to go into the deep and bring
Back all the lost sheep
Morning flood the air with a multitude of love
And melodious voices singing from above
Voices of old combining with the new
Touching my heart with memory as I wait
For my long awaited dreams to come true
I can see tears of joy flowing from your eyes
And smiles from the angels coming from high
And the morning embraces the sun.
Would you sleep when hope is realized?
Would you sleep when change is standing by
The day of redemption is floating ahead
And the crown of love is sitting on top her head
It is what everyone had hoped for
To see the sun, moon and stars become one
and those two vision walk hand in hand
to celebrate their love in a strange land
All the birds in the trees watched
and listened with glee and heartfelt contentment
swimming in the sea and love is running after thee
As the evening draw neigh whisper of nature filled the sky
And the clouds kept moving with the colors
Healing broken hearts and telling tales about of love
The voice of nature cries out in the deep\
The voice of nature is hard to beat
The voices of nature has found the lost sheep
God is God and I am man
God made man from dirt and sand
God made woman from mans side
God gave woman for mans bride
God gave them both a garden fair
God gave it all but one tree that was there
God said don't eat or you will die
Satan came in and told woman a lie
Woman chose to eat and then did man
God locked the two out of that land
Man tilled the earth and his garden he grew
Woman was fruitful she bore two
Cain was a farmer and his seconds he brought
Able tended sheep and gave his best as one ought
Cain for selfishness God chastised
Able for faithfulness was rightouse in Gods eyes
Cain let his jealousy stew and brew
Abel his brother he viciously slew
God saw mans sin grow by leaps and bounds
God sent a flood to wash them from the ground
God saved Noah and his family
God saved some animals all that you see
Noah built the ark and in they went
Gods wrath poured out His anger he vent
God put a rainbow in the sky
God repented then promised to you and I
Never will I flood the whole world again
And on Gods oath you can depend
Man again forgot who he was
Man sinned as he pleased just because
God He knew just what to do
God sent His son for me and you
Woman chose to obey the Lord
God gave her His son and He she bore
Christ was born the sinless man
Christ stood where no mere man can
Christ took our sin He took it all
Christ let man take and beat Him raw
Christ let man torture and nail Him to a cross
Christ shed all of His blood so no one would be lost
Christ gave His life and was laid in a borowed tomb
Satan thought is was over man had met his doom
Christ in three days from that tomb He came
Man now had life from the lamb that was slain
Christ lives forever triumphant and true
Gods most preciouse gift for me and you
In saying follow Me, Jesus then made something else clear
As also contained in His decree is what He holds most dear
Always worried about the others in calling them lost sheep
Preaching we are Brothers and from these actions we reap
Like a candle under a basket or a voice not willing to sing
He paid your entire debt and what to Him shall you bring
Saying throughout the land, all those who haven't heard
God's Wisdom to understand in coming to know His Word
Keeping His Word not only inside, but outside for all to see
Thinking not of my pride but of all The Fathers Glory to be
Here casting line after line with hardly even one single bite
And yet all is fine, sitting here, in the shadows of His Light
Oh to be the fisher of a lost soul as all of the Heavens Sing
Such a tiny, tiny little role in any of the ones that we bring
Yes, It is all of His Glory in giving Him such righteous praise
Everyone should at least hear His Story especially now a days
I made it out
To Castlereagh
By peddling
Along the verge
Banjo said
'tis the land of lots o time'
That will do me
Just fine
I seen lots of sheep
Wasn't sure if they were Conroy's
So enquired
Of Old mate
Standing
By his gate
108
In the shade he was
This old man
And a paddock
Full of sheep
'Conroys gone
Same with his son
And the mail man
He don't ride no more
You'll see no drovers camp fires
And as for big lagoons
With flocks of birds
Only in your sleep
Teamsters toiling
No
Roadtrains belching
Out here
On Castlereagh
I made my fortune
And lost it too
Just like that
Big blue sapphire
I found digging that
Fence line
If the season was good
I wouldn't had holes
In my pockets
For it to fall through
He didn't lement his loss
You get use to it
Out here
On Castlereagh
I make money from mud
But not from dust
That's how you do it
On this land
But you do it for the love of it ?
He looked at me
With his weathered face
And jaundice coloured eyes
No
No
Once I did
But not now
I love me dogs
I do it for them
I breathe this mountain air
And when I can't
I will be dead
Along with Banjo
Conroy and his son
With a whistle
The dogs were gone
Be seeing you he said
Back on the verge
I left Old mate
By the gate
Time to find
Ballimore
Estuary
the strong tide greets the sheltered stream
where life's hereafter dares to dream
a place where screeching, circling birds
fall silent to breath’s final words
where memories once formed on land
are carried by the shifting sand
to where the river meets the sea
and on then to eternity.
Aqueduct
where ten arches span time across the Ceiriog Valley
sheep lie in green pastures beneath a Welsh / English sky
as narrowboats above steer the canal of Llangollen
through shadows of high summer’s still quiet waters by.
God so loved the world
a world rejecting this love
but God elected out of mercy
His own flock destined for above
That He gave His only son
to go all the way to Golgotha
dying for the sins of His own
this planned by the divine author
That whoever believes in Him
believing in Jesus brings salvation
as God calls come and be saved
from every tribe, tongue and nation
May not die but have eternal life
God desires blessing for His own sheep
So to escape eternal spiritual death
but receive endless redemption to keep
The gospel of John chapter 3 verse 16
has an amazing promise to all
having a particular love on whoever
to not die but obey His urgent call
('God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him may not die but have eternal life' John 3:16)
God does not play a child's game of hide and seek
You will find Him standing at the side of the meek
Do not search for Him behind a stone temple wall,
but He will hear your prayer when on Him you call.
Though His reply may not meet your expectation,
trust that He will guide you to eternal salvation.
His Holy Spirit is manifested when you're in need,
He sits at the banquet where on His Word you feed.
Inside a cavern is a place God would never dwell.
His presence is felt on mountain peaks, in each dell.
His home is the Heavens. Invisible to you He may be,
but you can find His hand in everything you see.
He abides in my conscience when I'm about to stumble,
and though I have free will, He helps me stay humble.
I hear Him asking me, "What path do you choose to walk?"
Fatherly advice, for I am a sheep in my Shepherd's flock.
When I read Scripture it's as if I'm listening to Him speak,
and I've felt Him wipe away tears flowing down my cheek.
He elicits every beat of my heart, for He gave me breath.
and He will be with me at the moment of my death.
Never, will I be worthy to look upon the glory of his face
for I am just a lowly daughter, and far too commonplace,
but I feel His tangible bearing when I need Him most.
Seek and you will find* that He is real, and not a ghost.
Since the time God created man and life had begun,
He's had no reason to conceal Himself from anyone.
From His all-seeing vision, none of us can ever hide.
These thoughts I believe, and in you I piously confide.

Love arranged
Choices made by others/for love of others

Confused, depressed/worthy of stoning …
From Jacob star/to son it will
Come to pass …
In rags the peasant matron
Not in regal blue/pain, labor. Finally birth
In a cave, a trough/not for rich but poor
Can it be?
No room, no quarter, no roof or bed
Filth, smell, all around …
Straw, bovine sheep, dung, camels
How can this be?
How can this be right?
Who are they?
Uncomely, vagabonds in rags
The promise, the oath/we are cursed, we are scorned
First pregnant but how?
… and dream, strange dream
By why, surreal scene
This is wrong/the sounds unbearable
Cold, dark, damp. And
Oh, the stench
But the light/The blinding Light
From a small newborn
This is no warrior/line of David, no conqueror
How could he be He …
But the brilliance
of the light
illumines this ghetto
this child among the misfits shines, gives
radiance from the

hope is born
but blood is shed near this shed
hatred abounds /struck silent for
disbelief than restored faith
