Needle by needle
The tunes for the fiddle
Press by press
The pink caress
The up and down
The silky gown
Sideways too
The silky hue
The muslin sheen
The fluid violin
The orange sun
With love spun
The slippery satin
The tender teens
The roof grows crack
The burlap sack
Coarse daytime
The internal rhyme
The needles of strife
The burlap life
The people ragtag
The burlap bag
The filigree of labour
The burlap savour
The blue attachment
For the natural scent
The crafting and decor
Burlap we look for
The hugs and kisses
The blue berry bushes
The burlap screen
No harsh wind
The happy times
For the shrubs and the vines
Though poles apart
Both close to our hearts
Burlap and satin
The brown and the green
From the knife and the blade
Towards the burlap shed
From the market din
Towards the songs of satin
Burlap and satin
The stories umpteen

I saved you from myself—
from the wreckage of the storms underneath my skin,
from the dark that devours even light,
from the corpse that barely clings to life.
I set you free, my love—
like a dove from trembling hands,
watching feathers vanish into dawn,
while my soul bled quietly behind a smile.
But in saving you, I broke what was true,
for the cage was never you—
it was me, and I stayed behind its bars,
counting echoes that still whisper your name.
I doomed the heart that truly loved you,
chained it to memories I can’t unmake,
to the scent of rain on your fading skin,
to the ghost of warmth that still burns in the cold.
Now you live in peace, untouched by the ruin,
while I drown in the calm I built for you—
a martyr of my own mercy,
a savior turned sinner
for loving too deeply,
and letting go too late.
If I had known redemption
would taste like the last goodbye,
I would have chosen the fire,
burned gladly—
and let the world watch me die
loving you.
A pale white sun, yellow, thin and grained
played peek a boo games all day
slipping in and out skies black and gray
that only hinted a scent of rain.
The day somehow escaped my efforts exerted
staggered between phone calls and mail finds
with only brief respite from winter's cold averted
that stole the minutes and hours of my time.
Bowing at the crust of dusty breezes
the pale cream sun rays flow
clinging to the last vestiges of winter tease
cooled and blanketed by ashen melting snow.
Behind its glare
climbs the rising moon
with little left of light to spare
and evening stars begin to swoon.
How quick the day
as January slides in the new year groove
leaving us only Christmas memory ballet
of time ever on the move.
I love the silkiness of your long raven hair,
as the sweet scent of your perfume permeates the air.
Your eyes sparkle so brightly in your beautiful face,
with brilliance of diamonds in a jewelry store case.
Your attractive body is what I long to caress,
as I could imagine it under your scanty dress.
Mature form of sugar and spice and everything nice.
However, my key in your lock comes at a high price!
When I pass you each night, I can’t help looking at you;
as so many others on Pacific Avenue.
You possess nectar that so many men want to taste.
What you’re doing with it all is a terrible waste!
I used to sleep with depression and kiss shame on the cheek
Trying to run from all the lies, but myself was chasing me
I was drowning from all that I cried but let me tell you what one of HIS tears did for me
But, first I must rewind to my past where my thoughts were slowly choking me
I even circled a couple of dates with no lady R.I.P.
Fast forward in one months time I'm totally free, compared to about 28 years of new age slavery
I was chained to regret, opinions, debt, social media, threats, fear, pride, and of course selfishness
Alcohol got me too, I was thirsty but never quenched
In stress I was drenched
Then my speech that was meant for life became a toxic poison, so please, please, please, excuse my french
And I'm spite of getting drunk off my own self indulgence
HE still chose me as well as all of you ladies and gents
HE took my life and erased it clean, giving me a new genesis, in His love I am redeemed
I deserve absolutely nothing but in Him I have more than everything
So I preach the sermon of my testimony to all who are listening
I no longer live the life I used to breathe
I was speeding towards death, hanging myself where He died for me, and took His last earthly breath
So, He sent me a reminder text
I am next
To still waters, a firm Oak Tree
And one by one He removed the nails of persecution from my being
Therefore I sing a praise of Hallelujah and hear the voices of angels echoing
Oh what a joy it is too walk with Jesus again, my strength is planted in His roots like osmosis
He lit candles around the past of my diagnosis
So I could forever smell the scent of victory
One thing about my God, He never stops working
Over time it's something we all see, so I encourage you to sell Him first and often
I now remain present in His presence, humbling myself and emptying out all of the world I still hold
Multiplied two fold I repent
With freedom I am chained to the love of His new covenant
No matter the cross before me I remain faithfully obedient
Knowing one day all will proclaim HIM as Lord in Jesus Name
So, if you ask me what God has done in my life, these are the words I will sing
As He continues to deliver you and me
p.s. and I'ma shout it from the roof tops, better yet a mountain just in case you were wondering...
Fresh baked cookies of gingerbread;
a joyful scent wafts through the house.
Christmas Cheer will spread this year
as custard and cookies abound.
Mom takes out a second batch,
but something is amiss,
her first batch of Gingerbread men,
is missing one of its pals!
I must’ve miscounted she surmised and
quickly removed batch number three.
But once again, the first batch was thin;
missing a second cookie.
Miscounted twice, she thought not,
as she pulled out batch number four.
A glimpse from the side of her eagle-eye,
caught one galloping away from the tin!
She’d heard it said that Christmas Cheer
was a magical thing; indeed!
She pulled out red ribbon and tied them
together, now they no longer flee.

February 17 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 33-36
Key Verse– Numbers 33:2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY JOURNEY USHER
Lord God, You are my journey Usher toward Your commandment post
Thank You for letting me avoid worldliness’ judgment cost
As You remove my desires for sin-wilderness where I can be lost
Making me encamp in Your will of peacefulness’ utmost.
Lord God, You are my journey Usher toward Your spirituality mount
Thank You for allowing me to enjoy Your blessings I can’t count
As You revive my soul against trials Your mercies surmount
Making me enjoy Your grace with service-rewards of heavenly account.
Lord God, You are my journey Usher toward Your promised land
Thank You for granting me inheritance You eternally planned
As You secured my everlasting salvation upon Scriptural stand
Making me fulfill Your entrusted task of divine brand.
Lord God, You are my journey Usher toward Your holiness ascent
Thank You forsubmerging me into Your purifying water’s scent
As You refresh my devotion in Your sea of contentment one hundred percent
Making me climb up to Your hill of standards where I stay righteously decent.
Lord God, You are my journey Usher toward Your achievement-rising
Thank You for instructing me through Your Word, prudently unceasing
As You instill in my heart doctrines for Your name exalting and praising
Making me learn from Your truths of wisdom-nursing.
Lord God, You are my journey Usher toward Your blissfulness-satisfaction
Thank You for protecting me from discontentment’s destruction
As You supply my needs with Your provision
Making me seek first Your kingdom of genuine partnership-jubilation.
Lord God, You are my journey Usher toward Your security-keeping
Thank You for letting me possess Your gift of compassion for helping
As You increase my faith in Gospel sharing, never stopping
Making me live in Your goodness of prayer-reaping.

While lying there ‘neath summer stars on blanket in the yard;
just you and I, the Moon and Mars, with Cygnus keeping guard.
I gaze into your eyes of green reflecting in the night
our destiny was not foreseen, this love of ours so right.
Your alabaster skin so fresh with honeysuckle scent;
the southern breeze caresses flesh as darkness gives consent.
Our tangled torsos in the dark, beneath the midnight sky,
and whispered nothings giving spark that leads to moans and sigh.
Your breath so soft upon my cheek, your touch upon my face;
makes certain my desires to seek, my heart begins to race.
With soft full breast pressed to my chest, the nighttime comes alive,
and in the dark desires expressed, our passions start to thrive.
Within our souls the fires awake, and seeking carnal thrill;
our hearts eclipse and bodies quake, as all of time stands still.
And in the afterglow of love, we lay there tired and spent;
while gazing at the sky above, we ponder love’s assent.
This summer sizzle that is ours and never to be barred
while lying there ‘neath summer stars on blanket in the yard.
taking an early walk along the shore
awaiting for the royal entrance of the new day
through His Love Divine---
I hear the whisper of the cold and gentle wind into my ears saying:
the arrival of your majestic prince of the universe has now begun
excitements I feel deep down in my heart
giving a fleeting glimpse at the side of the ocean
there lies the long ranges of mountain-tops
seems as if they hide him from me
giving me suspense on his final exquisite appearance
as the ebbs move gracefully on their way back…
carpeting his path
waves all arise welcoming him with their loveliest prelude
the cold breeze gently wafts the perfumes as peaceful as they could
a scent of the blue ocean-potpourri
filling the air up to the clouds then down to my mood
as my prince finally ascends unto the clear sky
through his radiant rays he sends me right away his glowing smiles
descending his loving touch mellowed by God’s Loving Embraces
from my face creeping down to my whole being
all I feel is his warmth: an assurance that forever He cares
a very wonderful feeling I can’t explain
I close my eyes and raise my gentle face towards his rays
trying to absorb all the blessings and graces he brings
Oh, what a great and wonderful feeling!
keeping still my chin up on high
exposing to him my rosy cheeked face as I close my eyes
then I protrude my lips
As I want to finally feel my Prince Sun’s warmest kiss
a kiss of my Darling Sunshine
a sweet kiss of love
the greatest and eternal love

Note:
I love sunshine! My father gave me a ring when I was still young engraved with words Darling Sunshine because according to him I was born during sunrise. I lost the ring when I was staying in a dormitory as a student.

Engrossing sunbirds,
bees and butterflies
Smirks subtly
a cluster of wildflowers
Dispersing seeds
Through wind and rain
A barren monotonous plain
the wildflowers pervade
Singing to the tunes of bees
Waving to the songs of breeze
The wildflowers set a dais
to please the audience
Cosmos, the team head
Vibrant colors they widespread
Dandelions, the collaborators
Destined to list our wishes good
The divine scent they proliferate around
Is all enough to spellbound-
the novel flies, all perform a lovely play
And leave us astounded every day
Engrossing sunbirds,
bees and butterflies
enthrall vividly
a cluster of wildflowers
