TOUCH NOT BEFORE THE HARVEST--

Once married I've tasted the sweet spirit Of my covenant wife, before we Wed The aroma of her essence was much better, wedded Her arms and hands embrace me, I embrace her totally covenant the Tree the Fruit is always better in time of bloom Not before the harvest
-Song of Solomon 5:5 depicts the bride rising to open the door for her beloved, with her hands dripping with fragrant liquid myrrh onto the door handles. This verse highlights a moment of eager response and romantic intensity, where the scent of love (myrrh) is abundant. 3/26/26 WRITTEN WORDS BY JAMES EDWARD LEE SR. ©2026
