Faithful relationships
with Earth and me,
of we within Earth's natural body
of work and play,
silence and voices,
hunger and thirsty choices,
Right Enlightenment connection
often reflected Transcendentally,
light of healthy humane nature
to co-arise within immanent
pulsing
sappy
sexual
sensory
predators co-gravitating
prey within
Eat and be eaten.
Digest historical resonance
and become reabsorbed communion
of immanently reconnecting lights,
Transcendent from Heaven's view,
Right relationship co-inviting Earth's enspirited Nature
becoming less transcendent predator
to re-emerge more incarnate co-arising prayers.
Here to divide and separate
Now to multiply and co-relate.
It’s the little things in life that make a relationship work.
We just have to be aware of what makes each other happy.
We all have our idiosyncrasies and funny little quirks.
Fall in love these reasons, and people may call you sappy.
There are so many differences between women and men,
But most of us are only aware of the obvious ones.
We just need to take a little time every now and again
To remember that life together is supposed to be fun.
A small gift for no reason to the woman of your dreams
Is sometimes all it takes to show that you really care.
It’s even easier to make a man just as happy, it seems.
He only needs a woman who will always be there.
When you go to the store, you buy her kind of cheese.
Even though it’s not your favorite, you know it’s hers.
When you open the fridge, you get weak in the knees.
The cheese that she bought is not her favorite, but yours.
It’s the little things in life that make a relationship work.
There are many words l value
I will only mention a few
These are words l ‘try’ to live by
Though not always easy to do
Life is an absolute blessing
Though we are truly tested at times
When my value words fly out the window
Myself l must remind ~~
Thankyou and Sorry ~ Voice them
Kindness ~A must
Appreciate ~ All
Listen ~ We all need to heard
Understand ~ Others points of view
Compassion ~ Use it
Judgement ~ Do not make it
Forgiveness ~ Remember we all make mistakes
Happiness ~ The best place to be in life
Laughter ~ Is medicine for the soul
Cuddle ~ Everyday
These are just my thoughts
Which you may think sappy
I just want to live my best life
Enjoy my time here and leave happy!
The Single Girls Valentines Day
( or ...We Love the 15th)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
February has now arrived,
hearts and flowers everywhere.
Valentine's Day will be here soon.
The day for loving couples to share.
But for singles ladies like this one
it's an annoying sight to see
those sappy ads and commercials
they bombard us with on T.V.
So Valentine's Day again this year
will be movie night for me and the cat.
Just nothing about love and romance.
I think I'll just boycott that.
The fifteenth is our holiday
when all the chocolate is marked half price.
On the fourteenth we may be lonely
but the fifteenth is pretty nice.
You have made me cry,
I can understand why,
At least I think I could,
Said, the Little Engine that could...
Yet, YOU still make me happy,
I know I can be sappy,
Life will NOT always be crappy,
I AM NOT grumpy pants,
I am good...
I definitely could,
Learn how to change,
I do NOT have to act deranged,
You picked my brain,
All the same,
If anyone is worth it,
I know that person is you,
I guess it was me,
You began to choose,
But I do NOT know if you want to do,
Those things you used to do,
We have come a long way,
There would be a lot to say,
Full circles have been made,
There is a new way I must live now,
Each and every day,
There will be a new place,
I will lay down for you,
NOT to drown you or even to attempt to take you to town,
Just so Heaven will abound for you,
I know Sean wants to play,
I would like to see him if I may,
Until then,
Here,
I will stay,
Say,
Hey...
It’s funny how when we become parents…we never really know
how much the dreams we dream for our children
will change as our children grow.
Because as they grow…those dreams we had…we quietly erase them
as we allow the dreams they have…to gradually replace them.
Our dreams become more diverse…
as older parents our dreams are a little more sappy.
We dream for them to be accepting and generous people…
who are loving, kind and happy.
We reach a point where we can’t remember our earlier dreams
or the exact moment our dreams faded as their dreams came to be…
but we smile as they reach for their dreams…
proud of the people they’ve grown up to be.
And we think how even though they are not living our initial dreams
(How many children do?)
just knowing they are living their dream
has made our dreams come true.
Midlife crisis
Is this just
A midlife crisis
Or am I doing
what I like
for I just went
and purchased myself
a brand new motorbike
is this just
a midlife crisis
or am I just insane
for just last week
I went and jumped
Out of an aeroplane
Is this just
A midlife crisis
Climbing up this hill
Not at all
I told myself
I’m just looking
For jack ,or jill
Is this just
A midlife crisis
As I go dancing
Every night
Not at all
I told myself
It brings me much delight
Is this just
A midlife crisis
As I drive my car
So fast
Not at all
I told myself
I couldn’t afford it
In the past
When you hit
The midlife hour
Some may say
Your sappy
But who care’s
What the others think
Just do what makes you happy
Form:
During the bloom of youth, in the spring of vitality,
Everything is sparkling and has a fresh, real quality.
Summer is the season of growth and rebirth in life,
Every day brings fresh dreams of conquering strife.
In the fall of life, it is time to slow back,
peace of mind and confidence—nothing we lack.
Autonomy and wisdom in winter arise,
It also soothes and reflects tears wiped by the eyes.
However, life continues beyond these seasons,
Each spirit is revived for the most sturdy reasons.
This is a calm fifth season and a bright first spring,
renewed, purified, and wearing a hedge ring.
If only the fifth season could be possible,
I am perplexed as to what this may be.
In the fifth season, would it be invisible?
Allowing a smile that you can see.
I do not require the new year to be happy,
For every post you write, I celebrate.
I do not lack gifts, as when the night is sappy,
since every word, you say is equally satiate.
Each of the four seasons is crammed into one,
A quantum season is a rush of momentum.
Alternatively, a bright or black hole in the sun,
What about the soul of your heart ramentum?
It was lauded in the fifth season above,
Breathe your last free sigh, since this is love.
The sky swirls up, and things are drawn in cursory,
It no longer observes its bereavement anniversary.
Can the brain be used to conceal this perspective?
Can time-beat insight and distance be effective?
Can faith that rises far above reason triumph?
Can love be a fifth season or a sly wood humph?
Mating Calls, or, Purdy Please!
Limericks by Michael R. Burch
1.
Nine-thirty? Feeling flirty (and, indeed, a trifle dirty),
I decided to ring prudish Eleanor Purdy ...
When I rang her to bang her,
it seems my words stang her!
She hung up the phone, so I banged off, alone.
2.
Still dreaming to hold something skirty,
I once again rang our reclusive Miss Purdy.
She sounded unhappy,
called me “daffy” and “sappy,”
and that was before the gal heard me!
3.
It was early A.M., ’bout two-thirty,
when again I enquired with the regal Miss Purdy.
With a voice full of hate,
she thundered, “It’s LATE!”
Was I, perhaps, over-wordy?
4.
At 3:42, I was feeling blue,
and so I dialed up Miss You-Know-Who,
thinking to bed her
and quite possibly wed her,
but she summoned the cops; now my bail is due!
5.
It was probably close to four-thirty
the last time I called the miserly Purdy.
Although I’m her boarder,
the restraining order
freezes all assets of that virginity hoarder!
Golden Years?
by Michael R. Burch
I’m getting old.
My legs are cold.
My book’s unsold and my wife’s a scold.
Now the only gold’s
in my teeth.
I fold.
Teeter Tots
by Michael R. Burch
For your spuds to become Tater Tots,
First, artfully cut out the knots,
Then dice them into tiny cubes,
Deep fry them, and serve them to rubes
(but not if they’re acting like snots).
