Premium Member Smooth

She listened to his story
As he spoke accented words
She couldn't help but follow
Others said she was absurd

Much smoother than chocolate
Honey dripped from his lips
A tingle in her bossom
He brought fire to her hips

When he asked her for money
He said it would be okay
It would be temporary
Just a loan he would repay

From out of her pocket book
In his hand she placed a check
He said "Thank you, my darling."
As he kissed her on her neck

Up to her room he followed
Expertly removed her clothes
She writhed upon his body
As inside of her he rose

All that she had imagined
Was experienced that night
She was not disappointed
With her legs she grasped him tight

Exhausted she lay sleeping
As he quickly slipped away
Heading off to cash her check
He had felt he earned his pay

In the morning when she rose
There was a smile on her face
By the time the check had bounced
She'd be gone without a trace

CRY OF MY HEART

Hear the cry of my heart oh Lord
Righteous Judge of all,
Mothers and Fathers that day will stand,
Before Him, both great and small.

For those of you judged when you judged not,
Condemned when you gave grace,
though innocent, made to pay a price,
judged guilty in innocence’s place.

Your given pearls cast to the ground,
hated without a cause,
looked upon with such disdain,
and your tears brought them applause.

Your vindication is in the Lord,
Set thy face as firm as flint,
His grace and mercy will restore the years,
locust eaten, years lost, time spent.

For evil, repay only with good,
For hate, reward only love,
For backs turned, keep your open arms,
For stone, give only a dove.

For the testimony of grace you give allows,
God’s light to funnel through,
That they will come to revere the Lord,
And come into His loving truth.

God does hear the cries of the forsaken heart,
“I saw that!” He’s telling you!
“For all of your loss, a hundred fold,
He will abundantly restore to you!”

Hear the cry of my heart oh Lord,
Let all be fulfilled,
For the Lord maketh rich those in whom He pleases,
Having poureth out blessings upon those He will.

Premium Member The Heifer and the Ox - Mar 17

Said the Heifer to the Ox: “O‘ sorry Ox,
How terrible to work your heavy yoke,
All day to wheel around that grinding spoke!”
She lay lazy in the shade of nearby rocks.

But Ox plowed onwards. Hearing Heifer’s knocks,
And paying no heed to her pitiful smoke,
He laboured, knowing well the dreadful joke
Which soon was to repay her mindless mocks.

And just then came a large procession near,
Garbed in diadems and resplendent frills;
“O‘ Heifer, if only you’d known your lot,
You’d have held your tongue and lived life in fear!“
The priests, dragging Heifer to the high hills,
Offered her to gods whose favors they sought.

(Inspired by Aesop's "The Heifer and the Ox".)

Betrayal

You were my friend
But now you’re gone
you’ve left me wondering
What I have done wrong

I put my trust in you
And you threw it all away
Devaluing my loyalty
With the hurtful words you say

The pain of the wound
From your knife plunged in my back
Has left me here wondering
What is it that I lack?

Am I just not good enough?
Am I not worthy to be your friend?
Did I not pledge to you
That I’d support you until the end?

Did I fail you somehow?
Did I not hold you up high?
Did I not encourage you enough?
Did I not teach you how to fly?

And this is how you repay me
Spitting out nothing but lies
You turned others against me
But it's me who’s cutting the ties.

You think that you can hurt me
But you are more than wrong
I will send you away with love
and show you that I am strong

I will not allow this to break me
I will continue to stand in my light
Try to douse my flame once more
Then it’s a war you’ll have to fight.

A Letter To God

Dear God

I hope you are doing fine and not crying all the time.
Sometimes you are also smiling and have some fun.
We, as humans, don’t deserve your kindness and love.
But please have mercy on us.

You gave your son to die a brutal death.
And still, He said, “Father forgive them” with his last breath.
How painful it was to see your son,
Hanging on a cross for all the sins we had done.

Father, my father how could I forever repay you?
And yet, all you asked from me is to be faithful,
Love thy neighbor as you love me.

You gave me so much to be grateful for.
An immortal soul,
A mansion in your kingdom,
An abundant life of eternity,
How, could I be blind and not worship thee?

You are my first true love in heaven and on earth.
You know me before I was born.
You made me a daughter of royalty,
In a kingdom with no boundaries.
And all you ask from me is to love you.

I write to this letter to say thank you.
From your loving daughter.

Premium Member John Hemingway -The Last Of The Few

John Hemingway has died at the age of a hundred and five
It was the luck of the Irish he said that helped him to survive
At the age of nineteen he left his home in County Dublin
And enlisted in the Royal Air Force and was officially sworn in.

It was at the age of twenty-one that he took to the sky
After having gained his pilot wings enabling him to fly
He'd gone to England's assistance in their darkest hour
And he never once gave up even when things turned sour.

He was shot down four times but always found his way back
And defended our skies from a relentless German attack
Their brave defence became known as the ‘Battle of Britain’
But for those brave pilots Germany would have won I am certain.

He flew hurricanes and spitfires in combat during his career
Always facing the enemy head on and never showing any fear
Once his spitfire was shot down whilst on a mission over Italy
His parachute didn't deploy fully but his fall was broken by a tree.

Others called him a hero, but he never claimed himself to be
Often said he was just doing a job for the defence of the country
He lost many comrades on missions it was a dangerous thing to do
John and his fellow brave comrades became known as ‘The Few’.

It's people like John who made great sacrifices for their country
And it is because of their sacrifice we live in peace, and are free
We owe those brave pilots a great debt that we can never repay
How fitting for John that he died peacefully on St Patrick's day.

Premium Member Scarlet Sunsets

Influenced by scarlet sunsets,
soul places on silence its bets,
as bliss magnetism pervades form,
vaporising fears and regrets.

Divine currents, both cool and warm,
cajoles us with love to conform,
by relinquishing lower mind,
plunging headlong in the bliss storm.

Exiting thus, ego spawned bind,
scent of bliss leads us, though we're blind,
that employing mind of our heart,
we're touched by God, loving and kind.

As we are, if we choose to start,
adding hues of rainbow to cart,
rapture unbound in heart is found,
promising never to depart.

Treading softly on holy ground,
heart at peace, as we're twirled around,
dark fate has on us no control,
since bliss beats within us resound.

Influenced by scarlet sunsets,
before death, we repay our debts,
leaving behind no residue,
love, light and wisdom, our assets.

Premium Member An Eye for an Eye

Some people say revenge is sweet,
but its true source is from beneath.
The cycle of violence it spawns,
new horrors breed as each day dawns.

When wrong is done, justice demands,
wrongdoers, for trial must stand.
After the facts are exposed,
a just sentence must be imposed.

An eye for an eye was first meant
Ongoing blood feuds to prevent.
“Don’t take revenge,” is what God says
“Vengeance is mine, I will repay.”

When you are wronged, don’t start a fight,
because two wrongs never make a right.
Vow to repay evil with good
Follow God’s way, live as you should.

One day soon, when sin its course has run
God will judge all for what they have done.
When all wrongs are brought into view,
each one will receive their just due.

The Black Hitler Is Born

riding on a cloud of evil
surfing the whirlwinds of disaster
i think you ought to know
I'm running on E
come and bury me

lily pads
fingertips
peace at last
we children
of deceitful past
we greet the hours
as our last
hidden behind
a fabricated past
i was five
on a sleeping pad

riding on a cloud of evil
surfing the whirlwinds of disaster
i think you ought to know
i'm running on E
come and bury me

math was a problem
i rarely laughed
when to be sincere
meant to become entrapped
we were once as you
a figment of truth
awaiting filth
guilt came equally
as the fever was intangible

"smoke will rise
intentions will fall
the pains intense
but for all that you have done to me
i feel i must repay you
if i can not have peace
no one will"

Consecrated, Solemnly

Consecrated, Solemnly

Each day I submit to you, O Lord,
All my soul and all my being
For, I know you are with and in me
In ev'rything I am doing and serving

When I wake up ev'ry morning, O Lord, each day
Thanks be to You. for watching over me,
You are by my side, always.
In temptation or in uncertainty.

When anxiety and trouble crush down on me
And darkness conquers over my mind and vision
You are the guiding light for me to see,
Shining forth to my direction and destination.

Each day, O Lord, thanks be to You,
All protection, graces, and blessings, you're planting
Into my thoughts, my dreams, and my planning
Into my heart and my ev'rything.

Each day, O Lord, I lift up my pure heart,
And in my soul, my gratitude and sincerity,
My sincere prayer and meditation, to You
The wholeness of me, consecrated, earnestly

Yes, the wholeness of me, consecrated, completely,
To you, in ev'ryday of my lowly life
You gift me love, you gift me wisdom, abundantly,
You gift me vision of eternal light.

Though if my worldly life could span thousand years
Still, how could I repay, O Lord, how could I repay?
For, my life is blessed with Your fullness, always
Like the sun rising in the East each morning
And to the sea, river water longing
For Your sake, O my sweet Lord, I'm conforming
Like flowers blossom, fruit ripens, in the obedience
And from deepest thoughts and prayers, emerge the passion
Carry my cross, following the serving pathway
And all of me, consecrated, solemnly, to You, ev'ryday.
