Words On the Page

Words on the page

A face and a hand in a grand illustration,
still in the corner I hide
Formed of this feel and its lengthened frustration,
longing to come but inside

Thoughts that I bear, like a weight ever growing,
changing my whole point of view
Staring the crowd it is who I am knowing,
given the old and the new

Reaching a bit, to evade their detection,
what would the words seem to say
Scared and amiss and in fear of rejection,
cast but the hours away

A shrug of my shoulders, the look on my face,
all as an act and a dream
For I have fallen this road to retrace,
words on the page they do scream

Take what you want, it won’t wait any longer,
nothing to lose but regret
Tell her your feelings and watch it grow stronger,
jump in, get both your feet wet

Still I stand firm with my legs feigning motion
fearful of answers to find
Happiness laughs like a fool hearted notion
wishing to only rewind

When you appear and my pulse reacts pounding
courage I force to my veins
Reading a poem of love so resounding
checking my voice as it strains

Seeing you smile in the grandest expression
taking my trembling hand
Sighing my words are your deepest obsession
gladly you do understand

Now as we dip in the future’s endeavors,
drenched in the moments apart
For in this fountain we’re swimming together,
writing of love from the heart

Well, I did it again. I wrote this for a contest and THEN read the rules…duh.
It’s too long but...I wrote it so here it is

I Quit

I quit from the sickness of narrow mind
I quit from meanness of bright lamps
I quit from darkness of wavering clamp
I quit from obsolete dirt that touches on

Quit will shed some burden off
Which my selfless motives are carrying on
I fear with the mirror covers
This is breakable with the slightest hurt.

Quit is the decision subconsciously taken.
Else realities will wage war with purities of heart.
Soul kept knocking the door so often
The doors that are half close and half open.

Quit may appears to be wonderful thought
When it is phased out,
world reacts with frolic drought
but I am very firm without any doubts

Fabrication

When running for office,
You might as well lie
For nobody cares about truth,
And if you are caught
And reporters ask Why?
You can blame it on errors from youth.

A lie isn’t merely
“A poor choice of words,”
Which reminds me of “alternate facts.”
The political climate,
With tweets like the birds,
Doesn’t worry how someone reacts.

So a twist of a phrase,
Using “Jew-ish” instead
Of denying your claim as a Jew
May assuage any guilt
Over things that you said,
But no job should be given to you!

has admitted to fabricating key details of his biography.

It's all just words and writings

The will to feel each other skin to skin while sleeping in one bed

you want me, don’t deny it

you know it’s not right, it won't be right

Trying to distract myself from crying

telling you perverse ideas

Making you sweat and tell me what you’d do to me if I were there

The ideas get more grousome each time we talk

tickets to my city are being bought

The hotel is being booked

I’m a child dressed up as an adult

Sitting on the edge of the bed

Why do I keep going? it’s not right

I hate how my body reacts to your words of holding me down, choking me, staring into my eyes

It’s all inside my mouth

All I see in my head is a repeating stream of fantasies

I reread them

imagine them

feeling it inside of me

for hours like in coma I repeat them in my head

and if you ask me how I feel

I wouldn’t know what to say

How dare I complain when I did this to myself

It's all just words and writings

Fatalistic Firework

He shot me into the darkness for
                                                                       hope while my opalescent
                                                                     glow deluded witnesses into
                                                              believing they may have bested
                                                          predestination, seeing my colors as
proof positive of humanity’s ability to
                                                    improve upon the natural order of things;
that awe and amazement, while ephemeral,
can motivate us to comprehend, perhaps even
advance monumental changes. Here’s the deal:
when I get going my explosive nature reacts to
the atmosphere making things worse. All I do
is accelerate global warming, kidney failure,
cancer while you ooh and ah. I hurt the
planet. I injure you. Alluring, lethal,
                                  and bursting with karmic energy.
As I die, you expire. Our
                            fates nothing more
                        than one
                 doomed
       intertwined
conclusion.

Premium Member Pursuit of Brain Capacity

This magnificent computer
which resides within our head
How amazingly it reacts
to information that it's fed

No matter what age
we have achieved
New neurones will develop
if practice is conceived

It's said that we only utilise
ten percent of brain capacity
I am aiming to achieve much more than that
forever in pursuit of sagacity

Here are two examples my own I do present
nine months ago began writing poems many edits then were needed
With constant practice a deficiency of skill is superseded

Can now sit for half an hour
a poem will be spawned
Mostly now no editing original poetic thoughts
 on paper they have formed

Began these online poetic presentations just four months ago
two finger typing very slow has now increased speed by tenfold
Not sufficient skills there yet to type if I was shackled to a blindfold

What is now an exciting discovery, handwriting
with lead pencil improves brain connectivity
My pencil's always sharpened
like my brain and there's improved receptivity

Listen to music also magic for the brain in 432 hertz frequency
but to play a musical instrument that's even better
Connects left/right brain hemispheres
Don't ever give up! Many neurones there to unfetter

Premium Member Pendulum Persuasion In Crystal

Pendulums have been used for divining -
for finding bombs, water and gold ore
But you just need a crystal on a string
to find some answers you are looking for!

There’s something that you really want to know -
like where’s the key you lost and cannot find
or where’s the best vacation spot to go?
The answer lies in your subconscious mind!

It may not be a question of where, but when.
Is it the proper time to start anew
or should you do the same old things again?
There are crystal pendulums to guide you.

Is there someone that you wish to wed?
For decisions of the heart, you will need
a crystal pendulum in pink or red.
Your mind has answers that you ought to heed!

Are crystals magic, or do they just guess?
How can they really know what’s right for you.
You must establish what means NO or YES.
There’s one thing that you first have got to do.

Reactions of your nerves the crystals gauge.
So while the crystal hangs from string or chain,
you’ll see it move. Your mind’s eye sets the stage.
From your fingers’ nerves, answers you will gain.

Ask questions to the pendulum for which
the no’s are definite, and be aware
how the crystal moves before you switch
to answers yes. Keep practicing with care.

The crystal only answers yes or no,
but once you have connected to the way
your pendulum reacts, you’re good to go!
Get answers for yourself on any day.

Black crystals work if danger you should face.
Creative answers amethyst can show.
Not just a pendulum of time and place -
for almost anything you need to know!!

Untitled

Darkness looms, even in the stariest of night.
Fears come forth attacking those with sight.
You hinder, you holler, but no one can see, what my minds eye is trying to tell me.

I myself cannot, place a finger hold.
I myself cannot, hear what is told.
I myself cannot, be ever so bold.

With shaking hands, and knotted gut,
Thoughts litter the soul, for what?

Anxieties fester, emotions run high,
Dreams or visions flying by.
What is truth, neigh it false?
Be it death or with a pulse.

Aromas, auditory signs come with;
having sight, not always a gift.
When one cannot gather what's meant to be.
Why was sight given to me?

The dead come, memories they share.
Of people I don't know, raping my mind bare.
Messages, colors, gems or smells.
Reminders that not all is well.

Nor Gods, nor demons, we understand.
Nor Angels, nor the power of the common man.

Nor past, nor future shall bestow.
Her eyes show only transverse modes.

To feel others pains, to share in their sorrows.
Makes life unbearable at times, to search for brighter 'morrows.

To keep the secrets from prying ears.
Acting normal for many years.
To bear the fruit of others labors.
Wish upon wishes, thankless favors.

"Turn to your tarot cards" my horoscope did say.
I have yet to do so, till this day.
May it be because of fear.
May it be because I don't want to hear; what spirit may speak.
May it be because I don't want to seem weak.
Black magic,
Voodoo dolls,
Fortune tellers,
See'ers of all.

Shall I choose to open the cards?
Being sure to take safeguards.
Only seek the light and love.
Only seek the information from above.

It is odd when a spirit takes hold.
As though you're not listening to what's being told.
Your body reacts in so many different ways.
JUST TELL ME ALREADY, my minds ablaze.
When unable to tell if good or bad.
Sensations have been known to drive people mad.
What ever it was has since returned.
This story is what's happening, pages turned.
Colors and whispers, they unfold.
There is something unfortold.
BUT WHAT? PLEASE JUST TELL ME?
OR OTHERWISE, PLEASE JUST LET ME BE.

Crimson Rain

On a still...ancient horizon,
Massive dragon wings emerge,
To the atmospheric battlefield.
Where two legendary beasts,
Clash for the love...of a dragoness.

A battle of mythic proportions,
Of two stonily serpents in the sky.
Only three dragons remain,
The two wary warriors,
And the dragoness they fight for.

The flap of enormous wings,
Thunders the air abroad.
The fire in the sky illustrates,
That the battle has begun.

Fierce deafening roars,
Rape the quiet Delphi skies.
In a solemn brave attempt,
To win the dragoness’ heart.
She rests...nestled in the mountains,
For the winning warrior’s return.

Strident screams pierce the heavens,
From the vicious violent brutality.
Aggressive attacks resonate,
Vibrating her lair of stone,
As she shivers in despair and wonder.

Sharp talons pierce the scales,
Shredding the tissue of life.
Effervescent mists spray,
Staining the clouds with gore.

A thud hits the landscape,
And her attentive attention reacts.
Waiting with complete ambition,
A second thud thumps the landscape.

Curious eyes creep from the cave,
She wrestles with the thought of extinction,
As both...her warriors are slain,
Laying lifelessly...in a crimson rain.

Premium Member Life of Age

The light is strong and clear and full in the wholesome salad days.
The mind reacts to, reasons and accepts its fool but disguises it in many ways.

We stride with purpose strong into the wind with confidence that creates our shapes.
We find a depth of courage that no well can consume, foolhardy naïveté stakes it’s claim

Like an aged barrel of oak half filled with wine hollowness intrudes into our later days.
Like watching shadows form where the sun don’t shine the exuberance of youth begins to fade.

Reflection pictures gravity over years and years of toil, of living, of strain.
Reflection captures what we don’t want to see, the reality of a life of age.
