Knowing You Knowing Me

We've known each other for a while now
I think its fair to say
I haven't met anyone like you
not ever, not to this day

when our eyes really first met
something inside me began to stir
I was unsure what to make of it
so I shrugged it off without a care

weeks have passed by, our conversations keep flowing
like raindrops from above, the topics have no warning.
The more that we explore, the greater my yearn
to travel the footprints of thought
that leave tracks across your mind.

time flies fast, its almost a blur
we've know each other over a year now
and you have become a mama.
I've never seen you so happy
a miracle from above, I am sure..
I love how your eyes are smiling
This is a picture I adore.

it was at this point, when I looked into your eyes
that what bothered me before came back to life
the stirring within came out of the blue
it was then I realised it was fuelled by you.
still unsure what it was within
I just looked up and gave you a grin

Its 2 in the morning, I should be asleep
each time I close my eyes, its you I see.
For a second there is blackness, and everything is sound
then from nowhere, your face is found

My arms reach out, to hold you tight
to hold you close throughout the night
but like before, you were not there
so this again, I'm hugging air!

Finally, my brain gives up and sleeps
but still you find me in my dreams
but in my dreams your there with me
so this is now the place to be.

its time to wake up, I feel exhausted
my brain feels fried, there was no off switch.
All throughout the night, you and I danced away
under the moonlight, with the stars on display
upon cloud tops, high in the sky
where angels sit to watch you and I

Sorrow was what it took, for me to realise
what love was, and how it thrives
where it starts, how it feels
how it hurts, but how it thrills..

I feel like I could fly, this stuff is better than Red Bull
I've never been so high, the feeling is astronomical
and to think the reason why, I feel so invincible
Is because I looked into your eyes
and was touched by your soul..

I leave it to fate, to decide what will be,
to see if theres a future for you and me.
You are one of a kind, you are my friend.
I've never met anyone like you..
I dont think I will again!

Have you ever seen bullfrog green jump across a Lilly pad?
Did you ever see gold moth bathing in a moonshine bath?
Do you watch as teal raindrops bless and baptize the stream?
Will you hear the wood windmill song it sings each spring?

I walk real close to the sandy coast where Nana and I share things
She told me once always have fun always be true and dream
I recall those days her voice her face I can still see her smile
The dandelions seemed less boring to me a wild city child

Papa came into the house with his muddy blue overalls
His gray mustache seems to shout louder than Pa talks

“The time is close and he is nearly broke come if you want to see
The albino pony being tamed from the only pack of wild ones near the creek”

My eyes grow big and I must admit I love excitement of any kind
So I dropped my book to have a look and ponder the pony so fine

The pony kicks and then it sits as if one final stubborn nerve exists
Then it saw me it started to scream and have all kind of fits
Papa says whew! This one likes you! Why don’t you say hi?
I was really too scared and had never dared to ride a pony or try

But for some reason I had a season of unusual courage to spare
I climbed the fence went straight to him
The pony with ice eyes white hair

As soon as I came close, he let out a little noise
It was as if he had hoped to find comfort in my voice

I didn’t know what to do or how I would earn his faith
But in a minute or two our eyes like glue
Stuck and we became mates

The pony calm was eating from my palm
And I feel a new esteem
Instead breaking the pony in
I feel he broke into me

Each day the boredom was swept away
By my pony friend indeed
I would feed him little treats change his hay
And he fed me spiritually

The pony still was a little strong willed
So no one was allowed
To ride him or take him anywhere
That was too far from the house
So times were slow even so the pony and I would play
He could do tricks and even dance a bit
If I ask him a certain way.

Pony bends and I get on him
Like the wind he rides to town
I find the nurse who was at church
And she calls others around.

So that summer I lost and found things
I would never willingly give up
Nana and kittens and Papa getting bitten
A pony and farm full of love.

Damp 1

DAMP 1
Out walking to where three valleys meet, past Dovestones, on a drizzly day. Low clouds hugging the hilltops, a grey shroud.

Dampness on my skin, I become part of the day. Slowly soaked to the skin, walking with my friend.
Earthy smell of wet grass assaulting my senses.

Misty weather, a favorite of mine. Time taken away from me, nature’s world grey and grand.

My eyes a camera, capturing this scene.
No sun here on this day. Grays matching dull green landscape.

Raindrops slowly falling, drifting down to the reservoir. Gentle wind blows over the water leaving ripples, pleasant to my eye.

The Broken Fairytale

Once upon a time there lived,
A beautiful girl and a man she loved.
So true was such their love,
There wasn't anyone who disapproved.

It had been love at first sight,
A fairy tale since that day.
The maiden had found the man of her dreams,
No one else needed to have a say.

They had done it all,
Candlelight dinners, shyly holding hands,
Kissing in the rain, dancing around trees,
Leaving intertwined footprints on white sands.

But it wasn't just another love story,
It was uniquely special like every other one.
They had eyes for no other but one another,
The best part of their lives had just begun.

They traveled around the world,
And she kissed her man at the seven wonders each.
People would smile at the storybook couple,
As they counted stars standing on a beach.

With her, he was the man he wished to be,
The one who wouldn't think twice,
About pulling her up to dance in a crowded train,
He'd protect her, keep her happy at any price.

He'd see through her weak smile,
All the way to the tears inside,
He'd whisper sweet things in her ear,
Hold her till all the tears dried.

Though they did have a fair share of problems,
They always came together again,
No matter what happened,
Like raindrops on a window pane.

On a rainy day, she had sat waiting,
Wondering about the surprise he had promised,
But he never came,
For the winds of fate had suddenly changed.

Five years after that day, she found herself alone,
Sitting on the porch, counting stars on her own,
As she recalled the day he had been taken from her,
'An unfortunate accident' on the next the papers had shown.

She hadn't cried on the phone, she hadn't cried on the way,
She didn't even cry when she had to identify him,
Not a single tear or a heartrending sob.
She just stared ahead with an expression so grim.

It was only when she had received his belongings,
The remnants of his last minutes, did she react.
She screamt and cried, laughed and wailed,
For among others, was a diamond ring beautifully packed.

His surprise, the laughter in his voice,
The excitement, the secrecy of the evening.
He had been right, it had left her breathless,
But he wasn't there to see the sorrow it did bring.

Even now her eyes brimmed with tears,
As she looked at the ring as it sparkled,
And thought of that time when there lived,
A beautiful girl and a man she loved.

garden and pick lilies of a different me and us the secret of our life he knows he found the loss and gains he respects in exploration and of course enjoying what clean air mist the sweet aroma skies taking notice of what is his high above the tattered bleeding soul hurt depress tears misunderstood blood pain blood bath unorthodox you see everlasting and eternal earthly propositions and other love gains we made that request down by the highest tower peak just look up and I will lift my eyes too unto the hill for where my help comes from helpmate status rose to my soulmate a kiss of two souls completely engrossed tantalizing in and out waves blowing truth in the wind and of waves soaring searching in and where this Alpha and Omega the beginning the end wind is amorous our of my existence it came from the Lord of lords I am my beloved and my beloved is mine he continues to feed among the lilies
Around the cornerstones and he tells me to turn away my eyes from him for
The beautiful wonderful feeling is blowing in the wind The fragrant rosed across the valley stream sweet mist was across the field! I- All the way to the firmament! the fire burned out doubt and destroyed fear my beloved came home And the corner we turned. But!
Sprinkled raindrops appear upsprings emotions And with a little smile up the road, we roam all up and down the space mountain stone walls
open gates over the place we call home. Shifts high we could not believe the next-level gratitude gripped our hearts with tears of joy flew and kissed the nectar that connects soul to soul
The brain vein kissed my breast the connect the thread of the veil
blood flowed but the vein pulsated love is just what God is Love expressed a journey of no regrets The sky was blue around the milestone
Crosswalk staircase stairs way up in Glory. We do rejuvenate many hands lifted up to glory up lifted hands reached up in adoration when dreams showed signed adoration too As I gazed out my window across the rustic lawn looking up at the sky thinking what a dream I had what is the interpretation of this to me in my everyday life? I wonder about this my dream one
The sky was blue no gray clouds.!.

It's Because of You That I exist Today

" IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU THAT I EXIST TODAY"

Tormenting pain of wounded broken heart,
Kept haunting me down, were all shadows of my past.
Extreme agony & sorrow had been killing me quietly..
I've been wishing to end them all,
So at last! I could truly be free!
Perhaps more sticks of cigarettes,
Or some bottles of wine can bring
me to death,
Easily & slowly everyday...

Staring upon the ceiling, right through my window, down to the floor, I see...
Then my door opens wide and closes whenever I want it to be.
Each tick of the clock and printed dates on a calendar for each and everyday..
Everything seems to be telling me this wonderful thing;
"Please..Don't ever give up...
It's because of you that I exist today."

Weeds and plants outside my home
Live and grow without my care..
The sun keeps shining everyday for me which never fails..
The same is true with the moonlight by the horizon,
Or the growing noise of the raindrops falling..
The fresh and soothing air
Can't hide the truth that keeps on telling me..
" Cheer up!!!..Don't you know? It's because of you that we exist today."

Looking at myself, my hands and feet, holding them gratefully..
Despite all odds & tough days
they've been faithfully serving me..
Neither one of them had failed
Nor a single beat of my heart
has ever said,
It is done! and it's giving up on me!

Oh! What life could've been for me?
When they fail to do one thing
As I do with myself today!
When I look beyond my eyes I can see around me..
All things therein have been crying out so loud & clear, I see!
" That I should never give up!
For it's because of ME that they exist today!"

If every breath I take each moment,
Is here in this world for free
And the Sun keeps shining everyday
For you & me...
All things I dream to have
Must've been waiting so long
to get to me.
Never again! would I ever complain except saying "THANK YOU" everyday!
For everything that ever exists today,
Are in MY world because of me.

Each smile I give you everyday when I pass you by..
Sweet hugs or kisses
Respect and kindness with all sincerity,
I can give them all to you now, for free!
For today, I've realized...
I LOVE YOU...is no longer hard to say...
So please believe me if I say..
"You deserve to be loved..
For It's because of you that I exist today..."

With minds like crystal prisms, they shatter light into every spectrum of possibility, foreseeing storms before the first cloud, hearts bruised by premonitions whispered on the wind. Yet, they dance in the rain, a silent symphony of knowing played on a smile, for theirs is the terrible gift of seeing the tapestry of fate woven a thread at a time, even as it pricks their fingers.? Huzefa Nalkheda wala

Hiking up the mountain, in pairs
You and I, just two more
Who settle the moments with hope,
For the tenderness that comes to life
Inside those who can feel
Feel, like you and I…

Laughter, giggling, ambling
Wandering over stones, dark pebbles,
Gravel roads, meant for those,
Who can see beyond the forest’s singing,
Into the poetry, the faith, the need
For silence that assures and agrees,
Feeling just like you and me…

Words fall between the friends,
Moist in the air – like the slow, soft breeze,
Words in rhythms, tones of light,
Feelings, blessing away the past, suspended,
In the hues so bright,
You and I, feeling so alive!

When the rain begins to melt the sugar sweet
Salty skin, trembling, beginning to believe,
We might make our way to our intention…

Only we feel the showers, melting the hours,
Blessings in liquid, spilling over the naked trees,
Spinning stories of lonely, breathing
Light as the shadows deepen, pouring over the soul,
Embracing the moments, assaulting each of us,
Pouring out a cleansing afternoon cloudburst,
Like music, she soothes and comforts…
And, as the pairs of our friends race toward shelter,
I catch my words in the back of my mind,
Not telling you – yet, somehow you can feel my message
In the heart…

As we move slowly beneath the downpour,
Securing our last place in the refuge of our vehicle,
Where the rain falls in sheets on the glass,
Refusing to listen to our wiper’s urgent swabbing,
Almost as immediately as the hand wipes the tear,
Who appears…

When you and I realize, at last, our dream has passed,
And, we’re merely walking among the shadows of the past,
Where floods of memories, like that downpour on the trail,
Sends us back to that place we always meant to forget.
Inside my chest – is that satisfaction or regret?

Never, in a downpour yet, have there been tears so alive,
As this homesick moment has shuddered and died!
