What Turns Me On

What turns me on
I get up in the morning just to watch the sunrise.
I look at all the beauty, but I cannot surmise.
The colours spreading round the sky,
 the light begins to grow,
From the great orange, pink ball,
from which all life does flow.

The birds they start to make a noise the Robin is the first
It’s the blackbird noise that make us cringe, it is by far the worse.
The fresh clean air of a morning so bright
Can do nothing but make my heart feel light
Another night has come to an end
Another day to make a stranger a friend.

These things make my juices flow, the spender of it all
The wide variety of everything, including that big ball.
It rises quicker now, and the light is getting bright,
We hope and pray it will shine all day
And get us through un-til to night.

The warmth we feel kissing our skin, the flowers open to embrace it,
The spiders start to spin their webs, all fancy, full and lacy.
The insects start to buzz and set off on the breeze
Their job is set for the day= to pollinate the flowers and trees.
What more could we ask, to set our day off right,
we have woken up again after another long, long night.
There are many that did not wake this day,
Be glad you are not one of them
So give a thought, to your God and thank him now
 Amen.

Can'T Let Go

Can't Let Go

Can't let go of the feeling....being lost without a cause just cause....
I have no Clause....no calls to being some one's....(belonging to no one)....
not just anyone's....but that some one who would always want me for me...
not who I could be...I can't let go of...
short passages with no aim in this poetry stained game...I stay a slave to...
making my pen engrave the words quicker then my mind thinks....
filling the paper with empty but thoughtful passages links...to a piece of my heart
yet another wasted unpublished word art...
I part with no dashes...write about lost and found love....
yup staying a slave to this felling I can't let go of....

Fighting with such a discretion when my mind thinks...
Visioning alphabetical words when my eyes blinks...
Jotting down so many sentences my hand stinks...
being a slave to this poetry stained game links
to a piece of my heart yet another wasted unpublished word art....

The View You Choose

Somedays I feel like I'm surrounded by bars and bricks,
chained up in a round cage with tar that sticks.
And I can't see any stars in the sky at night,
nor does the sunrise to provide daylight.
It would be nice to see just a flicker,
a shooting star or something quicker,
since there's nothing bright for my eyes
from the skies where hope lies.

Yep, hope lies, Pinocchio in disguise with no nose,
nothing on show to let you know if the deceit flows
from mouths where noses would grow.

So you turn to alcohol and slowly increase your dose,
until you doze and awake with the shakes that alcohol creates,
to make yourself steady,
you get out the glass, the coke and the voddy
and drown yourself down into the "junkie" category.

Somedays I feel like I'm surrounded by bars and bricks,
so I drink water and take vitamins to get far from my minds tricks.
I see a full moon but no stars in the sky at night.
There must be a faint cloud blocking that far travelled light.
I feel that just the moonlight moves me to comfort,
I perk as I forget today and all that work.

Tomorrow is another first,
I think life offers more than I deserve.

Two Thousand and Three

My years grow larger, faster
after the
age of twenty one, insurance
dropped
lower
quicker, even after my
fender
bender.
On that twenty first day
Twenty
two
two thousand and two, a year
unsuccessful
unambitious,
Mostly that is.
By the end
I gathered my priorities,
Became an independent king.
Met a girl
Elizabeth
Spanish
Latin queen.
Still to this day
she haunts my dreams.
Before me, she was
with a she
together, a pair of queens
I, her first guy.
cohabitation, compromise.
After dissolution,
our rugged eighteen months,
she left me
for her queen
this heartless sex fiend
Faithful to me till the end of
Two thousand
Three...

Triangle, Power of Your Consciousness

A simple triangle, A World of Gods, A Fired Geometric Gem
Explore the power of consciousness, how a triangle& its sacred symbolism can help us think & act with clarity each day.
World can be massive. As humans we often find ourselves trapped in thoughts & emotions, entangled in the nature of our physical existence.
Some can cut through its matrix better than others as if they contain special ability to think & act with clarity. Looking at things from above where the whole makes sense. As a result, they link dots in a pattern of events quicker, always finding the right answer!
the #3 has always been considered as the most sacred number across the majority of religions & esoteric traditions:
For Example:
Christian faith: represents Trinity, Father (God), Son (J. Christ) Holy Spirit.
In Buddhist tradition: ‘The Triple Gem’, Buddha (enlightened one), Dharma (teachings), Sanha (disciples)
Taoism – the Great Triad – Heaven-Human-Earth
In “New Age” #3 is often associated with unity of Spirit, Mind & Body.
CIRCLE – unity, oneness, wholeness – source & origin of everything aka God.
TRIANGLE – dynamic force of creation, often referred as Fire of Consciousness.
SQUARE – stability of Matter in the manifested physical world.
Ready to take a flight? Fasten your belt we are going breathtakingly high

Tiny Dancer

Ash falls off the mantal
Into the carpet
Like a target
White to Grey
Just like my face

Loved you like a movie
Slow beginnings
Quicker endings
But every moment
Was worth the pace

You're in my bones
You're skin deep
Feels like a welcome home
But im the black sheep

I miss dancing under string lights
Elton John, tiny dancer in the night
You left me hanging like those lights
Surrendered all my rights
Just for a conversation or two
Ruined myself all over again
Just to aid and abbet you

Flashbacks of you
Feel like snow
in the middle of june
Out of place
But gone too soon

My love was a promise
I swore to keep
It was eternities long
And Oceans deep
Had to throw it all to sea
Just to forget me

Premium Member Freedom Remembered

In a zoo in a strange land
a zebra stands
flaunting the bright stripes
 of a collective band
against the russett tussle of leaves
that exit trees before a cold wind.

He is far from the windswept plain
of his dreams; that parched place
where drought adapted trees wane,
until at last renewed by rain,
an over-night fantasy of growth
 glides greenly,
quicker than evening-tide.

Here, where Autumn has a strange glow,
bare trees, steal the dapple from his coat.
Knee deep in a pile of red leaves
he yields the life blood of his soul,
flowing from a freedom remembered

Doing It

Doing it doesn't mean “that” does it
Eating around the hole to save the middle
We were only trying to eat donuts
(Or was it a doughnut or two)
We walked out of town for a little bit
In our shoes to make it quicker
Doing it for coffee seemed the right thing to do
Why did you do it that way they asked
Doing it in the pasture seemed faster somehow
To a cow who produces milk for pleasure
Wearing rubber gloves helped
Kept us dry while doing it
Coffee needs sugar as well you know
Rain seems strangely wet when in the grass
Cigarets don't work against the wind
And when doing it for an accompaniment for coffee
How can that be a sin
It is not doing it for that alone
Doing it at night
Is doing it in the dark
When you are doing it
Try to do it safe and sound
It never gets done right any how
Whatcha doing now
Doing it for the sake of doing it
Then do it before we go to jail
Kick the bucket over too
Leave no evidence for the cops
Pray they find a donuts shop
Instead of doing it to us
I like doing it
Me too

Cupid Goes To Hawaii

Cupid the sweet saintling of Love Village decided to go visit Hawaii
Always dressed in a dapper diaper he looked love struck and dashing
with frosty gold hair combed just so and silver tip wings oh so fancy
he pours love into hearts quicker than a penny in a bucket goes, ping !

When he landed on land he saw pineapples and Hawaiian luaus too
rounded hips slow swaying and voices greeting him like an old friend
They draped leis on his shoulders then said "welcome to Honolulu"
where dreams come true for everyone, yes we got the magic blend;

So they put him on a pedestal for he was after all messenger of love
he surfed in Lanai, Pineaple Island of sweet , oh you should see Him
shooting arrows as he walked on water, fitting them all like a glove
Lei skirts ruffled and feet shuffled, as the stars shone beneath a rim

They danced and they danced far into the night for love was finally here
Cupid did it once again in his dapper diaper and gold tipped spear.

Forever and After

So this is what the myth and legends were made of
Why the Gods painted stars and Moon to the sky
Why the wolf howls at night and birds sing by day
How lost pets find their way home

But you have never heard this before
Not seen the way a room changes with you in it
The way the light hums around you
That laughter shines out of your eyes

How fast the world spins with you in it
When hours blink by like minutes
Hearts beat quicker, hands and lips tremble
Did they not tell you how joyous you are?

Has no-one ever told you what happens when you are gone?
The space you leave behind when you are not there
Like a shadow, an imprint on my heart
A secret code that beckons me to find you

I never thought I would, or even that I could
That you may even exist - I had forgotten
A fairytale dream, pushed away by adults
Yet here you are, before me

Now I am the fool for not believing
Wondering, what else I may have missed
Pledge to miss no more, and to hold on tight
Never to let you go and to let you know it

To take you as you take me
You are mine and I am yours
With love and laughter
Forever and after
