Doing It
Doing it doesn't mean “that” does it
Eating around the hole to save the middle
We were only trying to eat donuts
(Or was it a doughnut or two)
We walked out of town for a little bit
In our shoes to make it quicker
Doing it for coffee seemed the right thing to do
Why did you do it that way they asked
Doing it in the pasture seemed faster somehow
To a cow who produces milk for pleasure
Wearing rubber gloves helped
Kept us dry while doing it
Coffee needs sugar as well you know
Rain seems strangely wet when in the grass
Cigarets don't work against the wind
And when doing it for an accompaniment for coffee
How can that be a sin
It is not doing it for that alone
Doing it at night
Is doing it in the dark
When you are doing it
Try to do it safe and sound
It never gets done right any how
Whatcha doing now
Doing it for the sake of doing it
Then do it before we go to jail
Kick the bucket over too
Leave no evidence for the cops
Pray they find a donuts shop
Instead of doing it to us
I like doing it
Me too
