Premium Member Morning Song

My heart sings a morning song
I feel its soothing warmth
yellow sunshine drips down the dale
far and beyond

a whiff of enchanting breeze
skipping up and down the hills
whispering priestly prayers
all over the world

like clouds my soul drifts
freely among the towering cliffs
visualizing beauty so pristine
everywhere

nature cradles life with love
embracing each and everyone
singing gloriously to us
the morning song

and then my heart sings this morning song
skipping up and down the hills
far and beyond…..

Ode to Mantis, the Avenger

Aah ! Mantis Madonna, the Avenger !
we salute your deepened empathy
your telepathic and combat martial skill,
ability to neck kill in quiet strength those
forgetting connection for correction —

How hard you trained with disciplined alien hierophants, unknowing what was in store, insectoid eyes witnessing xray life beneath facades, against all odds in any pod galore
hail we your embodiment as femme fatale
arum alone you dwelled when memory erased

Surely your creator, then priestly Pama nurturers
knew attributes needed to confront Darkness —
control over body-mind, agility, endurance
superior deductive abilities, one to shatter
steel, exact intuition, loving across dimensions
Aah ! Mantis Madonna, the Avenger !

Mobile your compact body, changeable
invisible can you transmute it, one who
instantly perceives weak, strong gaps ~
of mixed gene origins, standing in stead
graceful your dances transfix, entrances

Magically mystical you fantasmorgorical
were conceived cutting storylines, timelines
astral travelling coding advanced healing skill
elfin efficiencies, occult knowledge top-notch
vibrating in cells, as rituals you perform in storm

Average humans we can but stand in awe
imbibing thaumaturgic miracles as we gape
Mantis escapades, reflect on deity energies
with flashes of insight that we too have
capacity to bend realities for good of all —

Goddess intergalactic madonna on comic
pages but a stimulus for our psyches
where futures are conceived, flute believe
geoshaped by wills from colonial brutalities
tough treading human evolution threading
Aah ! Mantis Madonna, the Avenger !

we ode your character unfolding
quantum revolutions as a 3D green niece
praying lands, hands together on moist
marigold fronds, for us to curtsy
                  before another cosmic fly-off
                                  go green queen, go !

Gods' Angel Among Us

Gods' angel among us
she's like a fresh and lovely rose
that angels planted, then God chose
though a sweet, caring and loving soul
Gods' angel among us
for this woman's full of love
was she not directed from above
like a shadow, ever there;
Gods' angel among us
of which no one is aware
she never seeks attention
as underneath God's banner's folds
Gods' angel among us
but deep within her heart she knows
her special grace and wisdom from God
she is "in Christ", created in the image of God
Gods' angel among us
her arms and her heart are open
given a special gift, by God's grace
God's beautiful and poetic masterpiece!
Gods' angel among us
chosen by God for priestly work
a wise, hospitable, and humble servant

It's Time to be a Priest

It's time to be a priest,
a mediatory agent of God
appointed and anointed
to help the people to impart

in America, we're in chaos
with ICE running amok
killing people and using children as bait
to arrest immigrant adults
so what are we as individuals
going to do?
are we ready to put our feet on the ground
and intercede too?

it's time to be a priest
to take up the cause
to operate as delegates
and bring about a pause
to stop the craziness
that has taken a hold
to stand up for our fellow man
to be priestly and bold

are we ready to camp out
to stand in the gap?
as we carry the presence of God
like the Ark of the Covenant on our backs?
we need to work with God
as co-laborers in the trenches
to get down in the dirt
and if we have to climb over obstacles and fences

we need to be courageous
with an inner resolution
to face our fears and overcome them
by possessing a strong constitution
to find the courage to do more than just pray
but to act as well
because if we do nothing, we will all die anyway
and probably go to hell
we need to be obedient
to God's command
to pay attention to that
which of us He demands
to follow His directives
to move forward according to His plans
to cleave to His righteousness
and hold to His mighty hand
we also need to operate in purpose
to move with a godly intent
to understand our objective and duties as priests
to the fullest extent

It's time to be a priest
to be mediators appointed by the Lord God
courageous, obedient and purposeful
standing in the gap
when it comes to matters of the heart

Its time to be a priest

horn music

Horn Music

In the late forties and middle fifties
horn music and military marches tunes
were often parlayed in the town's park
and we lived nearby and bore the brunt
of this noisy music
to complain was not easy as the music
was seen as an expression of freedom
chasing the German army out of our
cherished country, admittingly with
the help of the Russian army, the
British took the credit
Horn music is simply horrible to enjoy
the noise one has to be unmusical
one would think the noise had stopped
with the arrival of modernity, rock and roll
and Elvis Priestly, but no
I was invited in the eighties to read a poem
in Oslo. When my turn came to read
the horn orchestra struck up.

Premium Member I come to you with the sunset

I come to you with the sunset,
Love becomes in me a priestly service.
Teach me how to keep silence as a compass,
How to dance on the strings of unsaid time.
At your threshold, I leave all my worries,
Here I rest my steps that ran at dawn,
And at night, when stars become voyagers,
Your smile is to me a verse, a song, beloved.
At your place, the garden fills with flowers and rain,
With a rain of love, of divine feelings,
And the last drop melts into your wine,
In the chalice where destiny whispers to us, divine.
With you, I leave a linden flower, our symbol,
In the memory of a love that does not fade through ages.
And if you're called by longing, if you want me close,
Place another linden flower between the pillows, to warm your chilly evening.
With you, I leave my dream, my thought, and time,
In all that seems today so belated.
With you, it feels right to settle myself orderly,
In all the things that today I still do not know.
