Predictable, practical pose
as a simple sentence suggests,
accepting how the story goes,
while syllables shape silhouettes.
~ Simple scribbles serenade me ~
Paragraphs, hold poise and power
while illuminating passion,
and thoughts anticipate the hour,
forms flow in a feathered fashion.
~ Sonnets and sweet simplicity ~
Playful, parallel poetry
cause positions to part and pause,
dimensions divide, dive deeply,
and lines love to linger, because.
~ Synonyms sing a symphony ~

( 8 syllable count within each line )
he sat them down and told them
as of which time he would
change his name
and he felt that a certain sum of currencey
would conpemsate
for his time.
as of which time
he would have title and rank above all of those
he thought himself
superior to.
he fashioned aggreements and gave positions to others
that understood what he was saying.
he toughtother how to think like him
and told them why they should
submit to his will
and why such would be profietible for him
he gave reason and cause for dismissing
those he saw as foolish friviolous and even foul.
which words sdhall have those
who against the invisble
and he who is stupid.
then those that cheatest shall marry and him who
was right is lonely and dispaired.
than what he speakest is spoken as wordds of a foolish people.
that you are wasted upon the shores
of fooliivty
and that those in opposition
of you have gained and supported the trust
of those who have fooled you with deseat and destain
might they prosper
and you suffer from the loneliness of your own foolishness.
thus speakest he that sayeth this.
A night that truly almost never came
A number that I almost never called
And yet when I look back I am enthralled
Since then my life has never been the same
We met and I knew nothing but your name
How could I plan when nothing, I recalled
My nerves had taken over and I stalled
I never knew just how to play this game
I thought I’d just be safe for our first date
So I suggested dinner and a flick
A comedy should somehow do the trick
But, oh the choice of food was not so great
Though compromised, I made it through the night
And not one memory would I rewrite

"Compromising Positions" is a 1985 comedy starring Susan Sarandon.
It wasn’t a great movie but one that I will never forget.
The first
close-up of Mars was 1996 since then-
a flotilla of fly-bys orbiters landers and rovers
fourth planet from the Sun
roman God of war it is called
always the question is Mars habitable for living life
key to existence water is there water on Mars
could living creatures still exist
perhaps WE will become life on Mars
a continual chain of explorations finding new discoveries
polar ice caps
drifting clouds in its atmosphere
seasonal weather patterns
huge volcanoes the size of Arizona
canyons and proof of former flooding
it is rocky and cold and dry with a-
a hazy pink sky (that seems beautiful to me)
is Mars habitable for humans
the Curiosity Mars science laboratory
rover is on a bold exploration of discovery
for science
for technology
to find answers to questions and questions
did you know you could send
a postcard to Curiosity
the future holds promise with the launch in 2020
of a robotic science rover seeking life
all part of the Mars exploration
program to address the key question
the potential for life on Mars
And why 2020 you ask
well that is when Earth and Mars are
in the most advantageous positions of orbit
but for me there is another key question
would I-
leave this beautiful place of Earth
for a unknown existence
on a planet rocky cold dry with volcanoes erupting
but oh
something about that hazy pink sky beckons

Who is Not the Liar
By Franklin Price
1/17/2016
Who is not the liar
It's really hard to tell
When it comes to politicians
You should really know them well
Their first and main intention
Is to get your valued vote
If they have to lie to do it
It is not a thing of note
They're kind of like the internet
Because they said it, it is true
You better check up on it
It's the least that you should do
Don't vote and follow blindly
Don't just go with party lines
Evaluate the candidates
To see what's on their minds
And when your own position
Is as theirs that you perceive
Then look closely at their record
To see if that's what they believe
As I said at the beginning
If there's truth it's hard to tell
If they believe it, can they do it?
If they can it would be swell
But definitions of positions
For which politicians run
Make comments often meaningless
To get your votes and just for fun
When making your decisions
Taking votes down from the shelves
Cast for ones who think somewhat of you
And a little less about themselves
If I could write as dance,
sometimes get down mean
and sexy dirty blues,
recreating hybrid paradox
not safely translated in static
linearlanguage
These ecstatic moments
entered and left without embodied holy shadows,
remembered fondly wide
yet soulfully deep
in smiling spirited muscles
unwilling to let go of sensual life
breathing glistened music
Refrains training love moments to last through
passion rails of kicks and licks
balance taking giving leaps of faith
Earth will hold these swirling bones
bound arteries of flowing bliss
and dripping pulpy agonies.
Dance scripts unveil
moves and positions already body soothed
and smoothly loved
within Earth's luxury of kindness
and passion's balancing reward
Truth in and through beauty,
healthy love abundance in rich organic life
and peacefully arresting death,
pregnant silent pause.
I lust not merely right write
but dance
with each cell swelling to sing
big and small
fast then slow
up as down
around each day's choreography
on through abandoned freedom's passion night
If I could dance as write.
The groom sweeps pass the floor,
Like the flood does with her pride.
He matches pass the crowd like a moor,
Examining intensely while on his ride.
He flashes back the day of plan,
When he draft out the necessary file.
He readjusts his specs and span,
Bewitching the damsels with his smile.
He shoots out his lips like a pointed gun,
Directing it towards his anxious maiden.
At the order of the faithful clown,
He enjambs his lips with his charming colleen.
The chairs hops for Joy,likewise the bench.
They exhilirates their happiness and joy,
In tune with the lucky man's trench,
And elates residents like electronic toys.
A golden metal presents itself as a ring,
Straight into the bride's finger,
The two anonymous fingers cares to sling,
Causing a great applausation from the seaters.
He positions his feet as direct,
Holding unto his queen hands to hands.
They displays their style in music precept,
Grooving symtematically like the bands.
Being stressed after the lovely harsh day,
He strips off his rugged shoe and tie.
Resting on his lonely bray,
He heaves a sigh of victory; 'Bye!'.

Some associates in contact
have imposed important impact.
Those I love are placed in my heart.
I can never let them apart.
In life so many attachments
fixed positions as permanent.
I'm grateful to all of them :
Each is sparkling as shiny gem.
Some passed away, no more alive.
Some not in contact, I'm deprived.
Some have forgotten me, I know.
To every person, I must bow.
Even some had shown betrayal,
harming me, though being special.
I haven't forgiven : He or she
still walking side by side with me.
A word or two about my view of the politicians
we presumably put in positions of power
hobbyists bought and paid for under the table
catering to manipulating lobbyists by the hour
where saying nothing yet flapping their gums
offending no one when sitting on the fence
doing naught but wagging their tongues
and all the while protesting their innocence
dodging the bullet by ducking the question
avoiding the topic with digression
self-serving landing votes with glad-handing
fingers firmly crossed behind the back
conscience-free they sleep well at night
there's nothing (short of gun) can be done to keep them on track
those more than a few who are quite literally
caught red-handed with their pants down
making a mockery of you and me
should be tarred feathered and run out of town
Old testement judges, faced the wiles..Of the people, each had (a style. A skill?) Sampson
