Premium Member Great Britian I would advise,'

You will soon be facing March 2026..' Which as far as I am aware? Will be in
Many places.' Not offering local elections)

We often hear that 'all the power is held way beyond, the grasp of the general
Populace.' So maybe an apathy is grown
I wonder who that might benefit?

However why not ? As a whole nation
Refuse to vote altogther.' It looks as if
That may be a strong action..Against
All the machinations of a rouge system.?

That would negate any planned funneling
Of voters, any misinforming of people, in
Fact it would let the system filter through why it exists at all.? And whether elected
Mp's on the whole, work for the country or
Among themselves.? Or for G M O'S outside of the country.'

PET HATE ABOUT VOTING SYSTEM

Pet hate about the voting system,
      when populace mostly ignorant,
      misguided by political fame.
People to be fooled being innocent.

      Ultimate running autocracy.
Pet hate about the voting system.
       Perfect precise democracy:
      Unfortunate mass can hardly claim.

To choose a leader through party-name,
       stupid process in society.
Pet hate about the voting system.
      Truth suppressed: Party priority.

       Talents ignored: Party dominates.
        A monopoly in party-game.
        Pandemonium communicates.
Pet hate about the voting system.

CIVILISATION

Modern civilisation holds bare fact ,
to act, react and interact with tact
               never directed by moral values
               but circulated on selfish views.

As Time Traveller got scope to assess
how human civilization is on progress.

                   Self centred lifestyle is priority.
               Family bond showing no dignity.
               Affluence - Luxury to dominate.
               Love and Truthfulness deteriorate.

              Behaviour lacking in compassion.
              losing natural human emotion.
High living and plain thinking to relish.
Serene sublime soul not to embellish.

              Nasty tendency to overpower
              other country, inviting cruel war
leads to kill mass of common populace.
Progress propagates in shame and disgrace.

How to define human basic instinct ?
On introspection, it’s quite distinct :
Not hunger, not sex, not fellow feelings
but ruthless truth of mutual killings.

Crowned May Queen

As the music flows in my mind and soul in cheer
I dance around on my toes in the sun kissed fragrant fields
of wildflowers and tall emerald green grass yields
With a breath of life that dwells the day is near
For I’m favored to be the prettiest maiden here

All eyes will be on me in my white lace dress
and closed shoes I will astound with my hair in curls
and a crown of blossoms and leaves of green
when I'm honored with the crown of May Queen
a symbol of the stillness of nature surrounds
In which everything revolves around

Early bright is here with a clear blue unclouded sky
My friends and neighbors are all excited to their utmost ability
Townships and villages celebrating springtime fertility
Handsome couples gathering bouquets of flowers from nearby
decorating the whole town with springtime greenery and mystify

I lead the celebration up to the heart of town singing
Old buildings and tables are adorned
with scented blooms that leave you breathless
Populace displays all the elegance of their dress
Dressed in white, carrying garlands of flowers
and beaming children follow giggling and dancing

They place a crown of blossoms on my head,
I say a speech from my soul and set off the festivities,
with dance and overwhelming merriment
Musicians play their musical instruments with talent
with eating, drinking, jubilant music,
and courtly lovers dancing around the Maypole
A feast fit for a King, everyone enjoys
crafts, games, and carousel to console

With a breath of life at the age of sixteen
As the music flows in my mind and soul
I dance around the maypole
Favored for being the prettiest maiden seen
Honored with being crowned May Queen

Keys To the World

Keys to the world
By Michelle Morris
22/04/2023

We give the politicians the keys to the asylum
And then wonder why the world is going crazy
We the fearful and cowardly populace
Of a cruel dystopian existence

Why do we do this?
Why can't we stand together?
Surely even the most humble among us
Could do it so much better?

Instead of creating solidarity
We seem to be pitted against each other
Always somehow feeding their agenda
The one percent that does no lasting good

They'll convince you that they're awesome
They'll flood you with their humanity
But behind the scenes so often the truth
Is hidden in horrible ignominy

And yet we still give them all the power
We still allow them all to rule
Being born with a silver spoon
Is no cause to be given a throne

We keep giving the rich and powerful
Keys to the world at large
Like the most beautiful pearls from oysters
Where we're just left holding the shells

Having wealth and power is a privilege
Is doesn't make them any better than anyone
So often those velvet ropes they own
Are bought by leather whips on the backs of slaves

Those from savage shores afar
Those from savage lands so near
By labelling them as such
They convince themselves of human inequity

Forgetting the rights they trampled upon
Forgetting the lands they took by force
Building mansions and estates all over
And claiming they're elite and better than all

It's time for history to be starkly revealed
It's time for penance and monetary appeals
Let us snatch those keys from cold, rich hearts
And give back the land and heal bodies and spirits to all parties

We keep losing the keys to the power hungry that take it
But those are not the rightful choices
It's time to entrust the keys to those who've earned it
From lowly born to hard working humanhood

WINTER WONDERLAND

Once I chanced to see Winter wonderland
on honeymoon trip where amour shimmered slow.
           Mystic mountain sent astounding errand.
My first experience to look at snow.
Placid sky held Sun in pale passive glow.
Glossy grass playing with leaves of willow.

                  Rural area untouched by tourist
                    Habitat of innocent populace.
Severe cold morn greeted us with mist
. Soon abundant sunshine showered solace.
Free from pollution, pretty peaceful place.
Nature in elegance, glory and grace.

Small town divided into two portions
             Water supply and electric power
                under peculiar regulation
on intermittent interval of one hour.
Days were charmed with fragrant feral flower.
              Amazing ambient to embower.

We were whelmed in wonderful winter zone.
Spent night ,embraced tight in cozy sojourn.

Premium Member The Dragon of Haute-Savoie

At Pointe Percee
a dragon's lair sits
a guardian of Haute-Savoie

Lush meadows painted an emerald green
in spring, and in the autumn
cattle lie satiated in abundant pastures

A knight of the kingdom
entrusted with powerful effect of the very soul
shut in behind its high walls

Smiles spread across the populace faces
their hearts filled with such treasure
at the sight of a winged silhouette
spread across the sky

Scales shimmering silver blues
as the dragon blocked out the sky
flying passed the full moon
and on its back sat
the knight of the kingdom
of Haute-Savoie

All Stand

Here comes the President, of Our land, Our Nation.
He is tall and smart, and speaks from the heart.
Not always nicely.
Not everyone hears him, some wish he would be quiet.
Not everyone likes him, some wish he would resign.

I don’t care.
I dare.
I voted for him, because “they” were against America.
It does not matter which party I am.

I don’t care.
I dare.
I voted for him, because “they” were against America.
“they made that clear then… and now…”
(they held their hands up as one… I watched the debates…
I was horrified, as none stood for the Citizen’s of Our Land, not one)

I watched closely as the mid term’s provided bugs to eat the capital.
I stared at the screens of fake news while they built houses of lies,
neighborhoods of deceit, and unrest among the populace.
Great people in power pouring their gray water into the public drinking system…
That we may all feel so self important, as to now see …
Evil in fancy dress, living in castles on hills surrounded by poverty and disease.
(the return of the dark ages)
The sign post up ahead, “Welcome home.”

I found out the last guy left a mess.
No surprise…
Words like swamp have been around for years, so have the alligators.
Deals done in the dark, between offices representing all of us,
to steal gain, for self worth. Family fortunes,
made on the backs of peasants,
whose hopes and dreams were for a better tomorrow. (for all)
No surprise…

America the beautiful, the land of plenty, “In God We Trust”.
Everyone wants to come here.
(including the socialists and communists
and all those that hate her for their own personal reasons)
But so many instill fear.
We don’t want you…here.
Beware.
“WE” do care!
“We” will dare.
To stand up, stand for and stand against.
To have... upheld, to uphold and to;
hand down, hand shake or shake up…
anyone and everyone that try’s to stop…
Our President.

God Bless him, I voted for…
quit trying to impeach him,
he is doing the job.

         Very easy to feel pain
         in distress of any one
         Not that easy to be
         happy in happiness of other.
          Enjoy also bliss of other.

         If you can share sorrow,
         your grief will be less.
         Share other’s sorrow being selfless.
         When you share your happiness,
          joy will go more intense.

          Common sense, not so common
           in common populace as expected.
          A natural event follows logic.
           When falsehood shown as fact,
           It termed a Magic

Flaming Pterodactyl Pages

Did you see it?

It soared,
High up in the sky,
causing the blink of every eye,
loudly did it roar
 scaling tree and mountains divides.

I hurried to my laptop keyboard
typed in google to describe this backdrop
on the wide New Jersey highway blacktops
but it failed to quickly reveal the hordes
sweeping along the fields and garden crops.

Slowly did the wifi load aboard
the internet was about to explode without stop
a million entries scanned the sky of blue imploded hops
there was no answer to Aesop's fabled scores
slipping into conspiracy and wild theories told with plots.

I went on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter chords
it appeared the whole world was shaking in its jitters
afeared of stone age times returned aflutter and aflitter
disbelief, malcontents, deluged populace discords
  when suddenly my homework burned in emitters;

Right before me, flaming pages came to be crispy smores
 a well-done ghost,
my homework all but blackened toast
that's my story and I'm sticking to it
a flaming pterodactyl ate my well-done homework
just to settle all of google's scores.
