A Lily Standing On the Pathway Between March and April

The sun peeks his face out from the passing wind
still chilly and cold, and in this air the tree branches
stretch their arms to hold the sun as if sails on the deep and gray sky

The sun that is out of reach of a hand
may be a hope; no, it ought to be a hope

One night I saw a wayfarer, becoming a moonbeam,
going toward April stepping on the footmarks March
has left behind

Although he has gone through so many hills and high waters
with a knapsack on his back that was full with the countless
sentiments he put in it for pity’s sake, the sack was emptied;

for the lapse of time makes things wear and tear
his garment was worn to rags, and when the wind
passes through it penetrates the garment to chill the bone

The deep anxiety he is unable to shake off, and therefore,
reflected on the running water murmuring through the field
as ripples of moonbeam, which is not from the fleeting of time
or his sufferings while he was walking among the foes, but because
he is sorry for and worries about friends he has to leave behind

The friends, not many in number shared his happiness
at the time of banqueting, surrounding the table though
plain and simple, abundance in God;

at the time counting the falling stars lying on a stone pillow
by the gap between rocks. The friends, not in damnation but
in endurance and warmhearted understanding, talked about better day to come while burning the passions in the bone fire on a day when they were wet and shivering in early spring drizzle

For the days he was with his friends were too short,
it caused him an embarrassment in counting the days,
yet they were unforgettable moments of joyous and happy experiences

As he walked through the field with friends he talked about tomorrow
standing on the hill top side by side, he asked them to pray for him,
sitting on the sands by the water he sighed for he has to leave
the friends, the sweet and bitter memories behind

Nonetheless, he cannot just stand by a roadside as an emotionless stone,
he crosses the hill under the shade of a waning moon, and when
the humble hearted teary-eyed wanderer blooms as a lily on the other side of
the hill in dawning, the sunray fall on the lily on the dew
as hope to those who remember him, as happiness to the friends
he left behind, as the covenant of the Lord to all who trust in him

Extreme Conditions

A man sits down right on a bridge
In water he throws random rocks.
His main goal is plain and simple,
He wants to hit some swimming ducks.

The neatly stacked in brain thoughts,
Were put in there last night in bed,
Because the man needed some bucks
And found granules of dust instead.

The rage of poverty took place.
He just had no one in the world
To give his body an embrace,
So he could feel a little loved.

The present morning he woke up,
With all connected to revenge.
For all these years he had enough;
Existence pushed him on the edge.

He blinked a few times at the sun,
Which dingy windows hardly showed,
And briefly made his mind to run
At the nearest bridge he’d known.

There, with all his might he shouted:
“I’ve played your game too long this time,
Spiral ends, my souls have voted
The main learned lesson is all mine,

In the crude evolving stages,
I have survived with all my wits;
The brain passed the test of ages,
The body rotted from the roots.

Oh, the years of desolation,
You have condemned my being through…
My patience runs thin as paper.
I’ve had enough of all of you!

I want the game of life to stop,
And rewards for all I’ve suffered.
The seeded things I shall not crop,
The given land does not suffice.

Abrupt the torment has to end,
Your point has been more than proven,
There’s nothing else to understand,
I want to come back to the end.

In recognition for the way
Creation made me feel and think,
I only want the light of day
To turn into the night of death.”

If another could see the play,
And realize just what he hears,
The mirror of the lake would pray:
“Please shout your grief another way!

You’re scaring all the ducks away
And they’re just here for the water.
Your upset mood about your state
Should be told to another matter,

Which can be found solely in you,
Not in the lake, not on the earth,
So go and look a bit though
The pages of your memory!”

The other stood flabbergasted:
“Why should the lake talk to a bum?”
But his mind would soon inquire:
“Did you have a few drinks of rum

Or this is only consciousness
Going a bit towards insane?"
From simply creeping from wetness
Sadly it’s all what we became.

It may be painful to admit,
Despite the one given status,
Humanity is just a hint
Of what transcends the Universe.

The Carpenter

THE CARPENTER

The carpenter was studying a piece of wood,
Thinking about designing something nice and good.
But a vision entered then into His mind
About a day He’d take some wood down roads that wind.
He chose a nail from off the shelf and lift His hand
As the details of what He’d make began to plan.
But then He thought about another nail He’d see
When He would lay upon the cross of Calvary.
You see, those long, long years He labored there
In that small shop His foster father helped to care
Were years that He kept looking on ahead
To one large cross where He’d be left alone and dead.
And when He stretched His arms at end of weary days,
The shadow of a cross He formed in evening’s rays.
The patterns that He drew with plain and simple lines
Were just reminders of the plan of God Divine.
For this young carpenter who labored hard and long
Had left a home in heaven filled with angel throngs
To bear the sins of all mankind upon the tree
That those who trust might by His stripes be free.
This carpenter was not an ordinary man;
He was the Son of God in flesh and had a plan.
He shed His blood upon the cross of Calvary
And rose again to live on high in victory.
Some day this one called Jesus Christ will come and say,
“It’s time to resurrect mankind for judgment day.”
He’ll not be coming, lengths of wood to nail and saw,
But coming to create a world without a flaw.
So while you’re busy on your job whate’er it be,
Remember that this carpenter some day you’ll see.
Can you say you are ready for this coming king
And that you’ve been found faithful here in everything?
Or will you stand in shame when He will read your fate:
Eternity in hell because it’s now too late.
You shunned His grace and tried to go some other way,
And now you’ve come to final end of life’s short day.
You have the chance while there’s still time to make your choice,
So come to Him by faith today and lift your voice.
Just simple faith in what He said and did for you--
There’s nothing hard and tedious you have to do.
And when you do, you’ll find your life has meaning new
Because you let the carpenter live there in you.

The B.I.B.L.E. :The Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

how does one sustain and retain spiritual revival
to go to the next level and have spiritual survival?
how do you move higher and increase your faith
and not regress nor become stagnant?
we need to be saturated in God's holy word
read the basic instructions before leaving earth

if you can't seem to understand the manual of God
how can you know your purpose in life or even where to start?
we're all in this world trying to make some sense
dealing with reality hoping not to get warped nor bent
know your basic instructions before leaving earth
be aware of what it is that God wants you to know first

when reading His manual in order for everything to turn out right
you must follow the basic principles sent down from the Kingdom of Light
we always get in trouble whenever we veer from God's hands
we always have to struggle when we don't follow His master plan
but for the grace of God, but for His will
but for His mercy that you are here still

you can tell much about some people by how they maintain the Lord's temple
it's a way to measure their faith and obedience, plain and simple
so stop worrying about worldly possessions forget all of that stuff
don't be a slave to material things that can't help when life gets too rough
don't worry about what you have nor what you think you own
for all you see belongs to God, the Kingdom and the throne
it's a matter of trust, it's about putting God first
it's about reading the basic instructions before leaving earth

to grow in your faith just study the Word every day
and stand on It's foundation for It will guide your way
advance in godly spirit and discover your true worth
by reading your basic instructions before leaving earth
you're a child of Christ so exult and edify the Lord
use the Holy manual and all will be in accord
yes, the Bible is required for it's the focal point
It's the prerequisite for one to get anoint
for the Bible is the primary source for spiritual preparation
It's the guiding light to spiritual revelation
so read and study God's manual and develop a powerful thirst
for reading the Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth

In Reverse

Time and time again we talk about the guy
And people look at the females as if they are so high
Its plain and simple you can see it with your own eye
But their beauty and personality makes us look right by
Then the next thing you know the guys heart is left out to dry

The sweet, innocent, kind gentle female
They pay attention to every single detail
We try to size them up and put them on a scale
But at the end of the day the female will always prevail

The male race is beat down and put to disgrace
Laughed at if he is soft and fingers pointed in his face
A stalker maybe not really just because he likes to chase
Then days to minutes and minutes to seconds he has been replaced

The sneakiness of a female is an art
If you don’t pay close attention to them they will break your heart
A guy’s heart can be broken at the end or even from the start
Too strong to admit our pain and hurt we think we’re smart

Females are at times worse then us as they lie and cheat
The difference is that they don’t talk they are discreet
Even when we think the relationship is at a whole and complete
The female’s mind looks back on her ex and thinks revenge shall be sweet
Getting revenge on the wrong person should be obsolete

The male gender has more then what is seen
When we start out our girlfriend is are only queen
No matter what we will break up with you before we decided to become un-clean
Until that one girl comes along breaks us down and doesn’t even leave a vaccine

We now have the sickness that was given to us
It’s a horrible and contagious flu
Next thing you know it settles in and we can no longer be true
We cheat and lie and get what we want is what we pursue
We now run the streets wild and no when we look at a female we have a new view

We go to the doctor we even go to the nurse
They tell use there is no cure and this flu will only get worse
Going back and forth it cant be a sickness it has to be a curse
So before you females want to criticize and judge reach into your very own purse
And just know what your about to pull out and say think about it in reverse

Loves Me Like a Politician

Sung to the great single: "Loves Me Like A Rock." from There Goes Rhymin' Simon. (1975.)

(Half heard :)
The camera's got to be rolling, man. It's got to be rolling... Gospel Chorus: “ Ahhwoo…
Well, I'm running, yes I am. (Running, yes, he is!)
And I'm asking all of you. (Asking all of you.)
Now tell me, are you? ( Are you?)
Are you better than you were before? (Much Bet-ter than before.)
My opponent's had his chance. (He has had his chance.)
And I'm here to tell you straight and true
He's failed you. He's failed you.
He'll stand there and say I'm wrong
But you all know that I'm right (Yeahhh.)
It's got to be so plain and simple
That he's wrong. (Ohhh, he's wrongggg.)

So, let me promise here and now (promise here and now.)
That I'll do what I say I'll do. (Promise what I'll do.)
For I tell you people, who does (Whooo.)
Who does he think he's fooling? (Who does he think he's fooling?)
He'll tell you everything he's done. (Everything he's done.)
But if you care to look up his whole record
There's just nothing. There's nothing. (AAAhhh...)
He'll argue and scream and plead
But you just know that he is wrong. ( Ahhhh.)
The facts and figures tell his story.
That's he's just wronggg. (He’s wrong, he’s wrong.)

And if I should be elected now. (Yes, elect him now.)
The minute the people call my name. (People call my name.)
You know that I hear you! (HEARRR.)
Hear every word you're saying! (Hear every word you say!)
Just ask for anything you want! (Anything you want!)
Because I'm just a town hall a-way from you.
I hear you! I hear you! ( Yeahhh!)
I'm eager to preen and please
Because you know.. I'm here for you! (Yeahhhh.)
I represent the people truly,
I hear you! (Hears you, yes, he does.)
You all must know that I can hear you! 3x (Hears you, yes, he does!) 3x
Hear you every day and night now.
Hear you, yes I do! (Oh yes, he does!) (Repeat in staggered cadence and FADE OUT.)
(Insert Howard Dean yelp or yelps here!)
Hear you, yes I do! Hear you, yes I do! Whoop!
Hear you every night and day, now, hear you! Yes I do! (Repeat and FADE OUT :)

My Love For You:

In a world truly ugly I found one beautiful thing
This thing is a special someone who makes my heart ring
How did I find you and how do you exist?
You are on my mind every second because it is you I miss
Nothing in this vast universe can ever separate my feelings for you
All these words you are about to read are infinity percent true

I wish you were here so I could hold you close to me
I would let you know how great you are. I would make you see
Dipped in a sea of depression you pull me out all the time
You truly care about me and I am amazed that you are all mine
I wish you knew your worth because you are priceless
You give me a reason to live so now I’m not lifeless

You wipe away my tears and you kiss my lips
You sew my heart together so that there are no more rips
Every second you are gone I cry alone until you return
For you are the only thing in my life which makes my world turn
If I ever lost you I would waste away to nothing
I would give up on myself… I would give up on loving

No matter what you think I will always be yours until the end
In reality there is no end because you are forever my wife and my best friend
Even though we are far away and years will feel like forever
I can’t wait until we get to spend eternity together
When you are gone I can barely function
I wish you saw the pain I feel, but I swear I have no compunction

You are the one I choose because we are soul mates
There are no arguments and there are no debates
Plain and simple I need to be the one
It is you I melt for. It is over you I fawn
Please understand how bad I need to keep you around
You picked up my heart from the cold hard ground

I will never leave you behind. I will never give up
No matter how hard and no matter how tough
Black and white was my universe until you gave it color
Our love is forever strong and growing for one another
I am in love with you and there is no denying that
I will always feel this way… My feelings will never go flat

A Faint Hearted Whisper To My Beloved

A faint hearted whisper to my beloved

You asked me some weeks ago to write a poem about you.
Earnest to say that I'm surprised that I remembered because most of the time I'm usually lost in your big brown eyes,
I noticed.
Now don't get me wrong I do listen,
even though your voice refreshes me like white wine tastes,
mature,
delicate,
crisp,
firm and sweet,
it comforts my every guilty need.
Your cheeks full.
Add that shine to your face that is your smile that makes you complete,
so shine.

You miss me every moment that we do not speak.
I miss you,
I miss you,
whispers in secret the ghosts hear,
see my soul dance in the confusion,
it's like my words and yours are lost,
our words reek with hide and seek,
speak out aloud to my welcoming heart for it's that medicine it seeks.

I'm not a love poet.
That's true,
but I'll take that mouthful of fire ants,
swallow that whale in my mouth and not bite on my tongue as the words come out,

"I LOVE YOU."

Plain and simple,
like that first time I saw you under that neon light.
Vague in your appearance,
despite your curves whose rays shown bright under that warm smile,
cheeks plum and firm when you said,

"Hi."

Wide eyed,
and happy,
beautiful like flowers blooming after the rains have poured and now gone.
I, a victim like those many bodies that fell for you.
You're not to blame.
When your beauty is a masterpiece placed upon you unknowingly,
carved in your skin even you must feel the body tingles when you see the mirror image look back,
the art that is you.

Your body is my mattress.
Love, is the itchy woolly blanket that keeps us from the cold.
And your kisses are the warm thoughts.
Those body warming memories,
that remind us of that one moment,
were nothing mattered.
That simple cliché feeling that you sometimes wish,
with petty guilt,
could last forever.

Together.

A faint hearted whisper to my beloved.

Premium Member My Father

He woke me
For a reason
And I flung
Back the covers
That blinded me
I retrieved my sword
As he told me
Who has set foot
Upon his world
Without
Fear or favour
I set about
My task
No one will tread it down
Break it
Into pieces
Without my prying eyes
And my sword
By my side
I can hear
His boastful speeches
They screech upon my soul
That roar
I can’t deny
As I know
What’s behind
And what pride
Has to come
He may threaten
My Fathers children
But he is just clay
He has no real power
He fools himself
Just as they
He is only king
To those
That praise and graze
Around his thorny hills
I beg you
Don’t follow
This Fool
He will be the end of you
I know
I have parried
With him before
And will again
He will up
And run from me
Like the coward
He is
A despicable
Contemptuous character
That spews bile
From his hellish head
He colludes
And conspires
Among the evil few
His allies are invested
Infested
Against those
Like you
Look at his tricks
Look for ulterior
For they are there
Behind
His exterior
He is not a fan of
My Father
And definitely
Not one of mine
And I wear that
With pride and honour
Like my sword
At my side
I’ll let him know now
He won’t succeed
As we are many
We will
Set the time
And manage the laws
He is far from being superior
To us
As we are blind
To his royal front
He’s a liar
Plain and simple
Don’t be fooled
By his real-estate deals
It’s a trap
To trip you up
Blaspheme spews forth
From the lion’s jaws
But remember
Remember
The lion is toothless
His followers
Blind and delusional
And I
Await
In the south
With my sword
By my side
He will come
Again
And again
But I have more
On my side
Then he
Be wary
My nemeses
North and East
Are with me
And the people
I can only ask
Know your Father
Know His words
With this knowledge
You can
Resist

When the Heart Is Not Right

when the heart has gone bad and there's no blood moving about
the main organ that sustains us which we can't live without
the heart is the core and essence of each and everything
be It the church, the community, relationships or whatever life brings

Jeremiah had come along to preach about the Book of Laws
for mankind can't function in a system that has flaws
but the law is one thing and the heart is another
It's the thing that motivates our fellow sisters and brothers

If the heart is not right everything else will fall apart
so accept only those things that come from the Lord God
the heart is the one thing that the devil can't get
It's under God's control and contains the Holy Spirit
so don't put your trust in those things that are temporal
rely on the promises of God, plain and simple

when the heart is not right there's not much that you can say
all you can do is turn to Father God and then start to pray
pray that He will bless and anoint you with His mercy and grace
pray that His righteous hand will fall on you perfect in place
pray that whatever motivates your fellow Christians
comes from their heart, the essence that's within

If the heart is not right, It's time to seek The Lord
and hope everything in your life will be in accord
don't put your faith and trust in the hands of mere men
for mankind will let you down again, again and again
and whatever motivates you, let It come from your heart
allow your thoughts and actions to be spiritually smart
and be It the heart of the church, the community or your own concerns
may It be a heart of purity and goodness with the spirit to discern

lead us not oh Lord, to our own understanding
let our hearts be full of that which You are commanding
for You have given us love, power and a sound mind
so let our hearts be full of the knowledge and wisdom of God's kind
