On the subject of BORROWED DESCRIPTIONS ----My quest to appreciate my island roots

I live on an island in the Pacific region
The largest body of water is the OCEAN
Like, can we be more Pacific?

I think Christopher Columbus got lost
Because the directions were not pacific

Oh, excuse me, the Pacific Ocean
Where you will find the small islands (micronesia)
Where you will find the black islands (melanesia),
Where you will find the many islands (polynesia)

Generally, the islanders are like coconuts
So hard on the outside
But succulent on the inside
Yet they always end up wanting Samoa

Get this,
An assault by an Islander
is called a Hawaiian Punch

At times, these islands need a therapist when they are in a tropical depression
Some islands have sunk
Oh no do not laugh
That is not funny atoll
Sea yourself out

Therefore, I live on an island
A small island
I am a MICRO
I mean, how can I get more pacific than that?

Valentine Has Come

Valentine has come
in the smooth dispersal fragrance of the newest blooming flowers
in the thrilled embroidered wings of airborne butterflies
in the sweet songs of spring birds, in the voices of cuckoo

Valentine has come
in the luminous canvas of the blue sky where beloved wears vernal dresses
in the passionate weather of spring season where hearts enjoy the warmth of love
in the silky smiling of rising sun where lovers carry the red roses for adoration offering

Valentine has come
in the stranded shore of Patenga sea beach where pair of subsisted souls play the game of first sighting love
in the laps of DC hills where flowers of love decorate the seraphic cupid heart to enjoy the songs of epithalamium
in the ever moistened Foy’s Lake where boats of amorous heart row towards the pacific ocean of life to be unitized divinely

Valentine has come
in the braid of hairs of virgin girls, in the maidenhood nods of new brides
in the innocent waiting of school-going pubescent students
in the what’s app message streaming, in the bouquets of flowers shops

Valentine has come
in the pens of poets, in the expressed phrase of lovers
in the rhythm of music, in the sacred devotion of universal people
in the lines of the epitaph, in the nerves of reminiscent

Valentine has come
let it be happy
let it be glorious blessings
and say-
O, O Valentine
You are only mine

When the Pilot Arrives

the pilot arrives

When the world was big, and my ship left Trinidad just
as the sun set over the blue Caribbean and women, at the dockside waved goodbye forever, or perhaps not, if the ship returned with the same crew.
The Panama Canal was efficient and American, all business
The Pacific Ocean, the ship was a tea leaf in a giant's
saucer any minute now we would disappear and become a mystery at sea, written about in seafarers magazine.
Indian Ocean, finding a small island long before Apollo
made the world into a smaller planet
The moon is a balloon, as David Niven wrote.
The world has shrunk, it is indeed a tiny place a dot in the galaxy hard to see yet we go on fighting about religion and silly political views, and the beauty of what could have been is lost in a blur of hatred

Premium Member The Loaf Of Bread

During the Second World War, people were panicking everywhere in the world. And of all continents, Asia was one of the most devastated in the history of wars.

So many people in Asia were victims of slavery. Most of them are women. They were victims of molestation and rape. The worst of all, slitting them in their necks or being stabbed so deep between their breasts after being disrespected.

The story of the loaf of bread started not in China or anywhere else in the North, but in the Far East -- the place called "Pearl Of The Orient." Pearl of the East, as it is sometimes called, is situated north of Borneo and south of Japan, east by the Pacific ocean and west by the China sea. The map itself shows a shape of a human form.

Many people who have lived in the Pearl country had a hard time during the Second War. One loaf of bread is equivalent to one family's meal of six, or even ten. The scarcity of bread during those times is not caused by the insufficiency of flour or yeast. Salt, as an ingredient, is not supposed to be the problem too. Only that salt was used for other purposes.

One loaf of bread is the prize of winning the lives of one whole family in hunger and danger. In different ordeals that almost all captured families were going through back then, if you don't have a loaf of bread then you have to earn it. Otherwise, every single member of the family dies. Many times a loaf of bread is placed on top of the head of the man of the family for shooting. And sometimes a loaf of bread is used for marinating human flesh. If you don't know the exact number of slices in the loaf of bread that you are holding, your life is in danger too.

The loaf of bread is the story of a country's downfall for defending its land from invaders. The loaf of bread is not just food, but life for a loaf of freedom and justice.

a seaman's life

A seaman's life

Looking at the map, I have been to most countries
that have seaports but no time to explore work  had
to be done whether it was Monday or Sunday
I have crossed many seas. The Pacific Ocean had
long, deep waves, the Atlantic Ocean had sharper waves
while the Mediterranean Sea could not make up its mind
The Black Sea wasn't blue and looked darksome; the ship
was stuck on ice flakes
The country we seamen preferred was the USA
we could get our shopping done and buy stuff for
friends at home, shops stayed open longer
A Russian town had a beautiful avenue, but otherwise
a city shrouded in darkness
I lost my heart to Guatemala, beautiful beaches near
the docks, a nation of friendly folks
Haiti, Port-au- Prince where Papa Doc ruled with his
brutal men dressed in flowery shirts, sunglasses
eager to shoot at anything that moved
a place where portholes had to be closed for the stink
What I remember best was in Nagasaki one afternoon
I had two hours off work and noticed how few people
I met it was as if they were still in shell shock
In a courtyard, I came across the graves of Portuguese
seamen who had died of the pest 200 years ago
far from home, died of an illness, I grieved for them
The evenings in foreign ports were the same bars
and women of ill repute ready for a small amount
of money serviced the ritual of sex, so one could be drunk
go back onboard for a few hours of sleep

Nots Landing

where do I set my bags
I believe I am dizzy from all this jet lag
passed through gas like smoke coming out of a train
I need a chair to sit down I may go insane

pass out from all the exposure of this transition
crossing the Pacific Ocean misting
clouds puffing around mountains
back up I am dizzy again did I see a clown and

a man hula hooping across a farm
no let me get together I am too paranoid
from all this sea motion
I am experiencing dysfunctional balances
bar tending soaking

Will a Mai Tai help?
is that all you are drinking
well I may as well and enjoy myself
because when take off after this vacation

I will have nothing left
especially to complain about
here we come beach side surfing zip lining
flies in my mouth

I am ready for this week
i am socially satisfied it is time to eat
pineapples coconuts with straws
while I run under a palm tree with sticky leaves

Hawaii I have come to thee
to enjoy and raise much noise
I left the kids an I am all yous

              San Francisco Jazz Afternoons

Carries me back to those special Sunday afternoons with you.
The striped awning Jazz cafe, our very unique, ibeloved rendezvous.

The smell of the glorious, scents of the Pacific Ocean,
Those brown flirtatious huge eyes, lashes, my West Coast sensation!

My diamond engagement ring glittered like rainbow butterfly wings.
Memories of Coltrane, Davis, music that made you my heart laugh and sing.

San Francisco, always the beguiling, mystical jewel of my heart.
Everyday people who loved peace, jazz music, discourse, finest coffee and art.

You later, bought a fresh, intoxicating gardenia for my ebony bobbed hair.
Do you recall later, Union Street in The City’s, moist, foggy, sensuous air?

The spiritual City, was indeed our forever souls', sparking, galaxy prime,
We were both as daystars, walking its winding streets, so totally divine!

I Forget To Learn Myself-01

Birth is not from sin but from the best love,
from the faithful love of two biological soul;
From the gushing liquid I'm as if an aquatic animal
Birth is not from the drop of Pacific Ocean
but from the drop depth more than that

This is I from the royal love,
from that love me and my soul
an animal of power of speaking,
holder of best conscience,
with six senses
I'm human

They make me Hindu, Buddhist, Jew, Christian, Muslim, Sikh
title me with any other name,
although from my birth I'm human,
the best shaped animal of God

Since then I learn what are taught to me
I build me on that path they teach to build
I learn sin or virtue how to teach me,
wickedness, virtuous, hatred, vengeance or love,
I learn the same as they teach me,
Because I'm human, following being only!

From the unknown time
I learn all in divided laws,
on the tone of faithfulness and unfaithfulness,
in the verse of belief and disbelief,
which are taught me from predecessors learning
Because I'm human, following being only!

From the Holy Scriptures
I learn that are taught to me from good or worse,
As pantomime doll I stay in mimicry

I learn from the holy Vedas, Jabur, Tawrat, Tripitaka,
The holy Injil, Qur'an, Granth Sahib….
Learn more from the Holy Scriptures
Because I'm human, I believe God
These teachings only for me among the whole created animals
To be best conscious creation
To be united animal, not to be divided follower!

When I look at other created animals
then I find they learn own-self for the essence of life
For them no need the Holy Scriptures
So, am I worse than the other creation of the world!

I learn which are taught to me
I learn everything but forget to teach myself

                    Adagio Delight

Let's saunter slowly, into this sultry, star-blessed night.
Glimmering candle, on a fresh, white tablecloth, new.
We must have that daunting, Pacific Ocean view.
Oh, to dine is heaven with the man I so love.
As a rainbowed blessing from above!

I slip off my woven sandals, you do, too!
Our tanned feet sensually caressing.
Whilst we eat chicken, Cordon Bleu.
Mon. Dieux!

But, I, famished for your body, to be close to you.
My flaming addiction, which has no end.
That immortal discovering one June night,
We were far more than just good friends!

Most fiery, primive passions blossomed.
In our own, unique, personal love-fashions!
Come, let's discover love's force-field.
That continent and soul of each other.
In summers' star kissed moonlight!
Our homage to a lovers', Adagio Delight!
