San Francisco Jazz Afternoons Carries me back to those special Sunday afternoons with you. The striped awning Jazz cafe, our very unique, ibeloved rendezvous. The smell of the glorious, scents of the Pacific Ocean, Those brown flirtatious huge eyes, lashes, my West Coast sensation! My diamond engagement ring glittered like rainbow butterfly wings. Memories of Coltrane, Davis, music that made you my heart laugh and sing. San Francisco, always the beguiling, mystical jewel of my heart. Everyday people who loved peace, jazz music, discourse, finest coffee and art. You later, bought a fresh, intoxicating gardenia for my ebony bobbed hair. Do you recall later, Union Street in The City’s, moist, foggy, sensuous air? The spiritual City, was indeed our forever souls', sparking, galaxy prime, We were both as daystars, walking its winding streets, so totally divine! 1/9/2024

My years there, were the best in my life without question! I grew up in my soul met outstamding friends, extraordinary beauty every day. You have no idea what it’s like to go on your roof at night and see the Golden Gate Bridge. Awesome structure.. and to go to sleep at night and you hear the foghorns …is better than any musical! I made many great friends in SF. I hope one day, the city can be returned to sanity. Again! I only know it as an Angel to my Spirit. Merci, Paula….Pangie

Hi Regina…i still can see The City as it was years ago. Pristine abd safe, civilized and harmonious. It was the closest thing I can think of next to heaven, once Mayor Mosonewas assasinates, a darkness fell over the city,i will go nowhere near it now! I left before the big Quake.no city will ever be so mellow and genteel. I even met Ronald Reagan on the street and Dick Van Dyle and spoke with each. Years later with john Denver! Merci, Pangie

Dear Gershon. That is one of the most lovely things anyone has ever said to me. And I think you were right in your starement, We all have a passion or something. But you’re right is exactly what you said. I won’t add anything on because it’ will ruin in. I don’t want to even be known as a great poet, or even a good poet.. just as someone who said what you said. Bas NoAch, Pangie

Dear Panagiota, Your poem encapsulates the essence of shared afternoons in San Francisco with such vivid detail and emotion. The way you paint the scenes with the jazz cafe's striped awning and the scents of the Pacific Ocean instantly transports the reader to those cherished moments. Your poem is a breathtaking journey through love, music, and the enchantment of San Francisco. Thank you for sharing these profound and heartfelt memories. Blessings, Daniel

Hey Sara, Hope you and Bill had a great dinner! Thank you for responding to my mail. You’re a lady with impeccable manners. I don’t think I’ll ever stop penning about San Francisco. I absolutely loved it the way it was, not the way it is now but anyway, yes it was romantic. And yes I was engaged but I didn’t get married. Almost , but not quite. And it was a very good decision. thank you again. God bless you and Bill. Pangie .
