Due to his callous disregard, he divided her intent
Wanting to be loved was rapidly replaced
With needing to be nurtured
Windscreen scorch, midday duco seared her palms
A lost Christmas scarab lurid green beetle
Gripped Flora's taut forearm
Future she craved wavered toward steely necessity
Untitled as lucre of lake illusion luminous
Looming in her frontal lobe
Angel held urns runneth over, soma sportula pour
Treacle tips intoxicating as cherry kirsch
Accommodation on aileron
Conveyed from kookaburra sarcasm to city suzerain
Mirror tower monuments collide in clouds
Encourage worldwide rivalry
Flora's inclination for comfort drives acute delirium
Arid Arab cobalt coast melts cultures mosaic
Gamey gourmet, cutlery gleam
Her new wrist cuffed, convict of antique timepiece
Lost Duat archived exchange rate temporal
Khepra hands kissed henceforth

"Rabbits"
down the rabbit hole
we go
looking
for what, we are yet
to find and fully know
love leads us through
we look back for a little while
we observe shadow’s sad reflections
calling out to us
in the setting sun
we turn away, face forward,
we've just begun
we are at the intersection
and the Pooka
whispers -
"there’s no place like home"
"there's no place like home"
"there's no place like home"
time pulls us in, it runs
like a rabbit, fast
that ridiculous rabbit runs
breeds
urgency
a trite necessity
we’ve now opened emerald gates
our journey rumbles us
into the bejewelled jungle
familiars give us trouble
we fall in love fast
we bleed and stumble
we get up again
along the road
we grow,
we try for a while
to be sensible,
we try to be humble
humour winks,
and warns
invisible
rabbits
are trouble

She built a sailing ship from quarried limestone.
Vacancy for about a thousand restless crows.
Year after year, "The Necessity" steadily progressed.
Twenty-four and SEVEN without yearning for prayer or rest.
She was elegant and beautiful like white virgin gold.
But years of pauper toil always demand a royal toll.
Thinning soul and hunched bones she hungrily attacked.
Through drought, whirlwinds and Devilish thunderclaps.
She placed half a carrot atop the limestone mast.
by far the brightest jewel of her black powder past.
Dragging the beating vessel 'neath seagull serenade.
A pinch of salted MEMORIES left melting in the rain.
She slowly crawled aboard... a parrot's diary in hand.
Waiting for black waters to swallow up the burning path.
"The Necessity" was launched with a bleeding of champagne.
A christening of a new constellation called the death of chronic pain.

I'm stronger not because I work out, or any physical thing. My life has made me stronger from the hardship that it often brings. I've struggled, I've done without, and I've dealt with pain both mental and physical. Hardship makes us learn and also builds our character. I've learned to choose which battles I want to fight, and which battles are not worth my time. My spirituality is a necessity which I find my strength. It is God's comfort and guidance that gets me through each day. Life has a way of breaking us, or making us stronger. I have decided that I will give it my all rather I stand, or fall. But when I fall I'm determined to rise.
Our digestive system is starting to hurt
We thoroughly deemed this void
As if we're crashing from a Pyramid in, revert
An urgent necessity that must be spoiled
The earth is shifting to sand in an islet desert
Land beheld through the lens of greed boiled.
Unless we dig ourselves out of dismal dirt
We are going to hurt the crashing avoid
Giving you a speck of buoyancy exerts
You should sow it since it's a seed poised
I request a grain and am granted a sight
I require a piece and am granted the right
When I ask for a roll, I get paper insight
When I seek exegesis, I am said of my gut delight
I will be attentive to the light
When I pray to the realm, the gates reveal the site.

How can I change what has already been changed?
Everything has been tried over a thousands ways,
and there my perplexing question lays...
without a persuasive answer connecting the flow of words
to a revelation that necessity has invoked!
What else can I write when every subject
has already been written about by those illustrious writers?
But there's never a shortage of inventiveness...
that's found in the intellectual cleverness
that's only found in their depth!
How can I possibly replace the gentle pen which flows,
from an imagination so genuine and free?
I'll complete my sentences that wouldn't be an object of envy
of those written in the dreadful eras of restricted liberty;
one must bring more realism to questionable stories!
What new thoughts will be expressed by this mind,
not to imitate or infringe upon those writers' works lauded by society;
and give them proper credentials for their creativity...
one can't help being inspired and transformed by their originality,
great writers or composers wouldn't excel without the precedent!
How can I speak of fairness, if I don't practice it myself?
My human side should be compassionate;
take on that unprejudiced and forgiving look...
I,too, I'm subject to faults and replete with regret;
when my conscience isn't reminded of death!
What can I create from those eight notes
that await the awakening of inspiration from me?
For hours and hours my fingers will pound tirelessly...
on this piano, to write that unforgettable melody
that somebody will hear and play many times!
How can I change what has already been changed?
I'll risk it all by revealing my unfortunate events...
contesting their wills and connoting their faults!

Country named land of the absurd
mix truth and lie
whoever speaks the truth is mute
falsehood here is all quite right
Lie the politician and the priest
the judge and the witness falsify
prevaricate simply and shamelessly
and indulge themselves with impunity...
lying here is a real necessity
to deserve honor, glory and love...!
II
Here the lie has long legs
here the truth wears short pants
there is further truth to the prostitute speech
than the political speech that is preach,
or the ideological word that delays...
It's worth further sincere cheating
than a tie posing to be severe...
The faker who barks easier than a dog
or wiser pretending to be a prude
to deceiving everyone just one borg...!
Follow the path that runs through the dale
Where it turns leading down by the spring
Lush ferns and ivies line the trail
Nearly everything bites or stings
The dogwood blossoms and the redbud trees
Paint splotches of pink and white
Their aromas wafting on a lazy breeze
Awakening the senses with delight
Gray squirrels and chipmunks will timidly hide
The birds will announce your arrival
An intruder alert which nature provides
A necessity for their survival
Over the ridge, into the ravine
Where moss covered rocks are chairs
That's where I'll be, by the gurgling spring
Come and find the solitude there.

Together we connect with
Out of step see
Maybe mixed might may
It be that seed we plant
Informed reform rob unites
We see to be or nay say we
Claim too lame we disclaim a relevant
Release at these exchanges that
Open up at ease without
Need for rearranging
Lost we succeed too
Many other nights.
But last we yesterday. ..
And be what it just may
And back to my old shelf.
I work and plague for days.
Viewed differently than today
Claim to lame to disclaim.
No need release exchange
We see to be or nay.
Mixed up might may
But last we yesterday.
And be what it just may. ..
Incessant motion and constant innovation,
Are the defining features of our modern generation,
The hustle and bustle that drives our economy,
Also help us avoid the ghost of monotony.
But even the great God of all the nations,
After six days of His many creations,
Took time to rest on the seventh day,
As an example for the world to follow alway.
Six days you should labor is His command,
And rest on the seventh is His demand,
When this day of worship and rest we observe,
We give Father, Son, and Spirit the honor they deserve.
You may say that in today’s economy this is not feasible,
But I would point you to what Corona has shown is possible,
Our economies have almost ground to a halt,
Even though it is not due to our own fault.
Only businesses deemed to be a necessity,
Remain open during this global calamity,
Millions of people who were working before,
Are not gainfully employed anymore.
Businesses once thriving, their doors had to shutter,
Streets that were once buzzing with activity and human chatter,
Are now strangely silent and almost deserted,
And our busses and trains are no longer crowded.
Events long planned have been cancelled or postponed,
Our sports heroes can’t display the skills they have honed,
People once free to move when they wish,
Have been ordered to stay in and not be selfish.
And what is the reason, Oh, what is the cause,
Of this rare phenomenon of a world in pause?
It was ordered by our leaders and enacted by laws,
Designed to check the spread of Covid and close his devouring jaws.
So, when this nightmare is over, and things to normal return,
I hope we will trust God, and his law no more spurn,
By laboring six days and working because,
He said work for six days and on the seventh take a pause.
Don’t wait till world leaders enforce Sunday laws in disasters’ wake,
To convince us to rest for the environment’s sake,
God’s law will not change till the heavens the SON shall burst,
He said rest on the seventh and not on the first.
