Sometimes, in life's journey,
We must face the darkness within the ashes of our pace,
It's in these moments, we're forced to decide,
To rise again, stronger, or to step aside.
You see, sometimes you just have to die a little inside,
In order to be reborn, to rise again with pride.
It's a transformation, a metamorphosis of the soul,
Where we shed our old skin, and our true self makes us whole.
Life might throw every challenge, every test of will,
Disappointments and heartaches, that seek to make us stand still,
But we must face them head-on, with courage as our guide,
With determination and consistency, we'll reach the other side.
So we set the stage for our victory, with every step we take,
With every fall, we rise again, our spirit unbroken, our hearts unshaken,
We ask ourselves, "Why have I come this far, only to give up the quest?"
"Why have I climbed so hard, only to surrender to unrest?"
But then we remember, our crumbling and stumbling are not our demise.
We are the sons and daughters of the cosmos, rulers of the skies,
Born when the nebulae collapse, we are celestial and bright,
Our birth is not in mortality, but in the fire of the night.
So we rise again, like the Phoenix, from the ashes of our past,
We spread our wings, and we soar, our spirits forever meant to last,
We are the masters of our fate, the captains of our soul,
We are the Phoenix, rising high, our hearts forever made of gold.
Of all existence, revered nebulae,
Thus through this sonnet, a proposed tribute,
From whence first seen, served to personify,
Confirmed heart resigned being absolute.
Once star, a major presence to being,
Alone dependent worlds, ingratiates,
Presently, a vast expanse as best seen,
A belt of towering steed, satiates.
Our cramped frame, paired to your fantastic realm,
Proportionately, grandeur to compare,
Leans on the unthinkable to fathom,
A just aim be a journey set to wear.
Sojourners souls lead to air a last flight,
In a pink pasture, horse waits for its knight.

Lavish luscious liaison
Orchestrated obsession
Nocturnal nebulae
Gifted graceful gallantry
Secluded sanctuary
Tiffany telltale turtledoves
Effervescent ecstacy
Metaphysical mascarade
Magically manipulated mandolin
Erotic entanglement
Delectable daredevil demigods
Rhythmic romance rhapsody
Openhearted opulence
Secret sensuous seduction
Exquisite exotic elixir
Sumptuous scent of long stemmed roses

Beneath the yawning, azure skies of Earth,
We left our seed to wend the Sea of Suns,
And prove the binding mettle of our worth,
Beyond the sullied world we'd left undone.
Across the Great Expanse we bounded, free
To stretch the limits of our brains and bones
Though sailing 'cross that ancient, starlit sea
We heard the gods of ages yawp and moan.
We plunged an aching void of endless night,
Through spinning rainbow nebulae of death,
To wondrous planets, multi-hued and bright,
But none with Terra's sweet, enchanting breath.
Ten thousand worlds of mystery, we found
Grand vistas, picturesque, for us to roam,
Yet in the end, we turned our trek around,
Still yearning for those colors of our home.
To wade again, the meadows of our birth ...
Beneath the yawning, azure skies of Earth.
How earnestly, dear, you enchant my dream
Blooming heart’s wishes in amorous theme
Lifting me to your realm of astral mysteries
Buoying my longings on wings of your spirits
Rowing leisurely to paradise of ethereal bliss,
Surfing azure winds, navigating stellar seas.
Traversing through empire of eternal revelry,
Dazzling me with allure of inflamed intimacy
You lured me to magical palace of fantasy,
Way beyond kingdom of nebulae, galaxies,
Through reign of Venus~ the goddess of beauty,
And mythical territory of monarchy moonlit.
Mesmerizing dawn, scripting tale of romance,
You touched my soul, conquering my heart,
As purple tints engraved arc of ebullient morn
Honoring love, when hastily you were gone,
Leaving behind memories, wallowing in awe,
Of your passion esoteric, blazing on and on.

I wore my longing like a coat.
Kept the sharpest words in my throat.
I leaned in close; the blues just knew,
I would let them bent notes come through.
Bare boards beckoned worn-out shoes.
Slow feet shuffled with the dues.
One heel circled, one stood still,
As the lights turned round like a windmill.
While the dye brush waited by the wall,
I heard the blank canvas start to call.
I held back each splash just enough,
To leave a white whisper, in the rough.
I let my feelings rise up halfway,
Enough to ache; then to fade away.
My heart was folded, tied up with care,
To glow with all that is left hidden there.
The blue kept curling into the white,
Like the Milky Way deep in a velvet night.
The spiral nebulae all slowly grew—
To tie-dye the sky, with an ancient hue.
The tighter the bind, the brighter the bloom.
Stars need darkness, to brighten their room.
Hold back the colour—let just enough take flight.
Raindrops can teach sunlight to shape its light.
When the last slow glow chorus ends,
Twilight mends what that daylight bends.
One lone blue spark escapes the seam,
Just far enough to light the dream.
Oh say! Under a mischievous sky
A minstrel came singing and seeing me cry
" what are you facing?" Upon seeing me vexed
My soul is afflicted and deeply perplexed
I am charged with writing but cannot lie
Both my words are quitting and my pen is dry
He spoke to my pen, he spoke to my hand
Slowly and gently started to understand
Flashed in black sunlight comes the bird of the sun
Flowers of heaven all birds must be
Lost is her jailor, lost is the key
Standing there naked shedding her cloak
Unashamed her beauty is free-
For eons did man lust after liberty
In swaddling cloth soaked, the blood of the free
Untainted by rumour at half a century
Now painted in colours of contorted nebulae
Explosion of gasses in a smoky melee
Came swirling around and still I stand charged-
Just a moment ago , standing there mesmerized
Of the grandeur of you in the fluid of my sight
This bird must take flight, this truth I must write
Over these hills and meandering river-
Until she finds you, this is for Heather

I ride the guide of cogitation, swift and free.
Through cosmic realms, where wonders we see
Past celestial wonders, my mind takes flight,
Where galaxies twinkle in celestial light.
Through the milky pastures I ride, with awe and delight,
Where ceaselessly merge in eternal sight.
Forever traversing this celestial train,
Through the boundless heavens, I find no restraint.
I glide through stars as gems in the night.
Their brilliance guided my journey delight.
Through nebulae and supernovae, I soar.
Witnessing the birth of stars forevermore.
The whimsy line carries me on its track,
To places unknown, where time doesn't hold back.
I travel through dimensions beyond human grasp.
To realms where infinity secrets are clasped.
The cease of the line, the cease of time,
My destination is unknown, yet sublime.
I ride the train of whim, a traveler of the mind,
Exploring the mysteries of the universe, undefined
With each passing moment, my knowledge expands.
As I ride through the cosmos, held in its hands.
I witness the dance of planets in unblemished harmony.
Their orbits intertwine, creating a celestial symphony.
Through the vast expanse, my spirit is ignited.
As I ride the guide of admiration, my dreams are invited.
To travel beyond boundaries, to explore the unknown,
To find the answers to questions never before shown.
Big Bang exploded on void cosmos
creating Universe in nanoseconds.
Space , Matter, Time started joint journey.
Stellar world continued in Galaxies
Nova, Supernova, Nebulae, in
gaseous plasma on extension:
Quasars, Pulsars, Black Holes in harmony.
Cosmic Evolution running on.
Modern Concept doesn't suggest Universe ,
but Multiverse, rather larger frame work
with multiple separate universes !
Poetic approach to put in Free Verse
Big Bang is the birth of Cosmos
to collapse on Cosmic Death by Big Crunch.
EXCERPTS FROM A JOURNEY IN COVID-19
This must have been one place
Where global Covid-19 stopped
A camp, perhaps.
All morning, all night
Hearing thrssh thrssh
Sounds of shaking baskets
Ears to earth under dreams
Rotating nebulae
And a rain clouds
Over the valley of perfect wisdom
More a highway
Over a ground with seed and hands.
Old women, young girls
Babies crying and a few men
Living with pure air
On the same line riding into mountais.
Their sleeps being like a Wheel
Up the Hill, down the scarp
And the unintelligible pandemic
Inside the ground.
They got up.
Yearning for Eyes
And a Heart in center
As a flame without smoke
Flashiging the light with desire
Through a bush over the stream.
Expecting to see what?
We all laughing at first, too.
