Salvation Stairs

“Let there be;” the prelude to creation
“Let us make man;” an imitation
“Let thou subdue the earth;” not an invasion
“Let thou not eat;” humanity in examination
Enticing oh! Sweet bitter fruit of Eden
Enhancing the knowledge of good and evil even
Explicated in the seductive words of the forsaken
Enticingly dreadful, namby-pamby humanity have fallen

Now, salvation plan still conceived
Nest, Israel a people adopted
New prophets on the stage performed
Natch! Salvation plan delivered

There in Bethlehem the baby in manger
Then in Canaan, water turned win in a jar
Through Galilee, the evangelization prosper
Thus, in Jerusalem the saviour’s sepulcher

Entering graves womb at death
Navigating hell to its depth
Dawn wakes him on the third day from the earth
Salvation debt paid to procure new birth

Metamorphasis

METAMORPHASIS

Mother, in her wisdom, called me ‘Bambi’
And people, when they see me, just say, “Aaah”,
Thinking it equates to namby-pamby,
Which isn’t really accurate by far.
They think of me as innocent and shy,
Afraid of all the creatures in the wild.
But they’re quite wrong and here’s the reason why.
My heart is black; I am the devil’s child.
While cameras run, I act my timid role.
But, while they sleep, I metamorphasise.
I satisfy the evil in my soul;
The jungle hears the screams as something dies.
I’m feared at night by every living thing
All will agree I am the jungle king.

Premium Member She Would Reinvent and Fix Him

He was a sapless namby-pamby
but my cousin loved the idea that he was a blank canvas
She had taken other canvases and turned them into Pollocks and Rembrandts
Or so she thought…..

She would paint him in vibrant colors.
She would use a variety of her carefully honed and tested techniques
She bought a bunch of new brushes and paints.
Ready to begin her creation!

She spent years and years
Perfecting her craft, only it did not comply as she had surmised it should.
She spent all that time trying to change a rabbit into the Easter Bunny.

He finally hopped away.
Showing spunkiness and spirit
for the first time since they met.
Not to be outdone, she took the credit for it.

Premium Member A Prodigal Soldier of Words

I am a prodigal Son of a gun
Who fears nothing under the Sun
I am a brave and defiant soldier
I am a peaceful gladiator
My pencil is my substitute sword
My pen is my deadly weapon
I write one word at a time, one word
Which can destroy their plan
My pen is like a machine gun
An M16, which spits with a lot of fun
The words, the poems, the bullets
The rhymes, the truth and the pellets
I am not a namby-pamby, a yellowbelly prisoner
Because my mind is free
My mind is free like the air
I have a brain that no one, nobody
Can conceivably control. I am a free Man
I am a Soldier who carries a pen
As a deadly, unprofaned and dangerous weapon.

Premium Member Namby-pamby trance

The light is on so now dance!
No more living life in a nanby-pamby trance.

You’re eighteen now boy no more.
Man now you are, forget all those ‘lessons’ from before.

Men are men and know the score.
They’re there for you take galore!

Stand up straight and be a lad!
Pints and shots must now be had!

The wild in you now must be fed.
Then tamed your wild will be until you’re dead!

The world is cold, the world is weird.
You’re nothing until you’ve bed a score or more and proved your ‘hood’!

So this is what it is to be?
Remember success is who you know not who you be!

The loner types think too much and try to feel.
They look at life and try to find the quiet deal.

A thoughtful appreciation is frowned upon. Stag nights and strippers in Marbella is where you belong?

Walk your path, find your way.
If materialistic proof and money is your ‘hey’. I’m sure that life will treat your days and years in this superficial, unreflective, simplistic way.

CLOUD

CLOUD

I am a cloud, floating up here today
White with edges touched with grey
Look up, look up, even if you stare

Some call me fluffy but that’s unfair
Not namby-pamby nimbus, so there
I’ve a proud identity of which I care

I am a cumulus with a storm in mind
And can bring heavy rain, you’ll find
Even at this height, I’m not confined

I’m a harbinger of rain, I will not lie
I’m not like those cirrus, way up high
Seen way up there, scraping the sky

I may be turning quite black later on
Yet with strong winds, I may be gone
So, it’s now something to think upon

Just one among many, as it must be
Yet despite that, I’m a distinct entity
But if you can, please remember me

US Sports Report

When playing basketball
being tall is best it's thought
but that's not all
wearing saggy baggy shorts on the court
needs keen hand-eye coordination
plus being fleet of foot
and have no quibble with dunk or dribble
if through the hoop a Wilson you wish to put.
As for American football
boring from the sideline I find
it's more talk less action
namby-pamby as opposed to rugby
which is wilder less calmer
and without all the body armour
now there's a game with some traction.
America's pastime baseball
is another matter
whether pitcher or batter
with Rawlings or Slugger
when on the mound I have found
unlike soccer or rugger
before a ball the hurler throws
and the pitch is hit or caught with a mitt
first rearrange the private parts in public
twitch the cap and then spit.

Premium Member Flirting

According to the dictionary flirting is not used for serious intentions,
but to amorously show superficial or casual interest, really?
Can someone tell me why it cannot be serious, please?
Does one have to take a course to flirt correctly?
Everyday, I think I flirt a little, yes I do,
flirting is fun and who knows where it will lead-
Giving the object of my attention a wanton look and lowering my gaze.
Having a backbone is important, not a time to be a namby-pamby!
Infinite possibilities reflect in my great big brown eyes,
just a little trick, lick your lips and smile!
Keeping the conversation going is important for sure, and remember
laughter is music to the soul, and I also
melt his heart with my words and poetry (perhaps a line or two).
Now, I shake my head, fanning out my hair for him, oh lovely he says, and
on my ears are dangling earings beautiful.
Practice makes perfect!
Quoting a memorized joke shows my fun loving way.
Remember to sigh a lot!
Straighten his collar and smooth his sleeve, believe me
touching is a very important flirting tool.
Under the table knock into his knee, by accident of course, and being
vulnerable is another good trick (you can show your strength later)-
Whisper in his ear and linger there, how romantic.
X- rated never, but something sweet will do nicely, and
you can pretend your cold, tremble a little maybe for effect.
Zen, guys love Zen, let them know that is where you dwell when not flirting.

[What should one do in the face of startling negligence, disguised as incompetence? I know… replace your ink with vengeance and write blood curdling verses.

What should one do if Jail isn’t on your must do list? I know… tear up version one and write a namby pamby version that won’t get anyone fired but will preserve your liberty.

What follows is version two…]

A doctor had mush for a brain
He leaped right in front of a train
When he dropped his mack
He jumped on the track
His trousers developed a stain

His competence seems to be waning
Don’t ring up intent on complaining
For it’s quite widely known
He can’t answer a phone
For that wasn’t part of his training

He’s so blind he barely can cope
I gave him a new stethoscope
But I giggled because
He could not see it was
A sink plunger tied to a rope

But I got the shock of my life
The nutter’s at loose with a knife
That incompetent clown
In a surgical gown
Is getting to work on my wife

And now I’m so thoroughly fed up
Though I proudly walk with my head up
I’d do it again
For I drove the train
But some say I shouldn’t have sped up

Premium Member Osama Bin Laden

OSAMA
Obdurate Sadistic abductor as Machiavellian now abashed
Senseless Saboteur with Sabre sword,
Ablutions of wickedness as apology from vagrant
Mercy and peace mixed fleetingly against unprovoked America and the innocents
Abomination of true God explained as religion, hatred, wickedness, murders, and Jihad

Bin
Bigots brewing bestial behaviors before innocent kids,
Inoculated ideas of incorrigible iconoclast and unlettered extremist
Namby-pamby in acts of cruelty, yet, not man enough to face the consequence

Laden
Laden, lackluster, laggard, languid, despising better option
Abnormal spiritual schizophrenia and hallucination
Doctrinal heresies and contradictions shaming Islamic scholars
Exposing the fallibility of the questionable renown “Sacred book of blood and wars”
Now convince us again, that you bring Peace, Love or seek the Prince of Peace
