Ode To Rita and Maddie

Wade through the lake’s water so shallow,
A woman & a man hands entwined like a gallow.
Wade did she,
Wade did he.

Above their necks the furious waters rose,
Trod they together steps softly with no morose,
Spellbound they moved without a care,
Deeper and deeper where no one would dare.

Trod they further unto the middle they reached,
Realized she now an early vow she had breached,
No further she could wade,
But bitter memories afar refrained they to fade.

Drifting by now so weak was she,
So clasped them eyelids so all she could see was he,
A time came on when a boat roared by,
A wave it created ,it washed her eyes.

The heady din grown a was peaking,
Alas! Her dream was at an end that she was seeking.
The fingered band, beacon it began,
A time had come her life to regain.

Realized, she that moments spent in love,
Will fly away now like the dove.
Struck her like a bolt to her love away,
Will he take me home today?

Guessed she by now that the time was over for her space,
And on the pathway her love left behind in a cold place.
A now thinks she that dwells in another dimension,
Poor man left aghast to brood and fate too cruel to mention.

Ghastly her act ,in all this land had never been,
People shun now the disheartened lover whenever he be rarely seen.
Stares does he strangely at the door,
For he believes that the path will bring her once more…

Maddie Takes the Blame

All by myself, alone, I softly chant your name,
Own up for our defunct weeping bond and I take the blame.
It was our love very pure and not lusty lure,
Unsure, kaput and insecure I thirstily quest for love’s cure……

Will not otieously shed another vainful tear
But in earnest long for you my Dear to be near.
Messed up our bond with blatant, glaring guilt & shattered our own heart,
Guess that’s the only reason we in our lives drifted apart.

Cannot truly imagine that I let you go,
But for us to be happy I did so,
I own up and take the blame,
To silently blow off our love’s flame…..

My heart I am sure you did not know,
Was tattered and torn from the time I let you go,
Ours was a bond carefree and Boehme,
I Own up for our broken weeping bond and take the blame.

I wish our bonds could have fondly stayed on,
Woven intertwined with emotions, enameled with love’s lacquerers firmly bound.
But I still take the blame,
And not dampen loves flickering flame with a sense of shame……

Now that my love, its end seems so near,
Sense its icy claws draw up and stealthy steps I hear,
I own up and take the blame……………
And fling my heart’s longings up above without aim again and again…till our laden guilt we overcame….

Premium Member Kids Only Secret Recipe - Nursery Rhyme 2

Maddie, Maddie, mud pie maker,
born to be a beaming baker.
When making mud pies she feels free,
here is her secret recipe:

In the searing summer sun, go grab a garden hose,
then scoop a hole and have some fun, perhaps behind a rose.

There you’ll make a perfect puddle, ankle deep will do,
then add ten scoops of garden dirt, measure with your shoe.

Add some bugs for extra protein, house flies are nutritious,
my pet Bill the Bullfrog says: “they taste so delicious.”

Now jump right in and stomp around, watch for little fish,
use both your hands to scoop some mud, squeeze it squish, squish, squish.

Then place the mud on Daddy’s car, or Mommy’s, on the hood,
where its hot enough to bake a mud pie oh so good!

You can eat it all yourself or share it your friends.
Best to bake on laundry day so as to make amends.

It Was Nothing To Do With Me

It was nothing to do with me,
I wasn't there, and, besides...
Who could?

They all urge you on,
as if it is just the cold sea
  you're plunging in,
a bit of a shock.. but then it's OK.

Plunging in, swimming about, finding...
... not too much - other swimmers in their bubbles.

Without bubbles, they're mad, barking, off their trees -
  - some even commit suicide ... it's them.

They. Them. The other. Foreign. Not-like-us. Kill-themselves. As_they_would... wouldn't_they.

But. But. Doubt. Don't Doubt - don't.. You're not a maddie...,
 are you sure?

It must have been raw for Jane to kill herself..

.. Nutters, she said to me, only last year, about suicides. She was quite clear. and she wasn't.
-- a nutter. At least. Not then.

Now. Dead. Suicide. Depression. Yes. maybe. Jane.is.a.nutter..

I shouldn't say this, but I think that's crap.

It was nothing to do with me,
I wasn't there, and, besides...
Who could?

I loved Jane - she helped make sense of the world. She made sense, when it was all black - and Mummy said it might be a little dark.

Jane sang: 'Don't worry, be happy'.

Why can't they see, we can't all be invisible. can --- we?

.invisible.nutters.

I.am.an.invisible.nutter.

It makes no sense, does it, unless you are a nutter?

At least it does all make sense. Now. Sorry. Really... I am.
