Day, and Night

Day, and Night
by Michael R. Burch

The moon exposes pockmarked scars of craters;
her visage, veiled by willows, palely looms.
And we who rise each day to grind a living,
dream each scented night of such perfumes
as drew us to the window, to the moonlight,
when all the earth was steeped in cobalt blue?
an eerie vase of achromatic flowers
bled silver by pale starlight, losing hue.

The night begins her waltz to waiting sunrise?
adagio, the music she now hears;
and we who in the sunlight slave for succor,
dreaming, seek communion with the spheres.
And all around the night is in crescendo,
and everywhere the stars’ bright legions form,
and here we hear the sweet incriminations
of lovers we had once to keep us warm.

And also here we find, like bled carnations,
red lips that whitened, kisses drawn to lies,
that touched us once with fierce incantations
and taught us love was prettier than wise.

Crushin’ On You

Hey, love. I know you see me, we've exchanged a few words, just here and there, but I can't help but see you everywhere. I know you know me, you know what I like, but all we seem to do is fight. Maybe it's because, we both refuse to see, our true feelings really can come to be.

Hey, love, I know you like me, I know it's true, I really am just crushin' on you. I like your laugh, your smile, your voice, I just wish one of us would make that choice. The choice to admit that… just maybe, we could be something more than friends. Are we meant to be together in the end?

Hey, love. You're a really good friend, you know me so well, I just wish we both could tell. Tell if you liked me, or if I like you or if we're just being manipulated into something that's not really true.

Hey, love, thank you for being there, even if we're not meant to be. I'm still crushin' on you, I just don't want to let you see. I'm scared of my feelings, of being let down, but then again… is there any other way to know how? To know how to love, to know how to laugh, to know how to admit that we could be something more than friends.

Maybe, just maybe… we could be the game that ends.

Relying on thought as a crutch,
insentient to bliss beat’s touch,
no wonder we feel incomplete,
so perhaps it’s time to declutch.

Instinct driven patterns repeat,
without feeling magnetic heat,
as grace of God, divine sublime,
birthing bliss that does not deplete.

If Jacob’s ladder we would climb,
poised in silence, marking not time,
as pure awareness self-aware,
our presence conjures a love rhyme.

Melding head with heart, as they pair,
save joy, we’ve nothing to declare,
mind rests and with no dots to join,
cravings of ego we outstare.

Soul and God, as they so conjoin,
wisdom of sages we purloin,
that in this dream life, it’s a fact,
all are one, sides of the same coin.

Forging with love and light a pact,
the God code is by us thus hacked,
that as we so metamorphose,
attachments held onto retract.

Breath by breath bliss radiance grows,
more so when we are in repose,
brightening glow of our aura,
which exudes fragrance of love’s rose.

Remember LENORE , when we shared POETRY time
Each of us would finish the other one’s Love RHYME.
Spending all day Writing; WRITING a LOVE POEM.
Hand it to the other so they can drive the point HOME.

Together WE wrote about LIFE , LOVE, Death, Hate.
Together WE wrote many POEMS : POEMS were GREAT.
Remember LENORE , Our LOVE was OUR FORTE.
To know that I could finish anything YOU say :
Knowing full well, IT could go the other Way.

Remember LENORE , OUR LOVE was GODLY BLISS.
Starting from the time YOU gave Me my first KISS.
“ MISS “ Adams , through banns of marriage : no more “MISS “
Now YOUR gone and I just REMINISCE.

Dedicated to LENORE ADAMS JOHNSON FOR EVER and ALWAYS

Realm of deep peace subtler than space,
where bliss mists rise, borne by God’s grace,
in staid stillness transcending time,
is our soul’s preferred resting place.

God’s pulsations divine sublime,
playfully conjure a love rhyme,
giving rise to magnetic heat,
birthing within form, a bliss chime.

With all nodes within us upbeat,
our vibrant presence feels complete,
simply watching bliss beats renew,
as polarities meet and greet.

Each rapture spasm we feel is new
and as we sip bliss nectar’s dew,
with love and light as our mainstay,
from ego cravings we unglue.

Remaining thus day after day,
by granting peace the right of way,
fullness in emptiness the norm,
each breath receives a bliss bouquet.

I confronted the ocean,
the moon hanging low.
I scowled at the sea,
the Breeze processing below.
The calming hints of the ocean welcome me.
The ocean breeze quieted the trees to rest.
Also, it exquisitely drew my sleep before dawn.
The terrible dew seemed to stick around.
The roar of the waves rose,
showing Pine Tree State love.
My heartbeat seems to be sharp,
and that I relish smelling the sea.
If my lips shift to wet with dew,
My face is loaded up with bliss.
It resembles the universe of blue mist blending.
Light-Haired young woman Scented Wear
It resembles a white wedding dress.
She, at last, found a darling.
Sparrows tell from its casing of reference.
I murmured at the water, as well.
In a doomed, confusing dream
Concur with all little bit of it,
within the focus of adoration...
I detected the death of the evil.
Tune in the latches.
She commends me, as well:
The Illusion is Runs Down.
Ecstatic waves threw the crowd on the love rhyme.
Kindly do no matter what it returns, not pivot.
She aforesaid Your breath ought to not fall;
send your waves within the blue of the sky.
Similar to ocean birds,
the ringings your full breath.
Flavored with the smell of the ocean
Indeed, even to accept the ample space.
during this meeting, Combine these layers as one,
Of white fogs and blue beams,
It's a splendid light, as well,
The Savage of Youth Considers the sea,
Accept joy in a rattling event,
With him or excluding riding his extreme aversion.
Be a craftsman or a writer; however,
on the other side, a darling,
don't relinquish Until Death.
Or, on the opposite hand,
the expert of a ship mariner.
He's not terrified of the dull.

My love you may call me day and night
Because I think of you anyway, all day long
I cannot live without you day or night
And in this I don't see anything wrong

Because I think of you anyway all day long
You may want to call me any time you want
And in this I don't see anything wrong
Living without your love I can't

You may want to call me any time you want
Do it night and day all the time
Living without your love I can't
And into eternity we can sing and with love rhyme

Do it night and day all the time
I cannot live without you day or night
And into eternity we can sing and with love rhyme
My love you may call me day and night.

Premium Member the way we are

the dream unfolds, which we behold
as stories in new forms retold
where since we choose to don a form
we must suffer both heat and cold

with divine magnetism conform
that grazed by bliss waves cool and warm
to pain and decay then immune
we’re at peace in love’s benign storm

soul sings a melodious tune
hymn of grace with which we attune
whence awash in love, light and bliss
in splendour of God’s light we swoon

ego says something is amiss
that we we fall in an abyss
mind games to deflect attention
to feel not kundalini’s kiss

dismissing ego’s dissension
maintaining thoughts in suspension
we rekindle the heart’s bliss flame
paving way for our ascension

God realisation’s our aim
so treating life as but a game
as a dweller of the vast void
there remain no demons to tame

no longer by thought forms decoyed,
in time delusion is destroyed,
whence on ego death we then see
light of Self pure and unalloyed

back to form head and heart agree
and free from desires we are free
having pierced the veil of space-time
where all is one and there’s no ’me’

suffused with divine mists sublime
no peaks remain for us to climb
thus bliss replete we feel complete
with heart conjuring a love rhyme

The Start - a Poem By My Sister

I'm letting you in, but promise me this,
Our love won't be bought for the price of a kiss.
That my heart can stay guarded, at least for a while,
That your patience will last more than just the first mile.

I'm letting you love me, small steps at a time;
You're weaving your tune through my brutal love-rhyme.
Your harmony soars with my melody's pace,
And the pure notes are written all over your face.

I'm letting you have me, on leasehold for now,
I put up defences, you're breaking them down.
I'm letting you in, we're starting to run,
I'll let you know, one day, you might be the one.
