A tribute to a friend. Happy Valentines Day!

This Valentines Day , I think of you
All that you did with me, so very true
Authenticity is precious, like a gem
It's important as a flower's stem
With you, anyone knew where they stand
You would say it how it is and understand
No circles, no guessing, no blame to endure...
Even disagreements would help cure
A lost soul and pain of a broken heart
     - It was like that from the start -
You passed away suddenly so long ago,
but you still breathe through me in a flow
It carries on and on, this is what I know
Gratitude never fades for all that we had
So, I choose happiness today instead of sad

Heaven's Key Not For Contest

It is like an imagination
When eyes open in original nation
Close in this word but phantom
Close in this cruel and crook home
Whose false falsifies brothers and sisters
Into pirating neighbours’ labours
Into dancing to drum of hatred
Into dipping hands in blood
Blood topples like control-less plane
Blood streams like oil that emancipates from can
Tighten the tether of sin
And close the gate of the zion

Religion preaches to the heart –
Heart of lost soul and straighten the route
Says prostrate your mind – prostrate your mind
Prostrate your mind before your lord
And hope is birthed

Hope is birthed like a baby
Depth down the heart
Grows as the day goes by
Gives sense of patient
And longing for the real word
And good deed is birthed

Good deed is birthed like a rising in sun
Sharpen as the day moves on
Wash off the sin and you are an infant
Who is not sinned before and present
Rebuke evil ought to befall you
Stimulate and hasten progress on your way
Spiritual and natural you grow
Religion, Patient, and Good deeds are lights, heaven’s key

Not for contest.

Go Out of Your Way

we have no time to take the scenic route
we're always moving apace
we have no time to stop and smell the air
nor see the wonders that are in place
we're too afraid to go out of our way
running and rushing from day to day
we're reluctant to come out of our comfort zones
in our carefully laid plans we don't want a monkey wrench thrown
but sometimes God desires that of our ruts we break out
for hidden treasures may be found if we take an alternate route

Zacchaeus the main tax collector was a man with great wealth
who was willing to go out of his way to restore his spiritual health
he was a man of little stature and for him the people had disdain
yet he was tall in power and status from the wealth he had attained
but Jesus Christ, the Son of Man looked beyond Zacchaeus' possessions
He saw into Zacchaeus' heart and discerned the reasons for his transgressions
Zacchaeus was so eager to see God's prodigy
that he ran ahead of the crowd and climbed up a sycamore tree
Jesus was destined to see that little man
and put into place God's master plan

Zacchaeus was a lost soul who had a desire to be found
he was willing to repent and atone in order to stand on higher ground
he was willing to sacrifice, refund and rebate to any from whom he might have stole
he was willing to reciprocate God's generosity at a measure that was four-fold
he was completely transformed now a new creation in Christ
no longer lost but to have found a new and better life

so be like Jesus and Zacchaeus and go out of your way
to help, assist and lift up those who are in crises from day to day
as Christians we need to stand in solidarity and come out of our comfort zones
to be a part of the Great Commission and go out and save lost souls

but for the grace of God that might be me or you
but with God's saving grace we need to pull each other through
just take one little step towards Jesus Christ and let Him grant you favor
and He will take a giant step and bless you with compassionate behavior
go out of your way and just help your fellow man
spread the wealth, love and abide each other for that God's master plan

" I will send them without wings so
that no one suspects they are angels."

                                      God

I have had cats since I was six years old and got one for Christmas, she was
pure white and fluffy, I called her Snowball. Since then I cannot live without
a cat in my life and God always sends me one. I have never purchased a cat.
They just come to me as a stray lost soul, or someone cannot keep their cat
or in the case of my mother's cat, inherited. And my present cat was because
my sister could not keep her, way too fluffy she said. Each one has been my
best friend. Each one my sweetest companion. I love their purring sounds,
stroking their soft fur, their little kisses in the morning and even those big
meows, my cat sings to me like a little bird. I love that so much. I am sure
God knows when a person is lonely or sad and he sends a pet angel. These featherless angels fill me with love. My grandma used to say that I was born
with an old soul, my mother said I had the saddest eyes, and I seldom smiled.
But, with a cat beside me I am filled with happiness. God knows what he
is doing but in time he calls them home and my heart is shattered, broken
and I grief the loss deeply. Then, magically another cat will come to me, for
there is always room in my heart until I kiss them goodbye with tears.

held my angel cat
until her last gasp of life ...
        and then held her more

Harsh Reality Vol.Ii

They Say It ain't what you say but how you say it
so tell me, how do you get across the truth knowing
how people are gonna look at you after the moment
it's spoken. I mean people hate it but love it so
addictive like 2nd hand smoking me, I'm like a
sponge when it comes to knowledge yeah I'm
still soaking my man got his life taking away from
him before his time and for me dat was like a wake up call
but I've learned never mind the good times how you gone
react when things hit rock bottom, can you still stand tall
It's hard doing right when every things gone wrong
how you goin catch dat hailmary pass when you outta bounds
life ain't nothin but a choice of who you goin stay loyal to
Your Lord & Savior, or ya homeboys ya know them niggaz
dat always held you down. What's reality for me?
Knowing at the wrong place or wrong time I could leave
this world and my seed would be fatherless, but looking
out my scope with all the snakes & rats I encountered
its hard to see who's the real target and yeah I'm
Holy so I got gifted hands like Ben Carson, and as a black man
I'm only trying to reach what we call freedom and man can't
live off bread alone so for my son's sake the holy scriptures
I gotta continue to feed him. So if this ain't harsh reality
somebody tell me, whats the fate of another lost soul,
just another statistic to the streets that came from
an unstable home

Today, our way of life is under attack,
were threatened each day by our own doing.
Political differences are having an impact,
and Ungodly things seems were pursuing.

Socialism is rapidly claiming healthcare,
and borders are open for all sorts to come.
Violence has become a frightening affair,
and peaceful means are not the way of some.

Most who come here seek something free,
they couldn’t care less that another has paid.
Many who read this probably won’t agree,
but I truly believe that we’re being played.

I can only pray for the Lord’s soon return,
only then will all things be made whole.
The wheat will be saved and chaff will burn,
God is ready today to save a lost soul.

King James
Matthew 3:12.
“Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire”.

My Dear Enemy
Here I am
In full armor
My quill is full of arrows
My bow is taunt and ready fro battle
My horse is pristine and shiny black
I am your enemy
As you are mine to the death
I shall take my bow and arrow
Pierce you through the heart
My king shall praise and honor me
For many battles so well fought
I know I have to shoot my arrows
To save my own pitiful soul

My dear enemy
I just long for you to know
Every arrow, every drop of blood
Every soul that must depart
Due to my fine skills and sharp arrow darts
I die along with you
I know not who you are
Yet a weep for your lost soul
I imagine other times
Maybe we would sit for tea and cookies
Laughing over words of glee
You and I so battle ready
I am sorry for all the battle scars
The blood that flows so deep
Every arrow that leaves my bow
I am sure it too, also weeps

My Dear Enemy
I prey today that before the dusk
One of you will have a finer bow
My heart no longer has the will
To fill my quill with arrows so
Today, I let one of you end my day
No longer can I live on this way
All my fine arrows fired
Have finally been on target
My Dear Enemy
I love you as any man
I have only love for humanity
I pray one day
Our Kings and Queens shall feel this way
As off the battle field, I am carried away

A shepherd loses

one sheep of a hundred, goes

and looks for the one, rejoice

when found, or of the

woman losing one coin of

ten and when found, rejoiceth

*As scriptured
Jesus spoke to welcomed sinners and feasted with them, loudly enough to be heard by the abiders of the Laws, who was in the midst, and they were critical of him to be amongst the wretched crowd, ergo, the parables, whereto, leaving the ninety-nine righteous souls, and seek out the one lost soul, or not be denied the full value of your worth, and seek out that within you that has been lost, and once found, you are made whole again, indeed, a righteous soul.

Whispers of the Heart

It's been days since I have written anything, was busy matching the real and reel
I smile when I catch eyes on me,
hiding my pain,
separating the alphabets of day and night;
unbinding my thoughts from my poems.
"Does it matter? ; Will it matter?"
are now out of the drawer
I know nothing would change till I do myself.
No loop holes, no magic shall happen
till I push for a breakthrough
but there is a glass not half empty instead
broken into pieces invisible to all but me.
Wondering why was she sent with
groundbreaking ability to survive
Live and live but to live like death
A Lost soul with a weeping heart
and a smile plastered on,
telling a happy story in hell.
I am not writing anything these days
My fingers may bleed
but I am out of band-aids.

Friday Evening, After Eleven

Too tired, i thought io myself, to lance this wound again
So I'll let the sufferings flow where no good tidings go
And we'll call it a truce in the end.
 Oh, tell me once more,
How this life of ours should go,
Cause the words fall to the floor anyhow
And the small town girl's turned penthouse femme fatale
Oh but we knew how these city streets howl faux freedoms
In the face of the soft-skinned and weak minds
But mine's been all the weaker for believing poison is love
And I drank the barrel dry till I went blind to the holy light
Damn these tears and this darkness of soul
But if that's the case babe, mine's been rolling in coal
Oh, I ain't a scholar, nor master of schemes
just a two-bit pauper with sprawling rock-candy dreams
the letters don't fall into place like they did once before
And I don't search for the gold in folk's smiles anymore
I've been drowning in sin and the lifeblood of all lies
Worst part's been hiding a lost soul behind brown eyes

Tell me honey, how's life been to you?
Well, the winds tell me the sound's still alive and well
Ah, but the wind ain't so kind in the dark when your wrapped in loneliness
And broken strings on a battered guitar have lost the will to tell the tale
New strings sell good, but you pay with your heart
Aren't we running out of pieces by now ?
Well baby, meet me on the corner of 5th and eternity beyond
Of the hope and fiery passion we learned to burn in till we went wild
And can you find your way back to the stars babe?
And can you take me back to our unscarred years
before we spilled the blood of dreams not yet born
 Are you ready mama?
 Whisper it to me low...
In that voice of a longin soul...
 Let's go.
