Power Mad Unlikeable Sad

Trekking every which way
mentally mapping at pace
to escape this place
captured for an age

with its rotten decay
compacted waste
attacking my taste
lack hunger stray

overwhelm left spaced
all sense misplaced
isolated and crazed
now a familiar place

thinking clear not spaced
for years thoughts raced
cause fear left crazed
salt tears I taste

but repressed memories
have shown me those years
before depressed mentality
when thinking clear

overwhelmed and isolated
made me a victim
overpowered and hated
I wasn't Nick Trim

became different through
pain inflicted by ambush
change moulded me new
insane and not to push

outnumbered by hunters
whom failed at stealth
stumped by their blunders
I prevailed what dealt

making failure felt
their hopes rise they fell
working in that hotel
alone I faired well

as managers managed
to mismanage damage
handled in a manner
alike mental spanners

with restricted brain span
I predicted their plan
the pyramid scam
those dickheads ran

like scum
so dumb
all done
undone

2 against 1
I won
shouldn't have done
but shun

made managers mad
neutralized powers they had
evaded their grab
can't get me like that

obsessed and desperate
living to kick me out
their stress elevates
wanting to bring me down

failing as their daily ideas
reveal flaws as I steer
in circles behind I'm over here
trying to get me never near

so they turn to slander
slowly destroy my character
the manager and the manager
at the top where Hell sits under

you're disgraceful human beings
pathetic without honour grace or likeable traits
a life so empty it bitters your beings
you're shallow you're hollow you have no mates

I'm what you aren't and it caused you to hate

new found gracious
I know where my place is
far from two faces
raging outrageous

you're disgraces weak and feeble
if we could choose who we are as people
you're the last left alike P.E at school
not selected just the leftover fool!

I'd rather be me than someone undesirable

Premium Member Sparks That Once I Knew

On my first employment after school
Apprentice electrician was my vacation
there I worked with many tradesmen
many lessons learned for my occupation

My first spark was a guy called Neily
who hailed from way up at Benbecula
he was a real highlander, no doubt
also good at soccer, quite spectacular

Then there was big Andy, 6 feet tall
having fair curly hair, drove a mini car
he was really nice and kind, so I learned
liked the girly mags, quite blue by far

Now, Drew was really different by far
always felt in awe of him, so strong
made one shed a tear, odd at times
but at heart, he always meant no wrong

John J was around my age
a likeable lad, always meant well
the boss was his uncle, made it hard
a spark would ignite when he rang your bell

These were some fun days
but due to being colour-blind, I resigned
wonder what happened to these guys?
maybe one day I'll find the truth

(In the UK, spark was a nickname for an electrician)

Battery (for Hyundai Sonata) Needed Today

Frugality worn by fiat generated
by alternate fickle finger of fate,
the plus side being said vehicle
parked here in public Salem's lot,
where I live with said diabolical mate

grave adversity doth unfortunately accelerate
curse to finance repairs of titled automobile,
more'n six months ago plus of late,

where saving impossible mission more
difficult than resurrecting the dead
even an atheist (like me) could activate,
thus this poet blithely doth adumbrate
posthumous renown much more likely than

mine corporel flesh (a complex conglomerate
edifice), essentially if present automotive
woe continues, one beastie boy aggregate,

imagine, and envisage, I do articulate

mean, kickstartering (ill) luck knowing
postage overdue, I anticipate
outstanding debts unpaid

at grave robber's rate

within an eternity and
credit debits to eliminate
delay getting transported
into another dimension

will presidentially usher
trumpet, shutterfly, annunciate
one successful Earthly gadfly,
donning imprimatur to communicate

Peculiar, party-avoiding, private, particular fond of the word prancing
Industrious, imaginative, ideally paints a canvas every week.
Never-never-land oriented, loves Peter Pan and Pippi Longstocking
Kind, knowledgeable, knows herself incredibly well

Furiously favors friendly strangers
Affectionate as a puppy when you are likeable up front
Eager to please, engages self in helping others
Really wants life to move smoothly, does her part
Intelligent, but does not flaunt it
Empathetic, hides emotions, effortlessly enjoys others

Favors forever friendships, has some friends for over sixty years
Intuitive, idealistic, inquisitive, initiates conversations in store lines
Vim and vigor experienced on a daily basis, I teach in a grade school
Enthusiastic, energetic, enigma in some ways, secretive about soul

Please Unfriend Me

Please Unfriend Me

No slow paced emotions
In this hi-tech, jet age
Why wait to know the other
Over time
No use looking for secure and long lasting friendship
When the same is available
On the go
The face looks likeable
Just a click
But do follow the norm- be polite
Request him/her for friendship
I would love to see you
Doing the same face to face
Anyhow, don’t worry about gender and age
These things do not matter
Start a chat and then chatter
Friendship for sure has gone hep
Just a little tap
And voila
Both of you
Completely unknown
Never met in life persons
Are friends
And what is best
This friendship
Gets celebrated all over the world
By similar, like-minded people
Don’t worry if you’ve had your fill
Want to end the friendship
All you have to do is simply
Unfriend him
And that person
Is out of your life as if
He never existed on this planet in the first place
So you see
It’s all so simple
Man and emotions were making the
Darn thing complex
Now for those who are dumb
Can’t take sarcasm
Mate
Don’t hesitate
Feel free
Please unfriend me.

Premium Member Shirley Lou Mcdying

Shirley Lou McDying was obnoxious and loathsome.
Please let me add despicable, irritating and spiteful.
There was frankly nothing delightful.

But we co-workers resisted using terms that sing.
because she was new, so we gave her a few thousand chances.
But she was a back-biting, evil, mean-spirited thing.

We discussed her evilness and her jealous strife,
Until the boss made his little announcement
that Shirley Lou was going to become his wife.

It is weird how fast we tried desperately to
find at least one thing likeable about Miss McDying.
An impossible task, but he had given us impossible
tasks before, so we kept trying.

Premium Member -Who Are You

We talk and share our thoughts
Yet I don’t really know who you are
At times I actually don’t know if your male or female
Or your real name which is quite bazaar!

I have no idea what you look like
Or even how old you may be
Whether you are alone in life
Have pets or a family?

I know nothing about your history
What occupation you have or had
The hobbies or interests you enjoy
Special talents you have …..good or bad!

Are you likeable, talkative ,friendly
Or quiet ,reserved and shy
Are you patient and tolerant
Humorous ,serious or sly

Are you kind and generous
Or frugal and tight
Are you organised, clean and tidy
Or hoard everything in your sight!

I only know what country you live in
Not where, in what ,with who
Do you live in the city or country
Or by the beach with a sea view?

I have no idea the foods you like
I don’t know your dislikes or joys
Don’t know your strengths or weaknesses
Your fears ,or dreams ,or what you avoid?

You maybe a criminal locked in jail
Violent , frightening, breaker of rules
Feel no compassion or empathy
Maybe a racist, judgemental or cruel?

All I know of you is your poetry
Our connection through written word alone
Fellowships formed through a computer screen
The rest of you to me…..unknown!

Premium Member -His Life Never Forgotten

His confidence was unbreakable
He knew exactly who he was
No concerns about judgement
That being “just because”

He travelled globally
Throughout his lifespan
His assurance never dwindled
He was always his own man

He was likeable and friendly
Popular with the majority
At times somewhat arrogant
With an air of superiority

His love for me never faltered
Throughout his many years
Loyal and comforting
Through good times and tears

It was painful to see him grow old
Become senile
Slowly disappear
His body still on this earth
His soul no longer here

He was my confidant
My companion everyday
His life never forgotten
For in my heart his spirit stays

Taking the High Road of Acceptance

i am liking my friend
she came into my life at the perfect time
of course, chaos and confusion was involved
she is kind
she is sweet
she is genuinely likeable
i thought about writing her a letter,
but i think i will choose her sweet, sincere friendship
see, i know that she does not like me in the same way
a pursuit of her would be like wasted energy on mirages in the desert
sometimes men and women are just meant to be friends
you just have to keep it real within yourself and just respect it
the are many depths adding and expanding that knowledge of your self
instead of taking the obvious road to nowhere, i thank God for my friend
I Pray For My Friend
her gentle acceptance make her all the more beautiful to me

Premium Member My Best Mate

Me and my mate we talk all the time,
We talk when I get out of bed,
He’s the one that I see first thing in the day,
He’s my dependably likeable friend,

Who keeps all my wants perfect fresh and brand new,
He listens to all that I say,
And he gives the right answers to my rumble deep down,
He’s my cold white electric café,

He light’s when it’s dark and cools when it’s hot,
He’s clean and tidy and neat,
He gives me a smile when I’m buried with worry,
He helps me get back on my feet,

Me and my mate we meet all the time,
From dawn to dusk to night,
He’s my beautiful fridge upright in my kitchen,
Dressed in a beautiful white.
