-Who Are You

We talk and share our thoughts
Yet I don’t really know who you are
At times I actually don’t know if your male or female
Or your real name which is quite bazaar!

I have no idea what you look like 
Or even how old you may be
Whether you are alone in life
Have pets or a family?

I know nothing about your history
What occupation you have or had
The hobbies or interests you enjoy
Special talents you have …..good or bad!

Are you likeable, talkative ,friendly
Or quiet ,reserved and shy
Are you patient and tolerant
Humorous ,serious or sly

Are you kind and generous
Or frugal and tight
Are you organised, clean and tidy
Or hoard everything in your sight!
 
I only know what country you live in
Not where, in what ,with who
Do you live in the city or country
Or by the beach with a sea view?

I have no idea the foods you like
I don’t know your dislikes or joys
Don’t know your strengths or weaknesses 
Your fears ,or dreams ,or what you avoid?

You maybe a criminal locked in jail 
Violent , frightening, breaker of rules
Feel no compassion or empathy
Maybe a racist, judgemental or cruel?

All I know of you is your poetry
Our connection through written word alone
Fellowships formed through a computer screen
The rest of you to me…..unknown!
