He starred in an episode of "18 Wheels Of Justice".
He died ten years ago today and his name was Chris.
He starred in a movie that is titled "Stunts Unlimited".
His fans were sad when they learned that he was dead.
When we lost him at the age of fifty-seven, we lost him too soon.
He starred in "The Dukes Of Hazzard" and "The Dukes" cartoon.
He was temporarily hired when the producers had to replace Luke.
I think that he did an admirable job when he starred as Vance Duke.
He starred in "Official Denial", "Raven" and "East Meets West".
He also starred in two episodes of "Xena: Warrior Princess".
He starred in "Liar Liar" and it's sad to know that he's gone for good.
He and Coy fought the system like a two modern day Robin Hood.
[Dedicated to Christopher Mayer (1954-2011) who died ten years ago today on July 23, 2011]
She gambled on you
She walked a bridge too far
You didn't feel it true
It was too high a bar
She could have tried talking
That way she would've known
Behind your infatuation
Real affection hadn't grown
She thought there was a bond
A mystical dream
But the wizard lost his wand
You were just a prop in the scene
She dreamed of a fire
You by her side
But love was a liar
Reason should guide.
She raised the stake
But gambling's a sin
with two eyes on the snake
The house has to win
Now it’s too late
To rewrite the part
She wagered on fate—
Then embittered her heart
I know we all get burnt
But I wish it hadn't gone so far
Lessons have to be learnt
Only Fate held the cards.
If you had a soul, it’s color would be black;
If you were Pinocchio, your nose would be as long as that;
If you could keep them on, your pants would be on fire;
You’re not only a cheat - you’re a big fat liar.
You look me straight in the eye
And pump out another lie.
I know you were with her,
So please don’t now deny.
Breaking my heart
Was just the start
Of the beginning of the end;
Now don’t add to the hurt
By saying she’s just a friend.
If you had a soul, it’s color would be black;
If you were Pinocchio, your nose would be as long as that;
If you could keep them on, your pants would be on fire;
You’re not only a cheat - you’re a big fat liar.
The cologne that you wear
Doesn’t cover her perfume.
I see other signs
That she was in our room.
You wonder why
All night I cry
And pretend that you don’t know;
I think the time has come
For you to pack and go.
If you had a soul, it’s color would be black;
If you were Pinocchio, your nose would be as long as that;
If you could keep them on, your pants would be on fire;
You’re not only a cheat - you’re a big fat liar.
No longer loving me,
Is surely bad enough;
But taking me for a fool
Is a bit too much.
Be a man,
Admit if you can,
You’re fooling around behind my back;
Then turn and walk out that door,
Taking your things I’ve already packed.
I would like to apologize
I know I’ve been distant
But I’m struggling
I hate this
It’s like I woke up one day
Missing myself
I never looked though
I just gave up
That wasn’t a hard choice
I felt tired
I’ll look when I get some sleep
Liar.
I said I’ll look
And I promise I will
Or maybe I’ll convince myself otherwise
I know I’m holding on still
So there’s no rush to search
When I’m still here
Well, kind of
Actually I think I’m far from near
I broke another promise
I never went to bed
I stayed up all night
Reminiscing in my head
Because why close my eyes
When I could stay awake
Thinking about things that make me sad
Things that make me break
I have an idea
I could go to sleep
Give myself a nice break
Finally get some peace
That could work
But I’m not
I feel like I don’t have any want
The want to get out of this spot
I say I do
I think that’s a lie
I know that it is
I don’t know why
I guess I’ll let you know
If I want to go look
Because I’m ok being incomplete
If saying I’m ok gets me off the hook
I was trying to help the birdie the diabolical cat lied
I saw my parakeet Poindexter, shivering by his side
Then why does he look frozen with fear? I asked the cat.
I think he saw something awful, he fibbed. Maybe a rat.
I never want to see you open his cage again I told the cat.
My voice was steely, I was angry with this liar, Matt.
I won’t he fibbed, but I did not believe him at all.
I gave him away to my Uncle, who set him down in his hall.
There are mice all over this place, he told Matt.
You can eat any dinner you can catch, he told my ex-cat.
Poindexter was saved, and Matt is not as happy as he could be.
The moral of this story is easy: Do not lie to me.
Holidays are meant to be significant for enjoyment!
The problem is that the proposal for engagement is met with pure blissful ignorance!
Denying my words for a union of an engagement!
Was wrong as you lied to a person that wanted to build a bridge based on acceptance!
Stay within the confounds of your status as you will not live in bliss!
You focused on a symptom of similarities and not of outwardness!
Due to your lies and ignorance I am not inclined to change your status to misses from miss!
I am a man that when given the chance will go to straightforwardness!
You gave up on improvement!
You would rather be in denial!
It is sad that you would not look at me as a form of improvement
You look at your future in a form of a person that likes to see the truth of being a person that likes to beguile!
Enjoy your stupidity and go forth!
My trust will shatter and the world will dissolve.
And I will stop searching for my family, I give up on my resolve.
Because normalcy is not permitted behind these walls.
We are sent here to be protected from our family's calls.
They drain the promise from our veins.
They tell us that our hope is vain.
The people that watch us are not benign.
They are not here to make sure we’re fine.
To turn us in, or turn us away?
We feel guilt for our needs in this place we stay.
We will always wonder if our family’s patience will grow.
Once spring comes and our strength melts with the snow.
They lied once again, with greedy wrath.
They say we are worth what we came with, which was nothing but the pain we craft.
[Verse]
What does it mean to be holy?
Can that word ever apply to me?
For I am a wretched sinner
Bound for a dark eternity
[Verse]
I am an outlaw, a liar
A thief, fornicator and more
Every law that I've broken
I've broken many times before
[Verse]
But even if only one
Of your laws had I ignored
I would be just as guilty
Of turning away from you Lord
[Chorus]
So what does it mean to be holy?!
A term I may never claim…
Unless I add two letters…
And end it with your name
I am Wholly yours, Jesus
I am Wholly bought with your blood
I am Wholly yours oh God
I am Wholly and completely loved!
[Bridge]
What does it mean to be holy?
Can that word ever apply to me?
For I am a wretched sinner
Bound for a dark eternity
[Chorus]
So what does it mean to be holy?!
A term I may never claim…
Unless I add two letters…
And end it with your name
[Repeat Chorus]
I am Wholly yours, Jesus
I am Wholly bought with your blood
I am Wholly yours oh God
I am Wholly and completely loved!
[Repeat Chorus]
I am Wholly yours, Jesus
I am Wholly bought with your blood
I am Wholly yours oh God
I am Wholly and completely loved!
GET’ER DONE
I don’t like a bragging bigot,
Tall in stature, but in class, a midget
A man of faith, a fool to some
But at least a man who’ll get’er done.
I don’t like a man, who’s mouth is runny,
You’ll be outraged or think it’s funny.
A brilliant boss, a beast to some,
At least a man who’ll get’er done.
Don’t like a bull in a China shop,
Cut to the chase, fail or flop.
Not a fan of most everyone,
But at least a Hulk who’ll get’er done.
Would we rather one tailor fit,
political liar, bumbling twit...
A wrecking ball that ain’t bout Schmidt?
Excuse my colorful candid wit.
Give me a proven man
whose paid the cost,
have built an empire being the boss,
Went far out into the deep,
to save his country rocked to sleep
Some’ll beg to differ, but here’s the sum.
We needed a patriot who would get’er done!
"You're gonna face trouble if Navalny dies in prison, 2021"—President Biden
Martyr & Saint
1976-2024
By tempting fate, speaking truth to power, he languished in icy confinement
This courageous proud Russian was a bold soul of staunch refinement
This tormented martyr, and prophetic sage, silenced and confined to a cage
Continued to fight his tenacious battle, while we heeded his words of outrage
By a cold-hearted tyrant, a man of truth and honor with contempt was slain
In the nation of his birth, their saint for justice they will anoint and ordain
A man who spoke out to a dictator for his people’s sake and for humanity
Well known worldwide for his stance against Vladimir Putin’s insanity
By tempting fate, he was sentenced to solitary confinement and sent to Sibiria
As bizarre as it sounds, a place where evil throws one away for nonsensical trivia
Tortured with poison and beaten daily, still he spoke out in chains, a martyr
All awhile the cruel ruler of his homeland proved again and again an evil liar
A despot has his way, on this day Alex Navalny died, a tyrant’s signature at play
Tyrants may come, tyrants may go, this hero’s legacy of love shall forever stay
Minds can’t comprehend, can’t wrap our brains 'round the severity, bizarre
Angered is his family who demand righteous revenge; O Lord let it not be war
