The Power of Community

Not every man who wears a crown is able to be a good king And not every women who wears a crown can be a good queen For if you don't possess the love for God and have a community to safeguard your back No matter your title or status you will constantly be under attack Now three generations of kings would not follow the dictates of God Jehoshaphat and his ancestors had no love for the Lord in their hearts For if one has no sincerity dwelling within Your alliance with others is not that of friends So be careful who you keep company with and be cautious in your relationships For if you hang with those who don't know God you'll be like a rudderless ship Lost and confused not knowing the love of God Bitter and burnt with envy in your heart Now understand that a community which prepares and prays Will give each other the power to always make a way Comprehend that a community which prays and prepares Will gird each other up to present the spirit of no fear The power of community is an omnipotent force Which can bring about true change with godly recourse The power of community is a mighty entity For there is strength in numbers that assures victory Today we see the signs of change and we can not let up For we've placed ourselves in the position to now interrupt The power of community is about positioning and praise Let us stand on Holy ground and in song our voices to God be raised To give God the glory and all that He is due For as a community we stand stronger, longer and true Now let's all use the talents and gifts that to us God gave Let us step out of comfort zones with good courage and spiritually brave For the power of a community that praises, prays and positions itself properly With the love of God and the worship to God will have provisions abundantly
