They told me that I would fall,
Not knowing I had alot in store.
I felt the pain,
But I new someday I would gain.
Nobody to trust nobody to lose,
I had no option but to choose.
It was so hard to open up,
Sometimes I would even feel like it was a trap.
I had to be strong,
So I had someone to tag along.
My life was a living hell,
But no one could tell.
All I did was smile,
And trust me no one knew I had walked an extra mile.
People saw the smile on my face,
Without knowing I was in a hectic race.
I thought it would never end,
But all I did was to mend.
The words were to painful too bear,
And no one had time to care.
It was a very hurtful experience,
Which was very intense.
I lost it all,
But I couldn’t give up and that’s one thing for sure.
I had to find myself,
And it was like checking every shelf.
It was so hard to believe,
But now it’s a relieve.
My heart was filled with sadness,
And it actually felt like madness.
I did things I didn’t mean to do,
And we’ll it’s true.
They made me become bitter,
But I always do my best to be better.
I almost lost my mind,
But despite everything I’ll always be kind.
They never understood me,
So I always sat alone under a tree.
I felt like I was trapped in a cage,
And sometimes I would rage.
Never let people define you,
Even though they might think you’re a fool.
Believe in what is right,
And you’ll never lose sight.
Always look at someone’s heart,
Because you’ll miss the best part.
Better to let go of diamonds and gold,
Than to break your heart for what won't be yours to hold.
You insulted us because we are thin
You insulted because we are fat
You insulted us with your hurtful words
But your not ashamed of that.
You insulted the way we dressed and that we
have ginger hair
Your made us want to die and you don't
Seemed to care
You insulted us for wearing glasses and
the way we look
You insulted my wife for being blind
and she couldn't read a book
You insulted us and laughed at the pain
You could plainly see
It must have given you great pleasure when
You embarrassed her and me
You insulted us about our family and what has
Happened in our life
The words you used to insult us cut deep
Like a blunt knife
Why did you feel the need to insult us in front
Of people in the street
The insulting things you said to us made run
Away in retreat
You insulted us over parking and where
We parked our car.
What is confusing us both is we have no idea who you are.
NOVEMBER THE 4TH, IS HER BIRTHDAY
HER PASSING AWAY REMEMBERED ON THIS DAY
MISSED BY EVERYONE
SHE WAS ONE OF A KIND
HAD A WISE SOUL
HEART OF GOLD
A CARING MIND
A STRONG HEART
DIED AT 80 PLUS
REMEMBERED BY ALL OF US.
HAD A STRONG WILL
SHE DRESSED IN HER BEST
WOULD PUT YOU TO THE TEST
WAS A RELIGIOUS WOMAN
A CLASSY PERSON TOO
REMINDED YOU OF WHAT YOU COULD DO
SHE WOULD STARE AT YOU WITH A GLARE
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
SHE LOVED TO GO OUT AND EAT
STEADY GOING ON HER FEET
CLEAN AND ORGANIZED
PAID HER TITHES.
RESTING IN PEACE
NO MORE PAINS
NOR HURTFUL NAMES
NO MORE CRIES
NO MORE LIES.
THE HEAVEN ABOVE
MUCH MUCH LOVE.
FAMILY.

I Saw an Angelic hurtful,
O’ God I Saw
An Angelic humble host
An Angelic human, helpful host
Hopeful, heavenly holy host,
Praising…
O’ Michael I Saw
An Angelic horrible, heavy host
Kicked down from heaven fell to earth
Beautiful he was Satan-Lucifer
This handsome horrid, hyper host
This hateful Angelic high minded host
I Saw an Angelic hilarious, hyperactive host fall from grace
Landing on this world of hate
Yes, he was kick out of grace, landing fast and hard on his face
I Saw an Angelic hungry, hot host
I Saw the Angelic angel with the lost

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr.
Work, work, work,
Never a task we shirk
From dusk till dawn
From dawn till dusk
In God we place our trust.
Smile, smile, smile
As we tarry awhile
With cheerful smile
we heal a heart
that wounds have torn apart.
Kind and thoughtful
Never mean or hurtful
for tomorrow our turn may come
It's now or never, to help another
As we plod and keep on the run.
It never fails
our gentle touch
to warm a heart anew
Little words that leave our lips
are like balm upon a bruise.
A nurse's day begins with love
but when sunset comes and our day is done
We hope that God will say
A job well done my dearest ones
But tomorrow, we'll start anew.
Snow came down hard
Harassing the roadside bar
Taking one more shot
Reminding himself, 'he was hot'
John proceeded to the lavatory
Without any worry
Mirror, he did reflect
No fear of the word 'reject'
Ventured into the night
Seeking a romantic sight
Reality stated hurtful fight
"Goodbye, my dear knight
Our relationship is dead,"
Wearing the pearls he bought, she said
Returning to the watering hole
Shivering and cold
Shocking we were told
Seductress commanded the stage
Half anyone's age
Protected inside a cage
Belting out a tune
Loving warmth came back soon
After being swooned
Patrons did say
Heating bill, owner electronically paid
When the tempting tease was done
She approached the admirer, looking for fun
As for the haunting past outside
Confirming someone had lied
And died
"Those pearls fit you right"
Stranger mentioned, eyes bright
"They are a little tight,"
Informed the songbird, preparing for a deathly fight
Confirming fan, a nut
She kicked them in the butt
Finding a cell
Lonely, I must tell
God, what do you like to laugh about?
You like to laugh with us or at us?
Or both?
Do you see yourself in us God?
Do you see us trying to fix things?
Things that we know are broken and just can’t be fixed
Have you seen how we love?
We only love ones who can and will love us back
And pay attention when we are paid attention to
What about when we are angry and extremely mad?
We forget that person’s good points and attributions
and throw everything to the wind -say hurtful things
We know you are not a respecter of persons
But we think You are just for us
Special, specific, unique
All for us
What about when we go the wrong way Lord?
We know that we should not enter
We go there anyway
And you have to deliver us out
God, so many things, situations, happenings
Are you laughing at us?
Our mistakes and our solutions to them
We try to be the best
Want the best
But hope for the best
We say one thing but do another
We think we learn
But déjà vu - here we go
When we would ever do
what we say we do?
When we would ever say exactly what we mean?
God I hope you are having fun
Trying to mend us
Picking us up
Because we will do it over and over God
We just don’t learn
In autumn, I came upon a garden of errant souls
And saw several souls sequestered there.
Some were well-known and some were fools,
But others were only tarrying there.
Though the sanguine souls were tall in bloom,
there were stunted souls among them.
I wondered why tall souls gave the short ones room;
And, in the end, accepted them.
Tears flowed from the stunted souls,
And I cried along with them,
Knowing their earthly sins had taken tolls.
I marveled at this hospice garden’s lack of strife,
Considering each soul’s long and hurtful history
Of sins they committed during their earthly life
Before they were planted in this secluded purgatory.
Slowly, I removed my battle-worn defensive armor
Once I realized this garden was a hallowed staging place
Wherein souls were healing deep wounds to their Karma.
As soon as healing started, souls grew tall to greet God’s grace.
And now, He was gathering the tallest ones in His arms
So that He could take them through His Pearly Gates.
To me it is the only cure
Love so gentle, kind and pure
To ease all the heartaches and pain
My life has found time and again
I need kindness to find it's way
Inside my soul every day
To make it shine and sunny warm
So I can take on any storm
That life wants to throw at me
Seeing with eyes of clarity
That I have to always know
An inner peace and caring glow
That takes me on a journey of
Bliss sincerity and love
So I can send these helpful vibes
Into the stressful hurtful lives
Of others who want to find
A way to leave troubles behind
Waking up to happiness
Settling for nothing less
every day I cry new tears
from the awful things I hear
please take a look and you will see
I'm like you and your like me
the words you speak are very wrong
and my pains real and strong
stop using words of extreme hate
it puts me in a saddened state
think about the words you choose
what if I said them back to you
with a hardened and mean stare
then I think you'd finally care
I may not look the same as you
but my heart can break in two
from the racist things you say
believe me they are not O.K.
open up your eyes and heart
that would be the place to start
really take a look around
everywhere it can be found
different love, shapes and colors
do not make fun of others
the way we look, speak, even act
we're all unique and thats a fact
let me say this one more time
racism is an awful crime
prejudice and hate are too
stop before its done to you
